I’m so unbelievably proud of Kris I can’t even fully express it. Not only is he branching out on his own as an artist, releasing hip hop solos in English, he’s now playing a supporting role in a Hollywood film with an absolutely killer cast. He’s in a movie with Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson for crying out loud, and he’s got a pretty big role. Even if the movie doesn’t get good critic ratings, he’s in a movie with Vin Diesel and Nina Dobrev and Deepika Padukone and Samuel L. Jackson. And he has a song on the soundtrack.
He’s getting some mainstream traction and publicity, but most importantly he’s doing things that make him happy. He’s so smiley and healthy in all his recent interviews for this movie and I couldn’t be more proud or happy for him. Congrats, Kris Wu, we love you and we’re so beyond proud of everything you’re accomplishing.
