#TAJWASH10

On February 12, 2014, while Sara was studying abroad in London and Shannen was still in Florida, Shannen messaged Sara about successfully securing dorm room 221 for their 2014-2015 school year.

Shannen: This is as good a time as any to mention I have totally been considering doing an all female* Sherlock Holmes web series next year so.

Sara: I'll be Watson to your Sherlock

*The show, Shannen, and Sherlock did not remain 100% "all female."

Shannen had been working on "Notes by Christine," a web series inspired by "The Phantom of the Opera."

Sara pointed out it would be college AU and then named Jamie on the spot.

On August 10, 2014, "The Adventures of Jamie Watson (and Sherlock Holmes)" officially began. In 2024, TAJWASH will turn 10 years old.

To celebrate a decade of our little web series, we'll be counting down by resharing every video and social media post here on Tumblr, in real-time, beginning on August 10, 2023 (the 9th anniversary).

Use #TAJWASH10 to share commentary and memories about the show.

Whether you watched TAJWASH 10 years ago, sometime later, or will be watching it for the first time now, we hope you enjoy!

It’s Asexual Awareness Week, so just a reminder that I wrote and starred in TWO literary webseries featuring asexual representation.

The Adventures of Jamie Watson (and Sherlock Holmes): Our Sherlock Holmes is aroace, and a few minor characters are ace as well.

Hamlet the Dame: Our Hamlet is ace, and most of the minor characters are ace as well.

Pride Month Webseries Recommendations

Happy almost end of Pride Month, webseries Tumblr! In honor of the fantastic LGBTQ+ webseries fans and creators out there, I’ve compiled a list of some of the many fantastic LGBTQ+ webseries that are out there. I’ve seen almost all of these, and all of them are created by fantastic people and have great representation, though the degree to which they manage that definitely varies. I’ve grouped the shows by type of representation, though a couple got shuffled around so that I’d have enough in certain categories. Shows under the cut. Happy viewing!
