The Princess of Flora, Garden Wishes, organized an excursion to see the beautiful flowers of the Rosedal, especially its varied species of roses.
So, she invited Desert Rose (the floriculturist of Ponyville specialized in roses), and Spring Fever (she helps flowers to bloom after winter).
Spring Fever wanted to go with her boyfriend Applejack, and since Garden Wishes knows his amazing picnic baskets, she thought that invite him would be a very good idea... apple jam and brandy are perfect for an excursion!
