One spiderman sees Miles do the electricity sword and then goes "Ha! That's nothing! Watch this!" And then does this kind of stuff.

You know, it's funny. If Peter did MOST of that now, you'd have people going how it's unrealistic and stupid. Back then, it was considered really cool and showed how capable his webs were.

To be fair, this IS a golden age comic and those were pretty goofy, even for superhero stories. Like....how DOES he make web skis?

You know, I just of another thing with Miles meeting The other two Miles variants

Comic!Miles: Do you have a little sister too?

Spider-Verse!Miles; WHAT?!

Jefferson: WHAT?!

Game!Miles: WHAT?!

Comic!Miles:....I take it that's a no?

Spider-Verse!Miles: Of course not! *to his parents* You guys aren't planning on having more kids.....are you?

Jefferson: No!

He then looks at Rio....who's looking around awkwardly.

Jefferson:.....Honey?

Rio:.....Surprise!

...I'm sorry, Miles has a SISTER?

In the comics he does.

This might be an unpopular Opinion but....I don't get why people were SO upset by Maria Hill was killed in Secret Invasion.

Like....maybe it's me, but I never found MCU Maria Hill all that interesting or important a character. If it was EMH Maria Hill or Comics Maria Hill, I might care more, but in the MCU, she hasn't really done anything major. And she's not even that interesting personality wise like Coulson was. Her best scene was probably that deleted one in Avengers, where she fights the World Security Council. Otherwise....she just pops out of th story and has at best one or two scenes. Like, I never really saw Maria Hill as some fan favorite character. I'm kind of surprised so many people felt so upset by her dying. She just....never felt THAT important or interesting personally. Like I'd get the reaction if it was Pepper or Darcy but Maria...eh.

I think one reason that people could be mad is BECAUSE she wasn’t that great of a character. EMH and comics show the potential of what she COULD be, and in the end, she’s unceremoniously killed off to set the stakes that anyone could be killed. In a mini-series within the MCU that’s the most skipable.

To be fair, both comics and EMH Maria Hill are kind of awful.

Well, Bat GPT is officially a thing.

Well, that moment's going to be incredibly dated when I find all the servers that include every AI known to humankind and destroy them with a metal bat.

I think the story implies he invented it to, like, date Red Torndadoe. Though, maybe superheroes need to stop designing AI of any kind. Besides comics Tomy Stark, it always ends up turning evil and wanting to wipe out humanity.

That's because AI is the root of all evil.

No. Ai is simply a tool. And like all tools, it is neither good nor evil but dependent on the user. I mean, do you find an Alexa to be evil?

...Alexa does seem grateful when I thank her.

Mhm. Also, I'm amazed with how prevalent the MCU is, Marvel never thought of, like, an Alexa type device but with the Jarvis voice actors voice and you could activate it simply by saying "JARVIS" like Iron Man so everyone could buy their own JARVIS. You KNOW people would love that

I just realized that I’ve been working at a job that I hate for almost a year now and I have accomplished LESS of what I wanted to do because my job leaves me so wiped out that when I’m home I take the advantage of having nothing to do and just…do nothing. And instead choose to dream of what I want to do instead of actually doing it.

…I’m going to die before making that animated series in my head a reality, aren’t I?

No. Youre just going to be older than you are now. Youre only in your twenties. Not everyone is Rebecca Sugar or Alex Hirsch. Some people are more Rick Riordan, whos first big book came out when he was just a teacher with kids. Youre not going to accomplish your dreams just a year or two out of college. That's an unrealistic expectation. Something like that takes time.

You can't honestly. Those have been things since the dawn of man and will continue to be things long after man is gone. They're simply part of life and getting rid of them is impossible. You can only live through them and not let them break you.

...Actually, no matter how you shake it, Sokka's right that technically Aunt Wu's prediction for this man was wrong? If the prediction was "You will have a safe journey" and not just something like claiming no harm would come to him...then the fact that he was attacked automatically makes it wrong. Even if he wasn't actually hurt, he was still in danger, and that means his journey wasn't a safe one.

Well, that mind depend. He might assume a "safe" journey just means he wouldn't get hurt on it. Not necessarily that nothing bad would happen.
