So sorry for the silence. I hope that you guys enjoyed the last chapter of Escape if you've gotten to it and I honestly hope you enjoyed the series as a whole. Still feels weird to open my laptop and not go into the next chapter haha
But anyway, I've been trying to get around to setting up a new series for you, it's just been a pretty hectic few weeks on my end. First with Thanksgiving and all and then I've been dealing with court dates, paperwork and all that....divorce sucks.
I have a bit of a calm zone for now, so we'll see what I can get going here. I'll try to have more info for you guys later this week.

Oh my goodness... this is such an emotional chapter!
I won't say too much because I don't want to give away what happens!
You had me guessing the whole way through who the character death you mentioned in this chapters warnings would be. I think I changed my mind three times before I found out who it actually was.
When you got to the reveal, though, you had me in tears... the funeral scene just had so much emotion in it.

It's so hard being on this side because I am beyond happy that my Rollercoaster of deception worked but then at the same time my heart is just so....ugh

I don’t have the time to really sit down and read properly the 2 new chapters but omg I just saw character death in the warnings and I am so not ready. You better have been nice Meg!!
Also, you are always so incredibly nice in your replies and I am absolutely sure you will publish a book (probably sooner than later imo). Your writing is just amazing and I’m always on the edge of my seat when reading those tense moments and I love the sweeter ones.

Got in late last night and wasn't able to get Escape ready. I spent the morning at work and then hung out with my daughter afterwards and then I was just working on getting it set up when I found out some tragic news.
I was just going to post it right away, but after hearing this news I just don't think I can. So Escape is ready to go up in the morning.
{Forgive me if you're not a fan, but I am and this news has completely crushed me}
So, until tomorrow morning, I'm taking tonight to mourn this amazing actor...

Oh my goodness... so much action is happening in this chapter!
Yes, Eddie, thank goodness he thought to check the area for any property linked to Cassidy when that report came in. Also, good job that Bobby knew the name on the property was linked to him.
The relief I felt when they had found Dean! I know he's not out of the woods yet, but at least they are getting him help.
Styles has caught up to Cassidy... Yes!!
That moment in the woods when the hand was put over her mouth, my heart plummeted... I was sure Cassidy had caught her. I sighed the biggest sigh of relief when I realised it was Eddie!
Then it all went wrong for them, poor Eddie!! He's going to be ok, right? At least Bobby and the others are there now to get Cassidy, I'm just worried how many people he's going to try and take down with him.
For a brief second you could hear Eddie behind you, calling out for you to move. But before you could react to him, it happened.
The gun went off.
Meg!! What a place to end the chapter!! What's happening?? Who shot who?? Please tell me it was Bobby or one of his guys that shot Cassidy, and not Cassidy shooting someone!!
Here you go again, making me smile uncontrollably and wishing I could hug you. But, yeah, this is a big chapter and I know I shoved a lot into it. Despite the cliffhanger, I was back and forth on ending it earlier but then realized that no matter what I did, there would be some type of cliffhanger hahaha
As for Dean...yeah. I wrote it and yet I get a bit emotional thinking about how they found him on the ground in that barn, the place burning down around him and him just being so helpless with his injuries...ugh.
But I am definitely a sucker for thrillers, and I have found that I really enjoy writing those intense moments. So, Eddie grabbing the reader but for it to take a moment to be revealed just pleases me so much hahaha *insert evil laughing gif* And I guess that explains why I ended it the way I did. Just more intensity and confusion and making people scream for answers.
On that note and to answer your final question up there, my sadistic, thriller loving self has a bit more torture left.
