Deeply upset by the laundry at any given point
women learned about the concept of love languages and never stfu
I hope our baby’s love language is acts of service
I've got my first Marceline sticker for sale on my new Etsy store! There are about 50 left in stock if you'd like to get your hands on one. (No international shipping outside the US yet, but will hopefully make that happen soon)
In Japanese, they don’t say “moon,” they say “tsuki,” which literally translates to “moon,” and I think that’s how language works.
Hey its been at least 9 years anything changed?
nope! all quiet on the linguistic front. i am a girl now though
Hey weird question but what happens if you put two reasonably likeable anthropologists of wildly different cultures together in the same room? Do they study each other? CAN they? Is it like an infinite conversational feedback loop? I'm imagining two dogs eternally sniffing each others butts at the park

Me, watching the Watcher "Goodbye YouTube" video: wow what a terrible business decision, what a shame
Me, reading the comments: wow what terrible people you all are, I don't think you deserved this content anyway
Hey Watcher fans, if you guys are looking for new content to listen to now that Watcher is disappearing into a paywall I reccomend checking out Red Web!
They're also an unsolved mystery podcast with 2 hilarious hosts Trevor and Fredo and they used to be part of Roosterteeth but now that RT is shutting down they're going indie and making their own channel to continue the show in the future. (We aren't sure if they're changing their name yet but for now it's still called Red Web) They have some topics that cross with Watcher and Buzzfeed Unsolved but they also dive into modern internet mysteries, mysterious historical artifacts, ARGs and even a few ghost hunts of their own and they're extremely passionate about it that they wanted to continue their show even after their parent company shut down.
I reccomend checking them out and supporting them as they branch out from their main company just like Watcher did with Buzzfeed many years ago. Who knows? Maybe we can help them become the new Watchers in the future?
i feel like the internet of things has made people forget how crazy it is that so much high quality entertainment is available for free. but lbr its not sustainable. people want content to be free, good quality AND ethical but you can only have two of those at once. ii get being upset but a lot of people are demonstrating that when the chips are down they value the first two qualities more than the third
YES! It's actually the same damn thing that happens with fanworks. The tide has turned on shitting on artists who ask for rightfully priced commission rates and the tide sure is loud in the vein of telling people to protect creative works from being overtaken by AI. Listen, AI is inexpensive; it is liable to be all sorts of free just smothered in other ads with AI in them. We should know better than this, that making quality content that is original and positive cannot be free if it's at the expense of it continuing to be positive. We've watched youtubers all over the place go full burn out and disappear; There's a reason why even the richest youtubers have a couple side gigs, but we want Ryan, Shane and Steven to keep churning out the magic for free, selling parts of themselves to sponsors so we can turn our ad-block on. I'm just thrilled that they want to do this so sustainably that they looked at a different business model to keep right on doing it.
Reddit really is having a whole meltdown over the watcher situation.
Once again the internet cries because their favorite content needs money to keep making content
it sucks a lot of emotional responses to distress are also emotional responses people associate with being dishonest. "ummm if you weren't lying why did you get so defensive" BECAUSE YOU ACCUSED ME OF LYING WHEN I DIDN'T..?
idk what you call this sort of "logic" but I blame the body language reader pop psychology people
man this year is gonna be the year i either die or become someone else i dont know which one maybe both
Everytime i think of the future i nearly throw up
hate to say it but the cow is right
Oh plush cow we're really in it now
I don't know why, but I find it even more comforting to look at it this way:
They're going crazy on LinkedIn
