In the wild these urchins will in fact carry a small rock or shell exactly on top like this and im so happy there's people taking advantage of that and who care about their urchins as pets.

i visited an aquarium at some point, and our tour guide told that when the staff had a party, they put a little decorative plastic hat from a booze bottle into the sea urching tank, and just left it there because the sea urchins liked it, and kept taking turns in wearing it.

Discovering that sea urchins wearing hats is a thing in this world means so much to me rn

I recently watched this panel with Austin Wintory and Christian Pacaud about the music in AC Syndicate, which I’m forever obsessed with, and oddly enough it gave me a weird project to occupy myself the last couple days. One thing they talked about that completely fascinated me  was the very distinct musical lives of each district, and how they were integrated into the rooftop/get viewpoint music, specifically how every district has it’s own subtle Victorian folk song theme. They showed a couple of them in the panel, but I made it my mission to figure them all out. As a result, I’ve been wandering around 1868 London like a maniac tracking down street musicians and humming to myself, trying to sus out which was which, because I couldn’t find a full list anywhere. 

So Hey! If you were curious, here’s the list lmao. It sounds pretty obvious when you listen to them back to back but trust me when I say that most of them really aren’t. I think it’s very clever writing and amazing attention to detail and want more people to know about it lol so. here:
