One Shot: New Year’s Eve

Note: I tried to reblog one of the requests from @tayvinfanfiction but somehow it didn’t appear on my feed. Anyway... Please enjoy!

New Year’s Eve (Mature One Shot)

It was bound to happen. They were bound to meet again. They were in the same industry and they had mutual friends. The chance of Taylor Swift and Adam Wiles to meet again after their breakup was very high.

This time it was at Ellie Goulding’s thirtieth birthday bash slash New Year’s Eve party. Taylor was reluctant to come because she didn’t feel like seeing Adam. They had said some hurtful things when they broke up and the social media wars that followed after. The last thing Taylor would want was meeting Adam, on New Year’s Eve nonetheless, the day of resets. But Ellie wouldn’t take a no for an answer, especially since she knew that Taylor didn’t have anything planned for New Year’s Eve. Tom had a work commitment in Australia and wouldn’t be free until mid-January. They already made a plan to meet in Bali for a little downtime under the sun after he finished working.

So there they were, standing at the opposite side of the room, trying to avoid each other. Or at least Taylor did. Adam was very much occupied with a young woman, who was not only beautiful but also graceful, to even notice Taylor’s arrival at the party.

All night long Taylor tried to stay away from Adam. It was proven to be a lot harder than she expected because apparently Adam’s date loved to dance and they had been claiming the dance floor as their own. Every time Taylor looked around, the two of them were in her line of vision. At that very moment, Taylor forgot that she was the Taylor Swift, all she saw was this woman was everything she wasn’t. Gorgeous, elegant, a good dancer, and she had successfully asked Adam to dance with her not only once, but all night long. The green-eyed monster was lurking behind Taylor’s shoulders. It was almost impossible to ask Adam Wiles to dance with her back when they were still dating. Taylor needed to restraint herself from cutting the woman and danced with Adam, right now and right there.

Nearing the midnight, Taylor decided that she needed to be alone and clear her head. She didn’t feel like seeing Adam kissing the beautiful woman during the countdown. Grabbing her drink, she excused herself from Ed and made her way to the rooftop above Ellie’s penthouse. Adam was nowhere to be seen, she figured maybe he was at the restroom.

How very wrong Taylor was. As fate had it, who she should run into when she got to the rooftop other than her ex-boyfriend. Adam was leaning against the wall barrier, looking at the gleaming city before him. He seemed to be in deep thoughts.

“Shit!” Taylor muttered under her breath as she was trying to decide whether she needed to flee the scene or greet Adam.

The sound of the door and Taylor’s curse pulled Adam from his contemplation. He looked around and saw his ex-girlfriend was standing awkwardly at the door.

Adam smirked, “nice to see you too, Tay!”.

“Adam, hi! How are you?” Taylor faked her greetings. It was so fake that her voice didn’t even sound like her anymore.

Adam furrowed his brows when he heard Taylor’s pitchy voice, “I’m good. How are you, Tay?”

Taylor hadn’t heard his voice for quite a while, she forgot how much she loved his accent, “I’m doing okay… Sorry… I thought no one would be here… I’ll leave you to it,” Taylor said awkwardly and started to turn her heels.

“You don’t have to avoid me, you know?” Adam called out, still leaning casually against the wall barrier, amused at his ex-girlfriend awkwardness, “just because we broke up, doesn’t mean we can’t talk to each other.

Taylor blushed, “I’m not avoiding you,” she mumbled pathetically.

Adam chuckled, “you are never a good liar, Taylor. Admit it, if you hadn’t bumped into me here, you would’ve left the party tonight without saying anything to me, right?”

Taylor looked down at her feet, finding her strappy heels suddenly very interesting, “yeah… well I’m not very good at keeping in touch with my exes,” she admitted shyly.

Adam’s face hardened, there was a flash of rage in his expression. “Well… I guess I am one of your exes,” he said coldly.

Taylor was taken aback by his coldness, “what’s that suppose to mean?”

“Nothing… I guess being with you for fifteen months didn’t mean anything to you. Here I thought I would mean more to you than your other exes whom you dated for two seconds!” He spat, quickly regretted what he was saying right away. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean the last part,” he added quickly.

It was too late, the damage had been done. Taylor could feel anger raising from her body to her head, “I never thought it would be coming from you of all people,” she hissed.

“Look, I’m sorry I said it, but I meant the other part,” Adam interjected, “I thought we had more that you wouldn’t treat me like your other ex-boyfriends after we broke up, I guess I was wrong!”

“You never contacted me either, Adam!” Taylor replied hotly.

“You were already with another man, Taylor!” He almost screamed, “what am I supposed to do? Call you and say, ‘hey, how’s the new guy treating you? Does he give you everything I couldn’t give you?’” he said mockingly.

Taylor crossed her arms in front of her chest, “well… you surely had time to write those nasty comments on Instagram instead of calling me. What happened to the love and respect bullshit you kept telling me over and over again when we broke up?” she yelled.

“It was supposed to be reciprocal, Taylor! You lost my respect when you didn’t respect me enough to start snogging another man a month after you broke up with me!” Adam snapped angrily, he was no longer leaning against the wall. He was standing tall and started closing their distance, without even realizing it. “You just couldn’t wait few more weeks, could you? You just had to rub it on my face right away!”

“We broke up, Adam! I didn’t need your permission to do whatever I wanted!” Taylor was thankful they were practically in the sky, because their screaming match could wake up an entire village down below.

“You never asked my permission, period! Not when we were dating, not ever!” Green eyes met blue eyes, four of them were burning in rage. They were now standing very close to each other.

“You are not my parents, Adam! I’m an adult, I don’t need anybody’s permission to do what I want!”

“Maybe you should start acting like one then. Of all the things that you are, I never thought that you were a hypocrite, Taylor! You were all about supporting other people when they were hurt, saying things that they’re not damaged goods and all those crap. But guess what? You actually hurt a person who really loved you. Someone you claimed to be an amazing boyfriend!”

Taylor looked up at Adam, she forgot how tall he was that she needed to look up to him whenever they were standing very close to each other, “we were drifting apart, Adam! You didn’t look at me the same way as you did when we first started going out. You no longer put me on the top of your list. I couldn’t be in an one-sided relationship like that! And I’m not going to apologize for getting what I want with another guy! I didn’t cheat on you there was nothing to apologize for!” she said firmly.

Adam’s jaws clenched, he was about to say something but he decided against it. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, “you know what? Let’s just stop here before we say more hurtful things to each other. Despite what happened, I still care about you and I would never intentionally hurt you,” he said softly, “I’m sorry if you didn’t feel enough when we were together, maybe my actions didn’t show it but my feelings for you were real,” Adam stared deeply into Taylor’s eyes. The twinkle that used to fill his green eyes was no longer there. His eyes were now dull, but Taylor could see that it was the same kind eyes that made her fall in love with this man.

Without even realizing what she was doing, Taylor leaned closer and crashed her lips to his.

The kiss started sweet and gentle as they re-discovered each other’s mouth and tongue. Then it started escalating. Taylor bit his lower lip roughly, making him grunt. He cupped her face and forced his tongue to dance with hers. It was a battle of dominance and soon their judgment was clouded by lust and passion for each other.

Adam walked them both backwards until Taylor’s back was against the door. His hands started roaming through her side and back, making Taylor moan softly to her mouth. Her hands immediately started to unbuckle his belt, while Adam’s hands were unbuttoning her coat to reveal the sexy sequin tank top she was wearing. Without taking her coat off, he started caressing her breasts. He was delighted to find that she didn’t wear any bra underneath that flimsy top. He nudged the strap, freeing her breasts in the process. The cold air made her shiver and her nipples instantly hardened. Without hesitation, Adam broke their kiss and began sucking her protruding nipple, while his hand was massaging the other breast, sending electric pleasure throughout Taylor’s body. She moaned his name softly.

His burgeoning erection was begging to be freed from his confined pants. He needed to be inside her depth that instant. In one swift move, Adam slipped his hand under Taylor’s black skirt and pulled her panties down roughly. The delicate panties fell apart in his hand with a loud rip sound, but none of them paid any attention to the poor undergarment. Taylor was getting impatient as well, she unzipped Adam’s pants and pulled both his pants and boxers down, exposing his ass to the cold air.

Adam picked Taylor up and she instinctively wrapped her long legs around Adam’s waist. With one final gaze at Taylor’s cloudy eyes, Adam entered his hard member into Taylor’s core. Both of them gasped at their reunion.

Not giving Taylor a chance to catch her breath, Adam started to withdraw his length before quickly slamming it back inside her depth. He increased his pace as he went along, slowly awakening their bodies.

Taylor’s hands were clutching Adam’s back for dear life enjoying the ride Adam was giving her. A soft moan kept escaping her mouth and all she could think at that moment was how good he made her feel. Adam kissed her exposed neck roughly, she was sure that he had left an angry red mark. But she didn’t care, it was a price she was willing to pay for this kind of pleasure.

“Come for me, babe!” Adam grunted as he felt explosion was coming near.

He pushed himself even deeper and harder, hitting her sweet spot for each intrusion. “Adam… I’m… close! Harder!” Taylor panted.

It was all the encouragement that he needed. He gave all he had into one final push and Taylor exploded and carried him along with her. Each other’s name escaped their lips as their bodies hummed with wave of pleasures. Her walls were clenching Adam’s erection as he poured himself inside her depth. They both leaned against each other as they rode the ecstasy. Bodies trembled, mouths panted, sweats trickled. Adam buried his head into the crook of her neck, breathing in her sweet smell, while she rested her head against his racing heart.

It took a while before they finally came down from their high, and their breath returned to normal, and the realization hit Taylor hard.

“Shit!” she cursed.

“I know! I forgot how good we were,” Adam grunted, burying his head even further in the crook of her neck, he just couldn’t have enough of her intoxicating smell.

“No… no… no… I can’t believe I just cheated on Tom!” Taylor started to disentangle herself from Adam.

Adam snapped from his blissful state, “oh… him,” he said flatly before quickly pulling up his pants.

“Oh my God! I can’t believe I just cheated on my boyfriend with you!” Taylor said frantically as she started readjusting her clothes, “I knew it was a bad idea to come here in the first place…” she started rambling.

Adam stopped his track, “don’t you dare putting it on me, Taylor! You kissed me! You started the fire, not me, I was just following your lead!” he said coldly.

“Well… you should’ve stopped it…” Taylor was lost at words.

Adam laughed sarcastically at her as he continued working on his zipper and belt, “don’t play victim here, Taylor. We both know you wanted this to happen. You could’ve walked away from me, but you didn’t.”

“Fuck you, Adam!” she hissed.

Adam smirked, “well guess what, Miss Swift? You just did!”

Taylor gave him a death glare. Without saying anything to Adam, she turned her heels and opened the door behind her.

“Hey Tay!” Adam pulled her hand, halting her movement, “I hope you won’t regret what just happened, because I’m not regretting it,” he whispered.

Taylor didn’t say anything. She just took a flight on the staircases. Adam watched as Taylor disappeared into the staircases. Somewhere in the distance he could hear people were cheering over the New Year that had just begun. He was uncertain of what lies ahead for Taylor and him, but he was certain that 2016 had been the best and worst year of his life. And it was all because of the one and only Taylor Swift.

One Shot: Magic Happens at 2AM

Note: I’ve been listening to Red a lot lately. There are a lot of songs in that album that could easily be the soundtrack of what has been happening lately. I got this idea when I Almost Do was playing.

Also I realized that in real life Taylor’s security guards wouldn’t meddle in her personal life, but in my fan fiction realm they sort of do, so just go with it :D

Please enjoy, and let me know what you think.

------------

Magic Happens at 2AM

It was past midnight and Adam Wiles drove his black Range Rover around the streets of Los Angeles. There was no destination in mind. He just liked the calmness the night brought to the city. Mostly it was a way to evade falling asleep alone on his big empty cold bed. A habit he picked up after his fateful goodbye to Taylor in May. Maybe it was the fact that her ex-girlfriend loved to write songs about midnight driving, 2AM fights and sleepless nights, that slowly it rubbed on him.

“You know what happens at 2AM?” Taylor asked one time after their lovemaking session.

He was ready to succumb into post-coital bliss, but for some unknown reason, she was wide-awake and completely wired, asking ridiculous questions. “Sleep is what happens at 2AM,” he grunted as he snuggled closer to her warm body.

Taylor laughed softly, “no, it's not, sleepyhead! Magic. Magic is what happens at 2AM.”

And then she went on and on about what kind of magic happened at 2AM. Epic fight, mind-blowing kiss, passionate sex, rainstorms, award-winning songs, second chance were some of the things that he managed to catch before falling asleep on her.

A memory played in his mind as he automatically made a turn to a familiar street. Every time, his destination-less drive ended up in her street. Every time.

It was no different this time around. The only thing different was the previously dark house was now well lit. Meaning the owner of the house was currently in town, and probably not sleeping.

Adam parked his car across the street and let out a big sigh. Should he knock on her door? Or should he just drive away?

As he was debating with himself, his iPod shuffled to one of Taylor’s songs, and the guitar intro of I Almost Do filled his car. He never really paid any attention to this particular song, as she never really performed this song live.

Taylor’s vocal belted a ballad about wanting to go back to a relationship but afraid of another goodbye. Adam listened to the lyrics, word by word, and he wondered if this song still applied to them or had they lost their chance for good?

Adam didn’t know how long he had sat there in his car, pondering about the song and his failed relationship to the only woman he had ever truly loved.

A tap in his window brought him back to earth. He saw that it was Dave, one of Taylor’s security guards.

Adam rolled his window down. “Are you going to sit there all night long or are you coming?” Dave asked point blank.

Adam chuckled. Adam had always liked Dave as he had always been supportive of Adam and Taylor’s relationship. “well… hello to you too, Dave!”

Dave didn’t say anything, he was just waiting for an answer from Adam. “Uhmm… I don’t know, man. Is she still up?” Adam asked awkwardly.

“We both know that Taylor doesn’t sleep at this hour. Stop making excuses, man!” Dave said exasperatedly.

“Would she want me to come?” Adam said anxiously.

Dave shrugged, “I don’t know. What I do know is she hasn’t taken you off from the list.”

Adam knew what kind of list Dave was talking about. It was a list of people that are allowed to enter Taylor’s house without the need for security team to confirm with her first.

“Is she alone or do I have to face a super villain?”

Dave just raised his eyebrow at Adam’s lame joke, “I wish you two would stop being so stubborn!” he mumbled and started walking away from Adam, “I’ll leave you to it then. The gate’s code is 011784. Have a good evening, Adam!” He called out before disappearing to the security’s quarters on the side of Taylor’s house.

Adam inhaled a deep breath, “okay, here goes nothing!”

He got off from his car and walked to Taylor’s gate. He punched the code Dave just gave him and the gate immediately sprang open.

As he started walking towards Taylor’s door, heavy rain suddenly poured from the sky and a thunder was rumbling somewhere in the horizon. Adam rolled his eyes, rain rarely happened in Los Angeles, and here he was about to see his ex-girlfriend for the first time since their breakup six months ago, at almost two in the morning, and the rain started pouring. How very Taylor Swiftesque the whole situation was. The girl loved pouring rain almost as much as she loved cats.

He quickly ran towards her porch. His blonde hair was wet and his shirt was almost soaked. He almost rang the bell, when he heard her voice coming from the music room.

“I’m still wearing your shirt to sleep… your smell is fading away… just like your smile… and I’m scared that we’re fading away too…” Taylor sang to the tune she was playing on the guitar. She stopped playing the guitar and suddenly screamed to no one in particular, “gah! This is pathetic!” followed by a loud thud.

Adam chuckled to himself. He could picture what was happening inside the house. He quickly rang the bell before cowardice changed his mind.

There was soft shuffle behind the door before Taylor opened the door with a confused look, “Adam? What are you… wait why are you soaking wet?”

Adam noticed Taylor’s appearance and he thought she never looked more beautiful than she was right now. Her blonde hair was pulled into a pathetic bun, leaving strays of hair here and there. Her rimmed-horn glassed perched on the bridge of her nose. Her face was free of make-up. And the best sight of all was she was hearing his shirt. The oversized shirt fell just above her thighs, leaving nothing much to Adam’s imagination.

He gulped before trying to mask his cloudy judgment, “Taylor, hi! Umm… Rain, you know,” he said pathetically, pointing to the sky.

“Well… come on in, let’s get you dry up,” she ushered him in and quickly closed the door behind them, cancelling the nature’s noise.

Taylor’s house was just like he remembered it, warm and had a welcoming smell, the combination of her favorite scented candle and her baking sessions in the kitchen. He noticed she still had the ‘you have successfully buried yourself inside my head’ frame on the wall by the doorway, and he smiled to himself.

Taylor grabbed a towel and one of his shirts from the hallway closet and handed them to Adam. “I still have some of your shirts… well, as you can see I’m wearing one of yours,” Taylor mumbled, embarrassed to be seen wearing his clothes.

“No worries. You can keep them. They look better on you anyway,” Adam teased.

Taylor quickly changed the conversation, “do you want something to drink? Or cookies? I just baked some gluten-free, dairy-free chocolate mint cookies.”

Adam smiled, “wouldn’t miss it!”

“Just make yourself comfortable, I’ll brew the water,” she said, pointing to her cozy living room before disappearing to the kitchen.

Adam dried himself off and changed his shirt. He then made his way to Taylor’s couch and noticed Olivia was sleeping on it. He scratched Olivia’s ear lovingly, and the feline purred, “how are you, Dibs? I missed you, did you know that? Now where’s your sister?” As if she knew Adam was looking for her, Meredith strutted to the room arrogantly and quickly jumped on his lap, startling him, “oh hello there Meredith!” he laughed when the grey Scottish Fold tried to divert Adam’s attention from Olivia.

While scratching both cats lovingly, Adam looked around at Taylor’s living room. There wasn’t that much change since the last time he was here, but he noticed some photo frames that used to house their pictures were no longer around. It made him sad.

He moved his gaze towards Taylor’s backyard where he knew one particular tree stood, and he caught a glimpse of its shadow. He smiled, he knew he made the right choice by picking an olive tree. It symbolized immortality as he had hoped their love would be, before it came to its premature end.

“It’s getting bigger,” Taylor’s voice pulled him out of reverie. She put down a tray containing a plate of cookies and two mugs of tew on the coffee table, before settling herself in an armchair. “Please help yourself,” she said, grabbing one of the mugs herself.

“Thanks!” He mumbled softly. He grabbed the cookie and took a bite. It was delicious, just like how he remembered it. “How are you, Tay?”

She shrugged, holding her mug tight as if her life depended on it, “I’m good, been working on some new songs. What have you been up to?”

“You know… the usual, gigs and gym.” He hated this small talk. It was awkward and strange. They weren’t supposed to be like this. “You haven’t been in LA for a while now, huh?”

“Yeah, there’s nothing here for me,” she said softly, there was a hint of sadness in her tone, but her face was still expressionless. Adam couldn’t read her, not like the way he used to anyway. “So what are you doing here, Adam?” Taylor asked curiously.

Adam looked up and stared at her beautiful blue orbs, “honestly… I miss you…. so much,” he said softly.

Taylor sighed, “Adam…”

“I know… I know! I know we said goodbye, but it didn’t change the fact that I still miss you… and I wish that we tried harder to make it work,” he said sincerely.

“We grew apart, Adam,” she reminded him, “and we did try to make it work.”

“Maybe we should’ve tried harder… I mean I loved you… I still love you, Taylor. I regretted that I let you go. I was out of my mind when I watched you in the arms of another man…”

Taylor cut him off, “that’s not fair, Adam! We broke up! You had no right bringing him up,” she said defensively.

Adam rubbed his face, “no, I know, and I’m sorry… But I need to know, are you dating him?”

Taylor hissed, “that’s none of your business, Adam.”

“Please just hear me out, okay? Just tell me am I too late? Are you happy with him, because if you do I’ll walk away now and I won’t bother you again.”

Taylor sighed and set down her mug on the table, “Tom and I… we’re not together anymore. It just didn’t work out.”

A wave of relief washed over Adam, and his eyes flashed a tiny spark of hope. “Can you give us a second chance, Taylor?” he said calmly.

“I don’t know, Adam! You can’t do this to me, you can’t just show up after six months of nothing and suddenly saying all the right things that I wanna hear,” without Taylor even realizing it, her voice started to raise, “it’s messing with my head… when I’m trying so hard to let you go.”

“Do you want to let me go, Taylor?” Adam asked. He was scared that he was losing this beautiful woman for real, that he was too late.

“I wanted to,” she whispered, “but you made it impossible for me to let you go,”

“Then how do we fix this? How do we find what had been lost?”

Taylor hesitated, “I don’t know if I want to do it, though.”

“Taylor...” he said exasperatedly. He suddenly stood up, startling Meredith, who was sleeping on his lap. Meredith walked away with a hiss, both Adam and Taylor ignored the feline. Adam started pacing back and forth, making himself and Taylor dizzy. “What are you so scared about?”

“I’m scared of another goodbye, Adam,” Taylor said as tears started spilling from her eyes, “we had this magical, beautiful thing. And I thought… I thought... we would last. Then everything fell apart. I’m hanging by a thread now, Adam! I can’t go through that again. I won’t!”

Adam scratched his beard frustratingly, he just didn’t know what else to say to convince Taylor. He still loved her very much and wanted her back. “Please, Taylor, it may be different this time around. We learned from our mistakes and we’ll do it differently. I want you back in my life. I want to be insanely happy with you again,” he pleaded.

“That’s very selfish of you! How about what I want?” Taylor challenged.

Adam challenged her back, “what do you want, Tay?”

Taylor was taken aback, “I… I don’t know what I want, Adam! All I know is I’m scared to say another goodbye to you of all people.”

“So you’d rather have two miserable people instead of taking a chance in having that magical, beautiful love again?” Adam asked incredulously.

Taylor closed her eyes and spoke calmly, “the feelings will go away eventually, Adam. And I’ll be fine, you’ll be fine too. I think… I think it’s better than going through this kind of heartache again.”

Adam’s jaws dropped, he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. How could Taylor, the queen of romance and happily ever after, became such a pessimist in love. Did their relationship damage her that bad, that she just couldn’t see what was real and worth fighting for?

“You know what, Taylor, I going to fight for us. What we had is special, and we can achieve greatness together. So I’m going to do all the fighting for the both of us until you’ll realize that we belong together,” Adam finally declared.

“Wai… What?” Taylor was taken aback with Adam’s sudden outburst.

“You heard me, Tay! I’ll do everything in my power to win you over,” he said confidently, becoming more determined by the minute. “Starting tomorrow, prepared to be wooed by yours truly,” he smirked pointed to his own chest.

Taylor couldn’t help but giggled at his boyish behavior. For the first time that night Taylor showed her exuberant self. She held her hands up in defeat, “okay,” she said simply. There was a tone of hope in her voice.

Adam was grinning stupidly, he leaned down to kiss Taylor’s cheek, “until tomorrow, have a good night, Taylor!” and he walked out of door, leaving Taylor to her own thoughts.

Taylor was right, magic did happen at 2AM. As he braced the rain, he was determined to make it work this time around. There was no way Adam Wiles would let go the magic that was Taylor Swift. Not this time, not ever.

Reckless Proposition, Epilogue

Note: So this is like the final final installment of Reckless Proposition. This epilogue is written as a window for the sequel I have in mind. I’m so in love with the life I’ve created within this Reckless Proposition series that I’ve been thinking of writing series of one-shots as a sequel for this series. I hope you guys still want to read them.

I’d like to make a disclaimer too, that I don’t really know much about Asperger’s Syndrome, and I only knew about Asperger’s Syndrome because I watched Parenthood and did a quick Google research on it. I hope I managed to capture the syndrome correctly. I didn’t mean to be disrespectful to people with Asperger’s Syndrome or other special needs by writing it, but special needs case like Autism are part of our daily lives, and it deserves to be acknowledged.

Another thing that I’d like to talk about was the fact that Adam and Taylor are real people and they’re not perfect. I’m trying to capture those basic human aspects into this fiction as a reminder to all of us, that even the best of us make mistakes and that we’re not perfect.

Please enjoy this epilogue!

XOXO - Angela -

------------

Many many years down the road…

It was a beautiful summer day. Taylor Swift was swaying gently on the swing in her porch. She was sipping an ice tea while looking intently at one particular olive tree. The sun was blazing hot, illuminating the tree with its golden rays, while the warm breeze swayed the branches and leaves softly. The tree had grown magnificently since her then boyfriend, Adam Wiles, planted it in that very spot more than 39 years ago.

Taylor never wanted to sell her first Los Angeles home because of the tree. In the end Taylor and Adam kept coming back to this house because of the many wonderful memories they had created in this house. The many nights they spent in the house when they were still dating before the breakup. That fateful night when Taylor decided to initiate a reckless proposition. The first few years of their marriage were spent in this house. It was the first home for their first two children. The home where Taylor always retreated to when she had a fight with Adam, Adam would then come to this house and they would have make-up sex by the fireplace. And of course there was the tree.

This house had witnessed so many of her life events, Taylor just couldn’t be part with it. Now that their nest became empty, this house was the perfect size for just the two of them. And they were back to where it all began.

Somewhere inside the house, the phone was ringing, pulling Taylor from her trains of nostalgia. She could hear Adam’s muffled voice answering the phone. They had been married for 37 years now, and they were still in love with each other, more than ever.

Taylor’s fingers were playing with her wedding band, a habit she developed whenever she was thinking about her blissful life with Adam, when Adam’s voice called out to her from inside the house, “Tay? It's baby time!”

Taylor's eyes lit up and she quickly went inside the house, “Sera’s in labor?” she asked her husband.

Adam nodded, “yes, Riley just called. Apparently the labor progresses quicker than they had anticipated. Sera's asking for you.”

Taylor smiled knowingly, “of course she is!”

“Let's go then!” Adam offered his hand to his wife and Taylor accepted it graciously.

The ride to the hospital was short and soon Taylor was on her youngest daughter’s side as she bravely endured the pain from the labor.

“Oh my God, Mom! It huuurrttsss…” 25-year-old Seraphine Swift-Wiles screamed when a contraction hit her, she squeezed both her mom and her boyfriend's hand.

Taylor rubbed Sera’s lower back to help ease her pain, “I know, honey, I know it hurts. But you're doing great, soon you will see your baby,” she said lovingly.

“What can I do, Ser? Do you need anything?” Riley, Sera's boyfriend, asked anxiously.

Taylor answered for Sera, as her daughter was struggling with another contraction, “you can get more ice chips, Riley, and maybe some energy bar? Sera needs to eat something.”

Riley nodded and started to let go Sera’s hand, when Sera pulled him back, “no, don't go, please! I need both of you here,” she begged.

Taylor secretly rolled her eyes, her youngest daughter could be so clingy. Being the baby in the family, Sera was used to get all the attention from her big brothers and sister. Taylor and Adam didn't help with the situation either as both of them were very protective of Sera. Taylor was pregnant with Sera when she was forty years old, and it was considered a high-risk pregnancy. Halfway through the pregnancy, Taylor was diagnosed with severe case of preeclampsia and Taylor had to undergo an emergency C-section when she was only 32 weeks pregnant with Sera. Sera had to stay in the NICU for more than a month before she was released from the hospital. Maybe it was because Sera’s early life struggles, or maybe it was because she was their fifth child that Taylor and Adam spoiled Sera rotten, without them even realizing it. They were less strict and more lenient with Sera than they were with their other four children, something that Taylor sometimes regretted to this very day, because Sera didn't grow up to be the independent woman Taylor hoped she would be.

Taylor was about to ask Riley to just go anyway, when Adam spoke up, “I'll go, honey! You two stay here with my baby.” He leaned to kiss Sera’s forehead, “you’re doing great, baby, I’m so proud of you!”

Taylor shot Adam a death look but Adam just mouthed a ‘what?’ to his wife before walking away from the room.

Adam made his way to the vending machines when he bumped into his son, Declan, who didn't pay any attention to his surrounding including his own father. “Hey Dex! You made it! Baby's not here th…”

“Mom! Where’s Mom? I need to talk to Mom! How come she's not answering her fucking phone?” Declan badgered, his eyes never met Adam’s.

Of all five Swift-Wiles children, Declan, the second born, was the most special one. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when he was around three. Declan was having a hard time communicating with people, even with Adam or his siblings. The only person he would want to talk to was Taylor, and only Taylor could handle his outbursts, panic attacks and obsessive compulsive behaviors. After years and years of therapy and lots of tears on Taylor and Adam’s part, Declan’s communication skill was improving. And it was during one of those therapy sessions that Taylor noticed Declan had inherited the music genes from his parents. Declan was a music genius and now he was the most sought after producer and songwriter in the world. From early on, Taylor and Adam kept telling Declan that his talents were bigger than his special needs, and that he could achieve anything he wanted in this world. His parents were Declan’s number one advocates. Declan still had difficulties in a lot of aspects in his life, but Taylor and Adam knew Declan would turn out to be a fine man. They had raised him well.

Adam was prepared for Declan’s outburst, they had been doing it for more than thirty years, he knew the drill. Adam put his hands on Declan’s shoulders, trying to meet his gaze, “hey buddy… buddy! Can you look at me? Breathe, please...”

Declan reluctantly looked at his father's eyes briefly, before looking away, “I want to talk to mom!” he spoke with a calm voice now, but there was still a panic tone.

“Your mom is with your sister right now, I'm all you've got” Adam said gently.

Declan became restless again, he started fidgeting with his clothes, “but I need to talk to mom! I want to talk to mom!” he demanded.

“Declan, Declan, calm down! Breathe, please, in and out… in and out… there like that. Now you can wait until your sister doesn't need your mother anymore, and you can talk to her then, or you can tell me what's bothering you this time?” Adam said firmly, leading Declan to the nearest waiting chairs.

Declan looked everywhere but his Dad’s eyes. “how did you know that you loved Mom when you started dating?” Declan blurted out.

Adam was taken aback. He didn't see a question like this would be coming from his eldest son, “uuhmmm… I don't know, I just felt it.”

“Yeah, but how do you know what you felt is love? Feeling is an abstract thing, how do you know for sure that it was love? And not just some infatuation or just lust?” Declan persisted.

Adam thought for a moment, the thing with Declan was everything had to be real and tangible, abstraction was not something he could comprehend, except when it came to music. “Hmm… you know when you write music, and you just know that it was the right tune or the right treatment for that particular song? You didn’t have an explanation of wh…”

Declan cut him off, “no! I always have an explanation of why I did things with my music...”

“Yes, I know. But before that though, before you played your music to other people, and you started explaining yourself. When it was just you and your instruments, and you could just hear the final song in your head, and you just knew that it was the direction you wanted to go? Love is something like that. There’s no explanation, you just know that you love that one particular person. Like there’s a voice in your head telling you that person is the perfect one for you…”

“There’s no voice in your head. If you start hearing voices in your head then you need to get yourself checked, because medically it’s impossible, it’s just crazy,” Declan cut Adam off again.

Adam was getting frustrated, there was one clear reason why Taylor was so much better at heart-to-heart talk like this, especially when it came to Declan, “yes you’re right, I’m just using an analogy here. My point is, when it comes to love, there’s no explanation, you just know. You just know you want to spend more time with that person, you just know you want to talk to her… or him… and hear her laugh, you just know you want to hold her hands whenever you get the chance, you just know that you want to make her happy because she makes you happy, you just know you want to do things together with her and only with her… That’s love. All the mundane little things that made up the big thing.”

Declan pondered for a moment, “I still want to talk to mom!” He said stubbornly.

Adam rolled his eyes, “can you wait, though? Your mom is still helping your sister with her labor. Are you calm now?”

Declan nodded. They sat there in silence. Two individuals who looked exactly the same, only age and the lack of beards on Declan’s face could tell them apart. Declan was the spitting image of his father, except for his eyes which took after Taylor’s blue orbs. “I think I love Kayleen,” Declan suddenly blurted out.

Adam looked up at his son, “the new singer we just signed?”

Declan nodded, “she’s amazing. Should I tell her that I love her?”

“Wait up, lad! You don’t want to scare her off. Why don’t you ask her out for a date first and see how it goes from there?”

“Why can’t I tell her? If she doesn’t love me back, why should I invest my time in going on a date with her?”

Adam tried so hard not to laugh at his son and ruined this father-son moment. This was the first time Declan expressed his interest in love. Taylor had tried to talk to him when Declan was in his teenage years, but he just looked at Taylor as if she came from another planet. Taylor tried again when Declan was in his twenties, but he never responded, she finally gave up. “That’s part of loving someone, Dex! There are steps you have to take before you can tell someone you love them, to make sure you are on the same page and the same vision about going forward with the relationship. On the olden days they call it dating.”

Declan scratched his head frustratingly, “why is so complicated? Why can’t I just tell someone that I love her?”

Adam thought for a moment, changing his strategy, “do you want to… like go to dinner with Kayleen?”

Declan shrugged, “yea sure!”

“Then how about you call her and ask her for dinner… What does she like to eat?” Adam suggested.

Declan raised his shoulder non-committedly, “I don’t know, pizza? We always have pizza at the studio.”

Adam rolled his eyes, “okay, how about you ask her to have dinner at Matteo’s, you know the Italian place that your sister likes to go?”

“Ok!” Declan pulled out his phone and started dialing Kayleen’s number, she picked up after a few rings. “Hi Kayleen! Do you want to go to have dinner with me tonight at Matteo’s?” Declan said straightforwardly. Adam let out a big sigh, his son definitely needed a lesson on how to woo a woman. “Okay great, I’ll see you later…” Adam tried to catch Declan’s attention and mouthed the words “pick you up at seven”, “I’ll pick you up at seven?” Declan said to the phone, “okay cool! See you later!”

Declan hung up, “she said okay. So what do we do now?” Declan said as he put his phone back in his pocket.

“Now, I’m going to help you get ready for your first date!” Adam said excitedly, “come on, let’s give this food to your sister and we’ll go!”

Few hours later, Adam was back to the hospital to find the rest of his family overcrowding Sera’s room. A healthy baby girl was born less than two hours ago and was cradled by Taylor as she swayed back and forth on the rocking chair. The rest of Taylor and Adam’s grandchildren, Andrea, Everly, Kiera and Raphael were circling Taylor and the baby, trying to take a glimpse of their new baby cousin.

Taylor and Adam’s other three children and their significant others were by Sera’s bedside, talking animatedly about raising kids to the new parents.

“How was Dex?” Taylor asked when Adam finished congratulating Sera and Riley.

“He’s doing great. Managed to convince him to put something other than grey shirt,” Adam said as he took his new granddaughter from Taylor’s embrace and started cradling the baby, “oh… hello there, beautiful young lady! I’m your grandpa,” he cooed.

“Dad, you practically wear grey shirts all the time! And you’re complaining about Dex’s grey shirts?” Iris, their firstborn, commented.

Adam feigned a shock, “I do not wear grey shirts all the time!” Taylor snorted. “Hey, you didn’t mind wearing my grey shirt, missy!” Adam teased Taylor.

Their kids groaned. “Dad, Mom, please don’t flirt in front of the children,” Oliver, one of their twin boys, spoke up, earning agreement from his siblings.

“I can’t help it if your mom is so gorgeous!” Adam winked at Taylor, making her blush. Even after all of these years, he still made her weak on the knees.

“Oh hush, Adam! Not in front of the children, remember?”

“I think grandma and grandpa are the sweetest couple ever!” chimed five-year-old Andrea.

“Oh thank you, miss Andrea! You are very sweet,” Taylor hugged her first granddaughter.

“I think Andrea is right. You guys are the most inspiring couple. If Oliver and I had half of what you guys have, then I would consider us very lucky,” Maverick, Oliver’s partner, said.

Oliver shoved his partner, “they already accepted you as son-in-law, Mav, you don’t have to suck up.”

“What? I’m just telling the truth!” Maverick said in defense.

“Okay… kids, break it up, please!” Adam rolled his eyes. No matter how grown up his children were, they still acted like real children sometimes. “Now, do we have a name for the little miss?” He asked the new parents and handed the baby back to her mother.

Sera looked up at her boyfriend and Riley nodded encouragingly. “Everyone, this is Calandra Aimee Wiles-Avery, we can call her Callie for short,” Sera announced.

Everybody was gushing and said hi to the baby. “That is a beautiful name, sweetie!” Taylor beamed, “oh my God, my youngest baby has a baby! I’m officially old!”

“Oh Mom, you’re not old! Wait until Isaac here have a baby of his own, then maybe… maybe you can start worrying about aging,” Iris nudged the other half of the twins.

“Hey! I’m happy with my single, non-monogamous life!” the young man glared at his sister.

“Don’t listen to your sister, Isaac! As long as you’re happy… and be responsible… that’s what matters the most for us,” Taylor tried to break the commotion before they became a war of mockery, but Isaac still stuck out his tongue to Iris.

“Alright kids, I think we’d better let Sera rest. It’s been a long day for her. The little ones are getting sleepy too,” Adam finally declared. Sera looked at her father gratefully.

The Swift-Wiles clan said their goodbyes to the new little family and another round of congratulations was offered, before they all went back to their respective residences with a promise that they would all come to have lunch at Adam and Taylor’s home on the weekend.

Later that night, it was just the two of them again. Adam was looking at the new pictures from earlier on Taylor’s phone. He had a big grin on his face, feeling beyond lucky that he and Taylor had built such a beautiful family together. Iris and her husband, Theo, had three beautiful, smart girls. Declan was going on his very first date with an amazing girl who he was clearly smitten with. Oliver was blissfully happy with Maverick and their adopted son, Raphael. Isaac... well… he was enjoying his young life and that was all that mattered. And finally Seraphine just gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl, officially making him a grandfather to five adorable grandbabies. Life couldn’t get any better than this.

“I’m so proud of you for helping Declan with his first date ever!” Taylor said as she came out from the bathroom. Even in her sixties, Taylor still looked gorgeous and graceful. Adam was a very lucky man indeed.

“Yeah, you helped the other four, it’s only fair that I got to help with one of them at the very least,” he smiled at his wife snuggled to his body.

“Yeah, but the other four were easier than Dex. You did good, Adam!” Taylor looked at the pictures on the phone and smiled at the picture of her family, sans Adam and Declan, they had taken earlier at the hospital. She made a mental note to have another family picture on the weekend with the whole family.

Adam kissed the top of her head, “no, we both did good.”

Taylor smlled, “aren’t you glad that I made that reckless proposition on my 27th birthday?”

“Very… very glad, Mrs. Wiles,” Adam smirked, “now what do you say, let’s get reckless again tonight?”

Taylor swatted his chest playfully, “oh Adam, you’re infuriating!”

“Right back at’cha!”

Reckless Proposition, Part 17

Note: I can’t believe that we’re at the end of this series. It’s been a very interesting 17 days, to say the least. When I started writing this fiction I had high hope that Tayvin would get back together, and I wrote this fiction as a therapy from Tayvin withdrawal, and it really helped. But now it seems that hope was just mindless dreaming. I don’t have anything against Tom Hiddleston, I think he’s a sweet guy, and Taylor seems happy with him (and that’s the most important thing!). But I’m just not ready to let go of Tayvin, my heart still broke for these two. Honestly I need more time before I’ll come to terms with the idea of Hiddleswift, if ever.

Thank you for reading this series, and for saying the nicest things. I really appreciate it. I hope that you’ve enjoyed this series as much as I enjoyed writing it. I love you!

A massive thank you to @tayvinfanfiction for publishing this series at the beginning. Thank you girls for doing what you do, you’ve done an outstanding job maintaining the blog for our daily Tayvin fictions fix! I hope people will still write about Tayvin, even though that ship has sunk. I know I would!

------------

By some sort of miracle and pure luck, Taylor and Adam had managed to keep their relationship under the radar. Taylor stayed mostly in Nashville or Reading, where it was relatively low key, and Adam flew in and out whenever he didn’t have any work commitments. Adam purchased a new secret house in Los Angeles, and they kept it as their base whenever Taylor had to be in Los Angeles, unknown to the paparazzi and the rest of the world. All the traveling and the secrecy had worn the two of them out, but they both determined to make it work this time, so they endured.

Every step was neatly calculated and every move was planned meticulously. They were never seen together and, unlike the last time, they never shared their pictures together on social media. As far as the world concerned, Taylor Swift and Adam Wiles were both single and not getting back together.

Taylor’s comeback had been the main focus for the past six months. Her Grammy’s performance was the most highly anticipated one and in return she gave an outstanding one. Three wins at the Grammy’s, including Song of the Year and Album of the Year, completed her big night. Taylor was over the moon and Adam couldn’t be more proud.

Naturally, people asked about the leave of absence, but Taylor smoothly said her well-rehearsed statement that she underestimated her own health and good six months worth of break was all she needed to get back in the game. The world didn’t seem to buy it but her Grammy’s performance and big wins overshadowed the whole situation. Before they knew it, she was back in her busy routine. She did try to cut down the number of her performances and public appearances, and tried to get as much downtime as possible. She wanted to spend more time with Adam and they needed time to plan the wedding.

It wasn’t easy planning a wedding involving two high profile individuals, especially when they were trying to keep it under the radar. A stack of NDAs had been involved, pseudo names had been used as covers and Taylor personally asked all the people in her wedding team to keep it confidential.

However, planning a wedding was like a second calling to Taylor, even if it was mostly done across the Atlantic. They had found this beautiful castle in the Isle of Bute that could accommodate their entire wedding party and secluded enough from the prying eyes of the locals. After they secured the venue, everything else just fell into place. Taylor had expected something would go astray, but it never did. Every planning down to the last details went smoothly and up to Taylor’s high standard. It was as if the universe had given its ultimate blessing to the couple.

And just like that, July sun greeted them with its warmest rays. Their wedding day was getting closer and the anticipation was really high on both sides. They both couldn’t wait to get married.

Taylor woke up on the morning of July the thirteenth with the biggest smile on her face. This was it. Today she would finally marry the love of her life. Only few more hours and she would be Mrs. Adam Richard Wiles.

She put on her glasses and reached for her phone to text Adam, but he already beat her to it.

Good morning, my soon-to-be-wife! Have fun playing dress up with the girls today. I’m going to wait for you at the altar later today. I’m the guy wearing the biggest stupid smile on his face, just in case you miss it. I love you. – Adam

Butterflies couldn’t stop fluttering inside Taylor’s stomach, and her cheeks were getting hurt from all the smiling. She quickly typed her reply.

And I’ll be the girl wearing white walking down the aisle. I can’t wait!!! I love you. – Taylor

It didn’t take long before her girlfriends burst into her room and their pampering session began.

“Hey Taylor, as your maid of honor, I have to ask you this, are you one hundred percent sure about marrying Adam? Do you need me to start revving up the getaway chopper?” Abigail asked her, as Taylor and her squads were all laying on the massage tables, getting bridal treatments from the masseuses.

Taylor laughed, “Thank you, but you don’t have to do that, Abs! I’m one hundred percent sure! He’s the one for me,” Taylor said dreamily.

“Aaaw… look at you all happy and in love. I’m so happy that you finally got here, Tay! Of all the people, you totally deserve it. Congratulations!” Selena said genuinely, followed by affirmation from the rest of the girls.

“Thank you, girls! You’re all the best!” Taylor beamed. She was thankful for the best friends any girl could ever ask for, they were more than her close friends, they were the sisters she never had.

A few hours later, just minutes before their cues to walk down the aisle, Taylor’s girls were fussing with Taylor’s dress and appearances. Smoothing the creases that didn’t exist on Taylor’s Reem Acra dress, perfecting the flawless curls framing Taylor’s face. Everybody was talking frantically at the same time. The girls were a nervous wreck, while on the contrary the bride was calm and composed.

Taylor almost exploded in excitement but she didn’t feel one bit of nervousness. She didn’t even care if there was actually a crease on her dress, all of those little things didn’t seem to matter anymore when she had a big real thing waiting behind those double doors she was about to walk through. “Relax, girls! Everything’s perfect. Even if it doesn’t, it’s okay,” Taylor laughed.

“You’re right, you’re right! We’re sorry! Everything’s perfect!” Karlie finally announced, halting all the movements around Taylor, “come one, girls, positions!” She commanded, and Taylor’s bridal party took their respective positions in front of Taylor.

Scott took Taylor’s right hand kissed the back of her hand. “You look absolutely beautiful, honey. I’m so proud of you!” Scott beamed at his eldest child.

Taylor leaned in to kiss her father’s cheek, “thank you, Dad! I love you!”

“I love you too, honey! Are you ready?” tucking Taylor’s right hand into his own hand.

“As I ever be!” Taylor beamed and grabbed her salmon peonies bouquet from Abigail.

One by one her bridesmaids disappeared into the double doors. Britanny, Ellie, Karlie, Selena, and finally it was Abigail’s turn. “See you at the other side!” she winked at Taylor and walked through the doors.

The music changed. The mini orchestra started playing the intro of Taylor’s own song, Buried. Scott squeezed Taylor’s hand lovingly, and as if in cue the double doors sprang opened. All the guests turned their heads to Taylor and Scott’s direction, and all eyes immediately fell on beaming Taylor.

Taylor’s red lips formed a sweet smile. Her eyes politely swept the guests standing in front of her, before it caught Adam’s sparkling green orbs at the altar. He held his breath when he saw how breathtaking Taylor looked that evening. Her smile grew bigger as Scott walked her down the aisle. Her blue eyes never left his green counterparts.

The string section finished her song when Taylor stepped on the altar. Scott gave Taylor’s hand to Adam, and he graciously accepted it. After she gave her bouquet to Abigail, she joined her other hand with Adam’s hand. They were face to face now, and Taylor could finally examine his dashing appearance, while Adam couldn’t stop admiring his beautiful bride, “you look absolutely breathtaking, babe!” he whispered. Taylor blushed and they were both grinning stupidly at each other.

“Dearly beloved, we have gathered here today to witness the union of Adam Richard Wiles and Taylor Alison Swift,” the Reverend began the ceremony. “Love is God’s gift to mankind, and today we’re going to witness the love union between this man and woman as they’re about to embark on an everlasting journey called marriage. Do you have your vows?” he asked Adam.

Adam nodded. He squeezed Taylor’s hands lovingly, before taking a deep breath, his gaze never left hers as he said his vows, “Taylor, since the beginning you have ticked the boxes I didn't think existed. You have opened up all the possibilities that I thought was too farfetched for my grasp, too wild for my imagination, too grand for my little heart to handle. But only with you that I could see those possibilities becoming parts of my future. Without both of us realizing it, you have shaped my future, since that first day I saw you in that killer green dress,” Adam smirked at the blushing Taylor while the guests laughed at his joke. “I thought you were the opposite of my type...” Taylor and the guests erupted into another laughter, “... But you are actually just what I needed. Nothing more, nothing less.” The guests were now letting out a blissful “aaaaw”, tears started pooling on Taylor’s eyes as she listened to Adam’s love declaration. “We have been through a lot, and half of them were rough patches, but loving you is never rough, loving you is always easy. You are an incredible, beautiful woman, and I'm so lucky that you chose to love me for the rest of our lives. I promise you, before God and in front of our loved ones here, that I will continue to love you every minute for the rest of our lives. I love you, Taylor! You are my happy ending,” Adam finished his vow and all the guests were sighing in contentment.

Taylor closed her eyes and let the happy tears spilled from her eyes. She opened her eyes and stared lovingly into Adam’s eyes, “Adam, as you know I’m the most calculated and controlling person you’ll ever meet,” Taylor began, “but you... you made me reckless. I was reckless to fall helplessly in love with you in the span of ten days. I was reckless to leave my fragile heart at your mercy. I was reckless to propose all the things that were out of my characters,” Taylor gave Adam a meaningful look, and Adam’s smile turned into a knowing grin, “I was reckless to ignore all of my fears about us. And I was reckless to say yes to your proposal, “ she paused and took a breath, “but when it comes to you, it's okay to be reckless, because I know without a doubt that our love doesn't need any protection or being treated like a fragile little flame. Our love is strong enough to hold its own ground and to endure whatever storms and turbulences coming its way. We have been through a lot to get to this point, it’s not easy and tragic, but I believe that it only made us stronger and invincible. I love you, Adam. You are my first real love, and it’s not perfect, but I know with all my heart that it’s worth fighting for. And I promise you that I will always fight for us from this day forward until the end of time,” Taylor finished her vow, still gazing intently at Adam. Both visions were blurry from the tears pooling on their eyes.

“Do we have the rings?” The Reverend pulled everyone from the daze.

Charlie quickly pulled the rings from his pocket and handed them to the Reverend. Adam quickly wiped the tears with his hand, while Selena handed Taylor a tissue to wipe her tears.

The Reverend took Taylor’s ring and gave it to Adam, “Adam, you may put this ring on Taylor’s finger and repeat after me: with this ring, I, Adam Richard Wiles, take you, Taylor Alison Swift, to be my lawfully wedded wife.”

“With this ring, I, Adam Richard Wiles, take you, Taylor Alison Swift, to be my lawfully wedded wife,” Adam said firmly and slipped the ring on Taylor’s finger, the diamond band joined the emerald ring with a soft clink. Taylor smiled giddily at the sight of the two rings on her finger.

The Reverend gave Adam’s ring to Taylor, “and Taylor, you may do the same with Adam, and repeat after me: with this ring, I, Taylor Alison Swift, take you, Adam Richard Wiles, to be my lawfully wedded husband.”

“With this ring, I, Taylor Alison Swift, take you, Adam Richard Wiles, to be my lawfully wedded husband,” Taylor recited and slipped the band on Adam’s long finger. They both smiled when both rings were now settled beautifully on their respective fingers.

The Reverend smiled and finally announced, “I now pronounced you husband and wife! You may kiss your bride, Adam!”

Without hesitation, Adam pulled Taylor closer, cupped her face and claimed her lips, kissing her deeply and passionately. The guests erupted into a loud cheer and applause, phones and cameras were clicking furiously to capture the moment. In the front row, Andrea wiped the tears that spilled on her cheeks; smiling proudly at her daughter and son-in-law.

After what it seemed like forever, Taylor and Adam reluctantly broke apart. They had the rest of their lives to kiss each other, for now their first kiss as husband and wife was mind-blowing enough for the two of them, it would be perfected in time.

The rest of the evening was blurry to both Taylor and Adam. They danced a lot, had few glasses of champagne, ate the delicious wedding cake and took tons of pictures with their phones. Mostly they were drunk in love, getting lost into each other’s eyes, laughter and smiles never left their faces.

As the evening grew darker Taylor and Adam gave a surprise performance for their guests. They sang together for the first time in public. It was the only time on that day that Adam felt nervous, he and Taylor have sung together on various occasion of their private moments, but he had never had a duet with Taylor in front of an audience. Taylor was used at this, not him. Taylor squeezed his hands reassuringly, before starting to sing the first verse of Adam’s song, This Is What You Came For. The one they secretly wrote together.

It wasn’t a perfect performance in Adam’s opinion, he entirely blamed himself because Taylor sang flawlessly, but he didn’t care. He was glad that they did it together on their wedding day. It was surely a moment he would never forget for the rest of their lives. The videos of their performance recorded by their guests would be the treasures he would cherish forever.

Elated by the rush of their performances, Taylor and Adam sat down at the main table to catch a breath and stole some moments alone, while the rest of the guests were busy dancing to the beat Burns was playing.

Taylor smiled at her phone as she flipped through the pictures they took that day. “So should we do it now?” Taylor asked Adam nervously.

Adam looked at her and pulling out his phone from his pocket, “sure! Let’s do it!”.

They had agreed to personally announce their union at the end of the night on social media. They wanted the fans to find out from them, not from some trashy tabloids. They both loved their fans dearly and wanted to deliver the big news right to everyone’s timelines. Official statement was ready to be released to the media as soon as Taylor and Adam posted the announcement.

Taylor asked one of her security guards to find Tree and tell her that they were about to post the announcement, before finding the perfect photo to post.

She finally settled with the picture from the ceremony where they had their first kiss as husband and wife, while Adam opted for the close up picture of him and Taylor taken by the photographer after the ceremony. They were both wrapped in each other’s arms, getting lost in each other’s eyes, Taylor had her left hand on Adam’s shoulder, both her engagement ring and wedding band was full on display, the golden sunset completed the picture perfect moment.

“Are you ready?” Taylor asked Adam when she was finally satisfied with the edit.

Adam nodded, “on the count of three. One… two… three!” And they both hit the post button on their respective Instagram accounts.

“I’m pretty sure we just crashed the internet,” Adam laughed. As if on cue their phones went into buzzing frenzy. Notifications from all of their apps kept popping up. Both Adam and Taylor laughed, staring at their vibrating phones, before turning it off.

“I love you, husband!” Taylor said and leaning for a kiss.

Adam smiled, loving the word on Taylor’s lips, “I love you too, wife!” and they shared a passionate kiss, the one that awakened the butterflies in their stomachs and left them lightheaded.

They broke the kiss when the need of air was getting too much. Adam smiled lovingly at his bride, “now what do you say, let’s ditch this party and set off for paradise?”

Taylor broke into grin, “I thought you’d never asked, Mr. Wiles.”

Reckless Proposition, Part 16

Note: Just a little Tayvin fluff, we all need some. Two more chapters left in this series.

------------

Taylor and Adam had few hours to themselves before Taylor’s family was due to arrive at her farmhouse. They decided to settle in the kitchen, enjoying Taylor’s freshly baked double chocolate cookies and some teas. Taylor never realized when she started adopting the British tea culture, but she stopped taking milk with her cookies nowadays and had a collection of the best tea in the world stocked up in the pantry.

They quickly caught up with their lives for the past six months. They fell into easy conversations as if the past six months hadn’t been spent apart from each other. They took the time to relearn the other’s habits and drink them in like there was no tomorrow, like the way her eyes lit up when she animatedly told him about the latest cats’ antics, or the way the word ‘babe’ rolled out effortlessly from his lips. They were still the same old Taylor and Adam, the ones who fell recklessly in love in the span of ten days.

Every minute or two, Taylor’s eyes were drawn to the green ring now perched elegantly on her left ring finger. It was too distracting, she just couldn’t stop admiring it.

“I did good with the ring, didn’t I?” Adam teased when he caught Taylor looked at her ring finger for the millionth times that afternoon.

Taylor blushed, embarrassed to be caught in action, “you did, babe! It’s just really gorgeous!” Taylor leaned on over the counter and kissed Adam sweetly. It was a light kiss yet it made both of them dizzy. “So maybe we should keep everything private, for the time being?” Taylor spoke after she came back to her senses, “well… preferably until the wedding… Not that I’m ashamed of our relationship or anything…” she rambled.

Adam grabbed her hands reassuringly, immediately putting a stop to her train of worries, “sure, babe! I want to make it right this time, so I agree, let’s just keep it to ourselves as long as possible before the whole world starts naming our children.”

Taylor smiled at the mention of their children, “I’ll just get a chain so I can keep the ring on my neck whenever I’m out in public.”

“Already on it, babe! I have the chain somewhere in my bag,” Adam grinned, proud of his accomplishment.

“Well… well… well… aren’t you Mr. Organized!”

“I learned from the best,” he smiled charmingly at Taylor. “So when do you want to have the wedding? I’m fine with marrying you tomorrow at the City Hall, but I want you to have a wedding of your dream,” Adam said seriously.

Taylor gave it a thought before finally saying, “let’s have it on summer, in Scotland.”

Adam’s eyes lit up, “seriously? You want that?”

Taylor smiled, “yes. Hopefully, there will be less paps in Scotland than here in the States. Plus I want to see you wearing a kilt,” Taylor smirked, dirty thought had already filled her head as she tried to imagine her man in kilt.

Adam grinned, “I’d like that. Can we keep it simple and intimate? Just families and few of our friends?”

Taylor nodded in agreement, “sure, let’s keep it under 50 guests, yeah?”

“Perfect,” Adam leaned in to steal another kiss from his fiancée.

Taylor loved how effortless the whole talk about their wedding. It just felt right, there was no single doubt creeping through her minds, like it usually did. No anxiety, no fragility, just a serene feeling that they were forever, they would never break.

“One more thing, Tay,” Adam gazed lovingly into Taylor’s eyes, “nobody quits! No matter what happens in our marriage, nobody quits. When the gets get rough, and it will get rough, we have to work on in and sail it through, okay?”

Taylor nodded thoughtfully, “if one of us ever slip, we tell the other, no matter how hurtful it is. We tell the other before it becomes irreparable, then we forgive and forget.”

“We have to keep on dating. We put our marriage and ourselves first, above anything else, including our children. At the end of the day it will be just you and me, I don’t want us to ever become a stranger to one another,” Adam added.

Taylor smiled, “looks like we just written our marriage rules, how very married of us.”

Adam chuckled, “is there anything else you want to add, babe?”

Taylor shook her head, “I can’t think of anymore right now, I guess we’ll just add more as we go?”

“Sure, we have the rest of our lives to figure this out. We can take our time.”

“I’d like to talk to you about my comeback, though…” Taylor became serious once again.

Adam perked up, “yeah?” he encouraged her.

“I feel like I’m ready to go back. They asked me to come and perform at the Grammy’s… words on the street I’m up to some nominations even though I practically abandoned my last album…” Taylor trailed off, her mind started wandering to her tragic miscarriage. Adam grasped her hands reassuringly, snapping Taylor away from her wandering thoughts, “anyway… I thought it’d be a perfect stage for a comeback. What do you think, babe?”

“I think you couldn’t ask for a better stage, but only do it when you’re 100% sure about it. It is a big stage and there will be tons of cameras waiting. All eyes will be on you and they will ask questions, off the record and on the record. I’m sure you can handle them, but it’s not gonna be easy, Tay,” Adam said in concerned tone.

“Are you saying I shouldn’t do it?” Taylor suddenly became defensive.

Adam shook his head, “that’s not what I’m saying. Whether it’s at the Grammy’s or on the streets, people will ask questions anyway. I’m just saying you have to be prepared. I’m gonna support you no matter what, if you need me to be there, I’ll be there, whatever you need. We’re in this together, okay?”

Taylor nodded, “yeah… I’m sorry… I was just…”

“I know,” Adam squeezed her hand again. Taylor smiled lightly, and they both ate their cookies in comfortable silence.

“I need to ask, how are you these days? You know… Mika wise?” Adam spoke, there was a loud pang in his heart when he said the baby’s name.

Taylor looked up, Adam was expecting a panic attack and he was ready for it, but Taylor looked serene. “I’m okay, Adam, really. I can’t change what happened, and I wish it hadn’t happened, but I’ve accepted it. I will always remember him... or her, but I’m no longer sad about what happened,” Taylor said softly, “if any consolation, what happened made me stronger and I don’t know… wiser, I guess? I’m not blaming anyone, I’m not asking why, I just accept that some things just happened and it’s out of my control. So yeah... I’m okay.”

Adam smiled genuinely, “it’s okay if you want a good cry every now and then, just let me know, okay?”

“You too. We’re in this together, right?”

“Always, babe,” Adam said firmly, leaning in to kiss Taylor.

“So how are we going to tell my parents about the engagement? We have about thirty minutes before my parents are here,” Taylor said when she looked at oven’s clock, realizing that it was almost noon.

Adam just shrugged, “your parents already knew, babe. I went to Nashville last week and talked to them, I got their blessings and all.”

A huge grin broke in Taylor’s face, warm and fuzzy feelings fluttered in her stomach, “you’re incredible, have I told you that?”

Adam mirrored Taylor’s grin, “I know what your parents mean to you. And one day when our daughters find the right men to spend the rest of their lives with, I would want those guys to show us the same courtesy.”

“So earlier you mentioned six noisy blonde kids. That’s a lot of sex we’re gonna have before we’ll have them… we might need to start practicing now,” Taylor said seductively.

Adam perked up, “we still have twenty more minutes, that’s more than enough for a practice,” he grinned.

Taylor laughed, “hold up, Mr. Wiles! I don’t want my parents to ever walk on us,” she shuddered with the thought.

Adam growled, “you’re such a tease, Swift!”

Taylor looked at him lovingly, “tonight, okay? You can have your way with me all you want, I’ve missed you so much.”

“I’ve missed you too, Taylor. I’m so glad you said yes and I get to call you my fiancée,” he smiled.

Taylor loved birthdays, she’d had many wonderful birthdays in her life, but she knew the best was yet to come. Her 28th birthday was just the beginning of many great birthdays she would have in her life.

They spend the rest of the day falling into conversations about their future. It was easy and it didn’t scare any of them. Taylor’s family and friends were delighted that these two lovers finally found their way back to each other. They couldn’t wait to witness the greatness these two would make together. And later that night when all of the guests had excused themselves to their respective bedrooms, Taylor and Adam celebrated their reunion in the most passionate way. Everything was back to the way it should be. All was well.

Reckless Proposition, Part 15

Note: So I think I should’ve made myself clear earlier, as many people thought that the last part was the end of the series. There will be few more chapters before it’s the end. The last few chapters have been tough, I know, it broke my heart too writing them, but it just needed to happen. I hope you find this chapter enlightening. Enjoy!

------------

Taylor decided to move back to Reading, Pennsylvania. Her childhood castle, where she was the princess and would always live happily ever after with a charming prince. Her magical kingdom, where seven dwarves lived behind the meadows and fairies dwelled inside a hollow tree. The place where her dreams never shattered. The place where Adam never set his foot on.

She knew she made the right decision by moving back to Reading. She bought a quaint farm at the outskirt of town, with her own private woods and little stream at her backyard.

She got reacquainted with her old childhood hobby, horse riding. Maybe she should’ve listened to her mother and chose horseback riding as a career. She wouldn’t have been as famous as she had been right now, but at least her life wouldn’t be under constant microscope lens.

Taylor did love horse riding, and it was during those moments when she was riding Lightning, her black Arabian Horse, that she started healing. The way the wind blew against hear ears as if it carried away her past into nothingness. The way she raced against herself as if she was leaving behind her ghosts. And when she laid down in the meadows after an exhilarating ride and looked at the blue sky, it was when she could see and hear her thoughts clearly.

She started healing with the same autumn wind that healed her when she was thirteen and didn’t have friends at school. The air was crisp and the leave colors were starting to change into red. Her love and hate color. This time around she felt that the color represented the feeling love. The love she had for Adam, the one she would always keep locked inside her heart, and the love she would forever have for their unborn child. It was a healthy feeling, and denying it only made her disappear.

She went down the stream just before the Halloween and wrote some of her thoughts on her notebook.

Mika, the one that was always meant to be meant to be in the sky meant to be forever in my heart meant to be loved meant to be the proof of love

She ripped the paper off from the notebook and floated it in the river. The steady cold stream carried it away and she watched it disappear from her views.

She finally accepted that just because you loved someone or something didn’t necessarily mean you would always have it. Sometimes you just had to keep the love to yourself, and that was enough, and you could choose to be happy.

December chills blew and Taylor was finally ready to come back to her old life. She had invited her family and friends to stay over in her farm to celebrate her birthday. She didn’t invite Adam but somehow she knew that he would show up for her birthday.

And that was how she found him on the day of her 28th birthday. She had taken an early morning ride with Lightning. The snow was just the right thickness for a ride. On the ride back she noticed his gigantic figure awkwardly riding one of her horses, Majesty.

Of all her horses in the stable of course Adam had to choose the white one, how prince charming of him. Taylor rolled her eyes.

“Are you sure you can ride a horse?” Taylor called out when she was in close proximity to Adam.

Adam was busy watching his horse’s steps to notice Taylor was approaching him, he was taken aback by her appearance, “oh hi,” he greeted awkwardly, “you know, I don’t think I can, I underestimated how difficult it is to ride a horse,” he said embarrassed.

Taylor frowned, “it’s not wise to horse riding in the snow if you can’t even ride a horse in the first place.”

Adam shrugged, “yeah well… I had to chase you somehow,”

Taylor met his eyes for the first time, “hi,” she smiled at him.

Adam held his breath. She couldn’t look more beautiful than she was right now, with her riding attire, her face was free of make-up, and her perfect posture. Her face looked serene and she looked healthier than the last time he saw her, the winter’s cold brought out the natural blush on her cheeks. “Hi! How are you?” he finally said.

Taylor chuckled, “I’m great. Gained few pounds, but who cares?”

“You look really great, Tay,” Adam said genuinely.

“Thanks! So do you. Well… except for the fact that you couldn’t handle your horse,” she teased when Adam’s horse was getting restless.

Adam groaned, “yeah I’d better get off from this horse, before she threw me off,” he hopped off the white horse and tried to hold it back with the rein.

Taylor laughed, “what are you talking about? Majesty is a very elegant lady, aren’t you, girl?” she said while caressing the horse’s neck. The horse calmed down with the touch of its master.

Adam rolled his eyes, “of course she listened to you.”

“Come on, let’s get out of this cold,” she said. Adam walked beside Majesty, pulling the rein to lead the beautiful creature, while Taylor rode her horse slowly next to Adam.

“What’s with the horse riding?” he asked curiously as they made their way back to the stable.

“Did I never tell you? I used to ride horse competitively when I was little, Mom wanted me to be a horseback rider,” she explained.

“Huh! Just another point on your long list of talents!” he said impressively.

Taylor blushed and mumbled a thanks. He always held a power over her. A lot of things had changed Taylor over the course of six months. She was much wiser and had more zen than she was when they parted ways in June, but Adam’s generous compliments still made her weak in the knees.

“This place is really gorgeous, Tay! I don’t know… it has some kind of indescribable magic!” Adam spoke as his eyes swept Taylor’s expansive property. The land was covered in white snow dusts and the woods were barren, there was a puff of white smoke coming out from the farmhouse’s chimneys. It was a view that came out straight from a children’s storybook.

“I know, right? This place made your imagination runs wild. You should’ve listened to the stuffs I’ve written since I got here. Not to brag or anything, but I think it’s pure magic,” Taylor boasted herself proudly.

“Looking forward to it!” Adam grinned again.

They were approaching the stable and Taylor got off from Lightning with a loud huff. A stable boy walked to her and took over the horses’ reins. Taylor caressed both horses lovingly before they were whisked away.

“So I have a gift for you,” Adam said once the horses were inside the stable and they were alone once again. He pulled out a rolled paper with a simple blue bow from the inside pocket of his jacket. He gave the paper to Taylor, “Happy Birthday, Taylor!” He smiled.

Taylor looked at the rolled paper in her hands confusedly, “thank you, Adam! You shouldn’t have!” she said politely.

“Open it, please!” Adam grinned. He was as giddy as a five-year-old.

Taylor nodded and slowly untied the bow, before unrolling the paper. Her eyes scanned the paper. It was a beautiful illustration of an olive tree. There were big bold gold letters, which formed SWIFT – WILES Family Tree, sitting on the top of the tree. Her family’s names were written on the left branch, whereas the right side of the tree bore the names of Adam’s immediate family. Their own names were ‘carved’ side by side on the main trunk, and underneath their names were few little olives with space to put on some names. The first olive was already filled with ‘Mika Swift-Wiles’.

Taylor traced Mika’s name with her finger gently, before looking up at Adam. “What is this, Adam?” She said confusedly.

“I’m all in, Taylor!” Adam said firmly as he looked deeply into her blue eyes, “marriage, children, big house with fort and castle in the backyard, soccer games, ballet recitals, growing old and saggy… I’m all in. I don’t want to spend another day not being with you, because they suck big time! I don’t want someone else to comfort you when you’re feeling low, I want it to be me. I don’t want you to battle your fears, insecurities and sadness alone ever again. You shouldn’t be alone and I don’t want you to be alone. I’m happy without you, but you make me the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life, and I want to always be that happy for the rest of my life. It took me a while to realize that it’s you and it’s always been you, Taylor. I want nothing more than to have six noisy blonde children with you. You are the mother of my children and the love of my life.” Adam inhaled a long breath; his tone became darker, “it’s tragic that we had to go through a terrible loss to open my eyes. Losing Mika made me realize that I do want him or her and his future brothers or sisters. Once I stumbled into this picture of you with a little girl with blonde hair and green eyes on Tumblr, and I keep thinking if Mika were a girl, she would’ve grown into a beautiful girl with curly blonde hair and green eyes. She would have been chatty and perfect. It kills me that we will never get to hear what her voice would be like or what color her eyes would turn into…” he choked, tears were now pooling in Adam’s eyes, while tears had already flooding out of Taylor’s blue eyes without her even realizing it and a mean to stop them.

“I… I didn’t know you felt that way about Mika, Adam, you should’ve told me. I would’ve helped you,” Taylor whispered. Her voice was trembling, her whole body was trembling. All of those emotions she tried so hard to bury deep inside her heart were rushing back, filling every inch of her with nothing but love for the man standing in front of her. It was a point of no return.

Adam rubbed his eyes and nose, wiping away the tears, “we should’ve helped each other,” Adam said, “we should’ve mourned and healed together like any other parents who have lost their children. It’s a mistake that we have to carry for the rest of our lives, but let’s not make the same mistakes again. So what do you say Taylor? Say yes to us? Let’s have our own version of forever and ever?”

A black velvet box came out of nowhere and now sitting on Adam’s hand, a ring with single solitaire emerald perched elegantly in the middle. The morning sunlight hit the gemstone and it glistened magnificently.

It caught Taylor’s blurry eyes, she wiped her tears with the back of her hand and tried to control herself. “I’m scared, Adam...” she whimpered, “but I’m just gonna be reckless and take a leap of faith.”

Adam’s face lit up when he heard what Taylor was saying, “are you saying yes?” he asked uncertainly.

Taylor grinned, “yes, let’s be one of those disgustingly happy married people!”

Reckless Proposition, Part 14

TAYLOR WAS AIRLIFTED OUT OF HOSPITAL

Two days after Taylor Swift was rushed to the hospital after her performance at Billboard Music Awards 2017 on Sunday night, she was discharged and was airlifted out of Desert Springs Hospital to McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas, where she immediately boarded a private jet.

Swift's rep released a statement regarding her hospitalization, citing the pop queen was suffering from dehydration and exhaustion.

During Swift’s stay at the hospital, Calvin Harris, who dated the singer last year before calling it quit in May 2016, was seen coming in and out of the hospital every day. Rumors of the two were getting back together have been swirling since Harris was seen leaving Swift’s Los Angeles home back in February. Swift’s latest album, Bare, which consists of thirteen love songs, is also rumored was about the DJ. Both reps have yet to confirm about these rumors.

------------

Taylor Swift @taylorswift13 Ÿ May 26 I decided to take indefinite leave of absence from music. I’m sorry. I hope you’ll understand.

--------------

“Two out of ten pregnancies ended in miscarriage. Usually it happened before twelve weeks. It was no one’s fault. It was just natural selection, only the strongest embryo would grow into a healthy baby,” the doctor had said. How could she, the Taylor Swift, become the statistic? Why couldn’t she for once get her turn in happy ending?

Taylor was in the darkest place she had ever been in her entire life. She was suffocated; her heart shattered into tiny pieces and she didn’t know how to put it back together; the pain was numbing she couldn’t feel anything else; she was walking on eggshells, ready to crack and tumble anytime.

Physically she was fine and functioning. It was when she was left alone with her thoughts that darkness took over. She was not ready to talk to anyone. Not her family, not her girlfriends and definitely not Adam. And they respected her decision, as worried as they might be, they knew Taylor would talk to them once she was ready.

She stayed in her parents’ house in Nashville to recover after her D&C procedure. Spending her days mostly getting lost in the woods around the property. Other days she just wrote songs, painful, heart wrenching and mostly dark songs about her unborn baby. She replayed the first song she wrote for the baby, the one she recorded on her phone after she came back from her first doctor’s appointment, over and over again. It was painful, yet it brought her a little peace, knowing that for a short period of time she was truly happy and excited to become a mother.

She felt silly for falling apart like this. After all, medically speaking it was not a baby yet. It was just a fetus, as big as a bean. But losing someone you love, no matter the size or state of being, was hard. Losing someone who was literally part of you, your child, was indescribable. There were no words.

Love was the only feeling she had for this little human. And this kind of unconditional love was the one that broke her apart.

Her girlfriends stopped by every now and then, and so did Adam. Whenever he finished with his gigs he immediately flew to Nashville to be with Taylor. Sometimes they talked about nothingness, other times they just sat at her parents’ porch watching the sunset without saying anything.

After about a month, Nashville was getting too much for Taylor. Her apartment, her childhood home and her other properties had too much memories of Adam… and their baby. She just knew she had to get away from all of it before she completely broke apart without any hope of coming back. She needed to be alone, to heal herself.

Her mother completely disagreed, worried that she would completely lose her daughter if Taylor was left to be alone. But Taylor insisted that she needed to do this and she promised that she would come back. Andrea finally relented.

One night at the end of June, Taylor and Adam were at their usual sunset watching spot. It was the most beautiful summer day, the warm breeze brushed their skin lightly, the sun was golden and the cloudless sky bore the perfect hue of tangerine.

Adam had just flown in earlier that day from a gig at Vegas. His manager wasn’t happy with the fact that he spent so much time in Nashville and not actively making new music at the studio. Adam just ignored him completely, Taylor was more important than new music. He could release new music anytime, but at that very moment Taylor was his number one priority.

“I was going to tell you…” Taylor suddenly said, her eyes never left the golden sunset in front of them.

Adam turned his head to Taylor, “Tay, you don’t have to explain…”

Taylor cut him off, “no, I do. You have a right to know, Adam.”

Adam nodded, “okay, go on.”

Taylor took a deep breath and began explaining herself, “I was going to tell you that night… that night…” she choked, “you know… after the BMA. I never wanted to hide it from you.”

“I know, Tay, I know you won’t,” he said gently.

A single lonely tear rolled on Taylor’s cheek, “I had known for three weeks. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, but I just needed time to figure out what I wanted first,” she whispered.

Adam choked, “were you… were you thinking about terminating the baby?”

Wiping her tears away, Taylor shook her head, “you know I could never do that, Adam. I just needed time to… come to terms, I guess. You know I wanted babies with you… but not like that… you know what I mean? Not when we were still complicated.” Taylor took a deep breath, “I didn’t admit it at first, but I have loved our baby since I found out, I knew I want it with or without you.” She finally turned her head and face Adam. Her blue orbs filled with sadness and pain.

Adam reached over and grabbed Taylor’s hand, “you will be a great mother, Taylor. Maybe not now, maybe not with this baby, but one day you will. You heard what the doctors said, you’re still young, we can always try again. Maybe now is just not the right time yet,” he said genuinely.

Taylor shook her head again and pulled her hand away from Adam, hugging herself over the chest protectively, “don’t say something when you don’t mean it, Adam, “ she said defensively.

“I’m serious, Tay, if a baby is what you want, I’ll give it to you.”

“No, Adam!” Taylor raised her voice, getting frustrated by the man sitting next to her, “a baby is not something you just give. I don’t want to have a baby with someone who doesn’t want it. I don’t want you to resent me for the rest of your life for doing something you didn’t even want in the first place! I told you, Adam, it’s okay to want different things.”

Adam buried his face into his hands, “you’re right, Tay! I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…”

Taylor took his hands, “I’m sorry too, Adam.”

They sat in comfortable silence until the last ray of lights disappeared behind the woods. They watched the sky turned from beautiful hue of orange, pink and purple into dark blue, and eventually pitch black. They knew it was the end of their relationship. It was beautiful like the cotton candy sky they had just witnessed, but now it was just dark. Tayvin was the story of the past, now it was just Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, two broken souls.

“I will be moving somewhere, please don’t look for me,” she finally said, “I will be coming back eventually, and we’ll meet again, but for now I need some time alone. Like really alone.”

Adam nodded, “I understand,” he said reluctantly.

“Another thing…” Taylor hesitated.

“Yeah?”

Taylor looked at Adam’s eyes, “I want to name the baby, I just thought maybe… you have any ideas, something unisex, since we don’t know the gender…” Taylor choked on her words, couldn’t continue her thoughts.

Adam gave it a serious thought, “how about Mika?” he suddenly said, gazing at Taylor’s eyes, “it’s the short version of Michael or Mikayla… you know the angel?”

“Mika…” Taylor let the name rolled on her tongue, she smiled and nodded to Adam, “I love it.”

Adam raised his tea mug to the air, “Mika,” he said softly. Taylor also raised her own mug and whispered the baby’s name, before clinking their mugs together. Taylor could have sworn there was a lone star in the dark sky twinkling as they clinked the mugs.

They parted ways with a quick friendly hug without a saying a single word. There was nothing left to say between these two. Taylor knew that they were really over this time, and slowly she started learning to let go the amazing person that was Adam Richard Wiles.

Reckless Proposition, Part 13

When Taylor didn't go back to her seat after her performance, a frown appeared on Adam’s forehead. But he just shrugged it off quickly, thinking that maybe she had some backstage interviews. It wasn’t until her first nomination, Top Female Artist, was up that he knew something was off. The presenter, John Legend, announced Taylor’s name as the winner. The audience erupted into a deafening applause, Adam expected that Taylor would walk out from the backstage, but instead John Legend said to microphone, “unfortunately Taylor can't accept the award herself, so I will be accepting the award on behalf of Taylor. Congratulations, Taylor!” John said before the lights went out and they went into commercial break.

Heavy murmurs about Taylor’s whereabouts were soon filled the entire arena. Adam quickly pulled out his phone and Googled her name.

BREAKING NEWS: Taylor Swift was rushed to the hospital right after her performance at Billboard Music Awards 2017.

Taylor Swift was seen leaving T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, through the back door right after her performance at Billboard Music Awards 2017. She made no comment as she was rushed into an awaiting car and drove off.

We can confirm that Swift arrived at Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center shortly after through the ER entrance.

The hospital is now heavily guarded by Swift's security team. No official statement has been released.

Adam quickly got off from his seat and made his way to the exit door. Charlie, who was seated on the back, saw him and immediately caught up with him. “Dude, you're going there right now, you'll be swarmed by paps!” Charlie warned him, trying to halt Adam, having read the news himself.

“Either you help me or you stay the hell out, Charlie!” Adam said angrily, accelerating his pace.

“Aahh… shit! I'll call the car, just stay put!” Charlie said as he made the call to Adam’s driver.

Adam, on the other hand, was trying to get hold of Tree but her line was busy. He furiously flipped through his contact and dialed the number of Taylor’s head of security team, it was also busy. He tried to contact Taylor’s family, but their lines were either busy or unanswered. “Fuck!” he cursed.

“Adam, let's go! The car is waiting,” Charlie finally said, leading him through the back door.

Their exit was difficult with the photographers blocking the exit door, but Adam was a tall man, he maneuvered his way out quickly.

“Holy shit! That was crazy! I gotta call Mark!” Charlie was busying himself with the call once again, leaving Adam to his thought and his foot tapping.

The drive to the hospital was short, but the amount of paparazzi keeping vigil in front of the hospital was enough to keep a person with the right mind to stay clear. But Adam was not in the right mind at the moment, and he was determined to be at Taylor’s side at any costs.

“Are you sure you want to go inside, man? It doesn't look like they’re letting just anybody in! Let's just wait until tomorrow,” Charlie suggested, not liking what he saw.

The driver spoke up, “it looks like this is as far as I can go, Mr. Harris! The police is starting to block the road.” Adam looked out of the window and saw two police cars were stationed by the entrance.

Adam quickly unbuckled his seatbelt, “go home, Charlie! I'll call you later!” And he was out of the car before Charlie could stop him.

The police was drawing a police line, Adam knew that it was to ward off the paparazzi. He quickened his pace without trying to alert anyone, but his effort was fruitless, his gigantic stature gave away his presence. Cameras clicked furiously; people shouted his name loudly; his eyes were blinded by the constant flashes pointed at his face.

He battled his way through the swarming paparazzi. The police tried to break the commotion and two of Taylor’s bodyguards quickly helped him out.

Once he was safe inside the hospital a security guard approached him, he was carrying a list, “I will need your ID, sir! Only registered patients and guests are allowed inside the hospital.”

“Aahh… can you check the list for Taylor Swift, I'm Adam Wiles,” he pulled out his ID from the wallet, “... I think I'm on the list?” he said unsure but was hoping Tree or Taylor’s family would put his name on the list.

The security guard double checked his list before returning Adam’s ID, “you can go up to the second floor, room 253,” he said wearily.

“Thank you, sir!” Adam spoke hurriedly, and he ran off to the second floor.

He saw Tree was pacing in the halfway, talking furiously to her phone, and two bodyguards were standing outside a room, which he figured was Taylor's room.

He slowed his pace and approached Tree. “I’ll call you back,” Tree said to her phone once she saw Adam.

“What happened to Taylor, Tree?” he demanded.

“Go inside, Adam. Be with her,” Tree said softly.

Adam nodded quietly and went to Taylor’s room. The sight broke his heart. Taylor was facing away from the door, curling up in fetal position. The hospital gown made her body looked frail. She was crying her heart out.

Without hesitation he climbed to her bed and pulled her into his embrace. Taylor’s cry became harder, she sobbed uncontrollably on Adam’s chest, staining his white shirt with her tears and mascara. Her body was shaking involuntarily. Taylor Swift was a tall woman, but she never looked so small than she was at that very moment.

“Shhhh… Taylor,” Adam hugged her tighter. He whispered comforting words in her ears, but her tears didn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Adam looked down and saw she was clutching an ultrasound picture between her fingers. And he just knew what happened.

Reckless Proposition, Part 12

Note: So I will keep writing this fiction, and it will stay as a Tayvin fic. Whatever happens in real life doesn’t happen in Reckless Proposition realm, and that’s actually the beauty of fan fiction. There are only few chapters left before this series is over. Again it has nothing to do with real life, it’s just how I’ve always envisioned the end when I started writing the series. There’s an option of prolonging the story, but I’m still not sure, I’ll just let my ideas flow.

In the meantime please enjoy some Tayvin drama...

------------

Taylor moved gracefully on the red carpet of Billboard Music Awards 2017, expertly posing in front of hundred cameras pointed at her, swishing the tail of her sparkly black gown with a plunging V line, showing a sexy cleavage. Pregnancy had done wonders to her breasts, her bump had yet started to show, but her breasts were getting bigger, she couldn’t even believe it herself.

After a few minutes, Tree led her to the reception area, where all the guests mingled before they entered the main theater. Taylor immediately noticed Adam’s stare from the other end of the room. She knew he would be there, Tree had told her, and she planned to invite him to her hotel later that night so she could tell him in person about the baby.

Her management team accepted the news of her pregnancy relatively well. They went above and beyond to formulate contingency plans, preparing statements, moving around some tour dates, drawing up legal documents for parental rights and Non-Disclosure Agreements, everything to protect Taylor and the baby. Taylor didn't agree to half of it, but she knew that it was for the best.

Taylor went to see the doctor with her mom last week. She heard the baby’s heartbeat for the first time and was completely awestruck. It was the magical thing she'd ever heard. On the way home from the doctor, she wrote an entire song for her unborn baby, the inspiration just hit her effortlessly.

Now all there was left to do was telling Adam. Something she had been dreading to do, but at ten weeks of pregnancy, she knew she had to do it now before she started showing. She had been ignoring him for the past three weeks, she couldn't ignore him any longer.

After making few small talks to some industry people, she made her way to Adam, purposely refusing a champagne that was offered to her by a waiter.

“Hey, how you've been?” she greeted him.

“I'm good, how are you? Haven't heard from you for a while,” he said coldly.

She avoided his eyes, “yea, sorry about that. I've been busy…”

He laughed sarcastically, “you don't have to make up lame excuse, Taylor, I get it.”

“You get what?” Taylor was confused.

“That you’re seeing someone new. You told me back in December, we would stop our fucking once you’re dating. You have been avoiding my calls and texts, it doesn't take a genius to know what was going on,” he spoke calmly. Almost too calm, it became eerie.

Taylor was taken aback, “I'm not seeing someone, Adam,” Taylor said softly, “there is a reason why I have been avoiding you, but not because I'm dating someone else.”

Adam perked up, a hint of hope sparked in his previously dull eyes, “yeah? What is it then?”

“Taylor… it's time to get ready,” Tree voice called her softly. She stood few steps away from Taylor and Adam, giving them the space they needed as much as she could, considering the circumstances.

“Listen, this is not the right place to discuss it. Can you come over to my hotel after? I’m staying at Wynn, and I'm not going to the after party,” Taylor said hastily.

Adam nodded, “are you opening the show?”

Taylor nodded, “yes, I am.”

“Of course you are,” he beamed proudly, “well good luck with your nominations and everything, I'll see you later. You look good by the way,” he grinned, checking out her cleavage.

Taylor blushed, she touched his arm lovingly, before following Tree to the backstage.

------------

Taylor’s performance earned her a standing ovation from the whole theater. It was heartwarming and powerful.

Taylor should be elated but she was worried. She had been feeling spasms on her lower abdomen since morning. She paid no attention to it, thinking that it was just nervous jitters, but the spasms were getting stronger during her performance. It took all of her strength to concentrate on her song and finish her performance.

She forced a small smile to the audience and quickly stood up from her piano as soon as the focus shifted to the host on the opposite side of the stage. That was when she felt something trickled from her femininity. She knew something was wrong.

She went backstage to a beaming Tree, “that was amazing, Taylor!”

“I need to go to the hospital, right now!” Taylor said hastily.

Tree took one look at Taylor’s worried look and immediately had her security team escorted the singer to the exit door.

Reckless Proposition, Part 11

For the record I’m still team Tayvin, not that it’s important. And the drama continues...

------------

Birth control pills could prevent pregnancy up to 95%, while condom could prevent pregnancy up to 98%. Taylor used both. The chance of her getting pregnant was almost next to impossible, yet there she was staring at three pregnancy tests, all of them bore two stripes.

Fuck you, Adam! And your fucking super swimmers!

“Shit! Shit! Shit!” Taylor slammed her palms against the bathroom sink. He just had to go and knock her up. Complicating the matters even further.

She had always wanted kids with Adam ever since he planted the olive tree in her backyard. When she looked into the future she saw Adam as her husband and the father of her children. But not like this. Not when he was nowhere ready to be a father, not when he didn't even want to have kids.

Her phone buzzed. She took a peek and noticed an incoming message from Adam.

Are you at home rn? - Adam

Speak of the devil.

Taylor ignored the message, she couldn't handle him right now. She chucked the pregnancy tests in the trashcan haphazardly and went to bury herself under the blanket, curling in fetal position.

The universe was playing a cruel joke with her, they were currently laughing maniacally at her miserable state. They were careless when they were together, skipping the condoms every now and then. Now they were being extra careful, yet pregnancy happened. What kind of sick joke were they playing?

She felt numb. She never thought that she would feel this horrible when she found out about her pregnancy. She always envisioned she would be ecstatic, she would surprise Adam with cheesy pregnancy announcement, he would be surprised but would be as thrilled as her, he would pick her up and spin her around, and they would celebrate the news with sweet lovemaking all night long. Here she was, crying her eyes out and alone.

She tempted to call Adam, but she wasn't ready. She had to figure out what she wanted first before dropping the bomb at him. That night she cried herself to sleep.

------------

Taylor was the master of ignorance. She had been ignoring Adam’s calls and text messages, and she had been ignoring the fact that there was a baby growing in her womb at the moment.

It was until she started throwing her guts out two weeks later and couldn’t keep anything down for the whole day that she knew she had to start telling people soon.

Her parents, Tree, her management, her girlfriends… and Adam.

She could already see emergency management meetings would be called upon, damage control and contingency plans needed to be drawn. Her personal and sex life would be discussed out in the open once again.

And how could she face her parents? Her parents surely didn't raise her to be the girl who slept around and got knocked up by her ex-boyfriend, ex being the operative word here.

Her girlfriends would be supportive and had her back no matter what. One thing she would surely be needing in order to go through this pregnancy alone.

Telling Adam would be the hardest. She knew she had to tell him, but she also knew there was a possibility that he would leave her for good. She didn't think she could handle it. She still loved him, no matter how hard she tried to bury the feeling.

She decided to call her mother first. She had been secretive for the past few months and her mother deserved better. Andrea picked up on the second ring, “hi darling, are you feeling better? I heard you’ve been throwing up today,” her mother greeted warmly.

Taylor held back her tears and tried to be strong, “mom? I have something to tell you…”

“What is it, honey?” Andrea sounded alert

“I… I’m pregnant,” Taylor’s voice cracked and tears finally spilled on her cheeks.

There was an uncomfortable silence on the other end. Taylor held her breath.

“I'm so sorry, Mom, please say something?” Taylor whispered.

Andrea cleared her throat, “I'm sorry, honey. You just took me by surprise. That is wonderful news, Taylor! Why are you sorry for?” Andrea said cheerfully.

Wave of relief washed over Taylor, she smiled happily, “you're not mad?”

“Well… I'm surprised, but not mad. A baby is a wonderful thing, Taylor.”

“Ooh… mom, what am I gonna do? My career is over! The fans would hate me! The media would call me sl…”

Andrea cut her off, “Taylor Alison Swift, don't you dare call yourself that! You are everything but that! Your career is not over, we may have to shift something around a bit, but you can still have both your career and raise your baby. Your fans will still love you and support you.”

Taylor couldn't hold back her tears, “thank you, mom! You have no idea what that means to me. I thought I have to go through this pregnancy alone.”

“Oh honey, you won't be alone. Never! Do you think I would trust you enough to raise my grandbaby without my supervision?” Andrea joked.

Taylor laughed, “thanks, mom!” Then she realized that she had to tell her mother about the baby’s father, “aren't you gonna ask me who’s the father?”

“It's Adam’s, isn't it?” Andrea said gently.

Taylor closed her eyes, she could never hide things from her mom, “how did you know, mom?”

“Mother always knows, Taylor, you'll learn soon enough. Did you think I didn’t know about the sneaking around you have been doing for the past few months?”

Guilt ate Taylor up, she wished she could vanish into nothingness, “I’m sorry, mom,” she apologized again, “I just don't know how it could happen. We were very careful. I take my pills on the clock and we always use condoms,” she said in frustration, finally releasing all the pent up emotions she had been bottling up for the past two weeks.

“It's just meant to be, Taylor! This baby was meant to be, if it was here against all odds.”

“I guess…”

“So are you back together with Adam? Have you told him, yet?” Andrea asked.

“Errr… no and no,” Taylor blushed, “it was a casual thing,” she mumbled. She had never been more embarrassed talking about her sexual life than she was right now.

Andrea sighed, “you have to tell him, Taylor,” she said firmly.

“I know, mom. I’m just… scared that I will lose him for good,” Taylor whispered.

“Either way, you still have to tell him. He deserves to know, what choice will he make afterwards is out of your control. Just know that we will always have your back and support you no matter what.”

“Okay, mom, thank you! I’ll talk to you later, okay?” Taylor said gratefully.

“Take a good care of yourself, okay? Please go to the doctor and check your pregnancy. Crackers and ginger candy always helped with the nausea when I was pregnant with you,” advised Andrea.

“Okay, I will ask the guys to buy them for me. Thanks, mom, I love you!”

“I love you, honey, everything will be okay,” Andrea said reassuringly.

Taylor felt as if a huge burden had been lifted out of her shoulder. How silly of her to think so little about her parents. She should had known better than anyone that her family would always had her back, no matter what.

She rubbed her lower abdomen, and for the first time she acknowledged the baby growing inside of her. “I'm sorry it took me so long, but you are loved, and I will do everything in my power to protect you,” she whispered as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Reckless Proposition, Part 10

Note: I always love it when Taylor gives acoustic performance, like when it was just her and her guitar in the crowds of 50,000, or that Grammy’s museum performance, or the latest one was when she performed at Max & Kenya’s wedding. I secretly hope one day she will release a full acoustic album, because I know it’s just going to be mind blowing. But until then she just released her full acoustic album in my fiction.

Enjoy this chapter, and thank you for your kind words and supports. You are amazing, I love you!

------------

Adam caressed Taylor’s naked back gently as she laid on her abdomen. A blanket was thrown carelessly around their bodies, just enough to cover below their waists.

Her own vocal filled the air as they had made love to her new songs. A soft smile was visible on Taylor’s lips, she was replaying the dance they just performed on her bed just few moments ago. They were making love. It wasn't just sex. She knew it, he knew it, but nobody wanted to be the first to acknowledge the feelings.

“I love you…” he whispered. His voice was raw, filled with emotion for this beautiful woman.

Taylor met his gaze, “you know how I feel about you, Adam,” she said softly.

“Say it, Taylor! I want to hear it, please,” he begged. Adam Wiles never begged, but Taylor successfully altered his life's principles.

Taylor closed her eyes, tears spilled on her cheeks; she wasn't sure whether it was happy tears or sadness. “I never stopped loving you, Adam Wiles,” she admitted out loud for the first time since they broke up.

So much for keeping all the feelings at bay.

Adam leaned down and kissed her lips softly. “Let's be together again! I don't want to be just in your bed, I want to be in your heart,” Adam spoke firmly.

“You are in my heart, Adam. You never left, you're everywhere. I wrote an entire album for you for God's sake,” Taylor said exasperatedly, “but we still want different things in life, Adam,” Taylor reminded him the reason they broke up in the first place.

Adam was silent. He wished he would want the same thing with her, so they could be happy together, instead of being miserable alone.

“And that's okay to want different things. It doesn't mean you're a bad person, it just means we can’t be together.”

“Should we end this? For good?” he asked softly, he felt a big lump on his throat as he said the words.

Taylor looked at him sadly, she always knew her proposition had an expiration date. Ending things now would be the smart move, feelings were already involved. They were just hurting themselves even further. “Can… can we still do it? I'm not ready to let go of you completely just yet. Please?”

“I'm not ready to let go as well,” he rolled her over and buried his face in the crook of her neck, holding her like there was tomorrow.

CALVIN HARRIS SPOTTED LEAVING TAYLOR SWIFT’S HOUSE

Six days after Taylor Swift released her new acoustic album, Bare, Calvin Harris was seen leaving Taylor Swift’s house in Los Angeles early Saturday morning.

Bare consists thirteen beautifully written love songs and people have been speculating that they were all written for the DJ. Swift has neither confirmed nor denied the speculation.

It has been a massive week for Swift. Bare has reached more than 1.3 million of sales, topping off Swift’s ‘1989' first week of sales record which hold a spectacular number of 1,287 million copies, and the week hasn't ended yet.

Both Harris and Swift’s reps didn't respond to the rumor of them getting back together, but by the look of it Harris was definitely touched by Swift’s love declaration. Fire your comments below!

Reckless Proposition, Part 9

HAPPY LOVE DAY!

During the Red era, I wrote that maybe one day I would write an entire album about real love, the one that shines golden like starlight, that doesn’t fade or spontaneously combust, if I ever found it.

I never thought I would find it soon enough, but I did. It came unexpectedly when I was not looking. I was successfully buried by it. It was reckless and romantic. It was timeless, the kind of love you would tell your kids and grandkids over and over again. And when it ended, you felt no remorse, you didn't think of what went wrong or what you could do to fix it, but you felt content of how beautiful it was, and happy that you got to spend that magical time with someone you deeply loved.

Most real love lasts forever, other doesn’t have the same fate. They both as real as you make them to be, and those who experience them are very lucky. I was very lucky to have that kind of love. I'm a hopeless romantic, always be, always will. I may have derailed for some years, but deep down I always believe in love.

This album is for those who fight for love, for those who have faith in love, as well as for those who have given up and lose hope.

This album is my fruit of love for you. It's the most intimate one I've ever written. I've stripped down my emotions, standing bare, sharing my real love story with you.

Love, Taylor

Bare is now available on iTunes.

2.13 AM

There was a knock at Taylor’s door. She didn't need to check the security camera to know who it was. Only few people had access code to her main gate and only one person would use it at this hour.

She opened the door and was met by the bloodshot eyes of Adam Wiles.

“What are you doing to me, Taylor?” he whispered.

And he kissed her passionately.

------------

Taylor managed to kick Adam out of her apartment just before Tree, her make up artists and stylist came to prep her for Good Morning America.

Tree took one look at Taylor and immediately knew something was up. Taylor looked awful, as she didn't get any sleep the night before. Adam didn't let her catch any sleep, he wore her down until the wee hours of morning. Post-fight sex was awesome, it was rough and primal, jealous Adam made it even hotter. She was tempted to pick fights with Adam again that day.

“Tell me, what did you do?” Tree asked her suspiciously.

Taylor was taken aback, “wha… what do you mean?”

“Chris, Jane, can you give us a minute, please?” Tree addressed Taylor’s prep team. They nodded without further comment and exited Taylor’s bedroom.

“Tree…”

“Who did you have sex with last night? Or should I say this morning?” Tree asked inquisitively.

Taylor stopped her track, agape. “Damn, you’re good, Tree! How did you know?”

“Oh come one, your eye bags were the size of Alaska and you reeked sex! Come on spill! You know that I need to know, just in case the guy couldn't keep his mouth shut.” Tree’s voice was stoic and business-like, she was already furiously typing on her tablet. Probably writing a statement as they spoke. There was a good reason Taylor paid her a fortune.

“Don't worry, he won't talk. It's Adam,” Taylor mumbled. She hated the fact that she had no privacy whatsoever in her life. Everything had to be laid out the open.

It was Tree’s turn to become speechless. She stopped working on her tablet and looked at Taylor, “as in Wiles? Are you getting back together with him?”

Taylor shook her head, “no, we're not. It's just casual sex. No strings attached. Also now that you mention it, I've been seeing Nathanael Ahrens, he’s a stockbroker, non-celebrity. We're not dating, but I really like his company, and would like to see him again in the future and I need you to get him a VIP access to the New Year’s Eve Ball.”

Tree Paine was not the kind of person who got shocked easily, not with her line of work, but today she was shocked by none other than Taylor Swift. Shock was an understatement. “Who are you and what have you done to Taylor Swift?”

Taylor chuckled seeing Tree’s reaction, “I just want to take charge of my relationship once and for all. Now can we finish getting ready? Aren't we supposed to leave in like an hour?”

------------

Over the next few days, Taylor was over the moon. Her single had been a great success, a week in and it was still number one on iTunes. Critics had been labeling the song as a timeless love song, her music video had hit a million views on YouTube, the song constantly played on the radio, and her fans loved it.

Things with both men had been great. Taylor was always glued to her phone, either chatting with Nathan or sexting with Adam. Taylor was always good in multitasking and apparently she was a great juggler too.

Except from Tree, her assistants and bodyguards, all of whom had signed binding NDAs, Taylor didn't tell anyone else about her extra curricular activities, not even her mother. Her mom was suspicious but seeing her daughter was happy for the first time since she broke up with Adam, she decided to let it go. However, when Taylor and Nathan shared a kiss on New Year’s Eve, Andrea couldn't contain her curiosity any longer. She asked her daughter about it and Taylor just said nonchalantly that she didn't know what it was just yet. Andrea didn't push, knowing that Taylor would tell her when she was ready.

On the other hand, Adam was in rage when he saw the picture of Taylor Swift kissing an unidentified man during New Year’s Eve on the tabloids. He immediately flew to New York on New Year’s Day after his gig at Omnia and fucked her senseless until she no longer remembered about her kiss with Nathan.

After that, it was Adam’s mission to make Taylor forget about other men and to mark his territory. Between Taylor’s performance, interviews and other responsibilities, and Adam’s gigs, they somehow managed to sneak around and had mind-blowing sex every now and then.

Taylor was glad she had told Tree about her sexual escapades. As it turned out having someone on her side made the sneaking around somewhat easier, even though she still received disapproving looks from Tree. She was not particularly happy when she found Adam had left red angry hickey on Taylor's neck one day in the middle of January, Taylor never heard the end of it. But Tree still had her back and helped Taylor out.

Adam’s mission was successfully carried out. As the days went by, the text messages between Taylor and Nathan had lessened tremendously. By the end of January, Taylor told Nathan that she didn't have any feelings for him. It didn’t come as a surprise to him as he already suspected that when Adam showed up on her doorstep back in December. Although they were never exclusive in the first place, they still separated ways in good terms, promising to remain good friends.

February rolled in and Taylor was busier than ever with her incoming new album. It was almost impossible to find sex time with Taylor and it frustrated Adam a lot. The only reassurance he could rely on was the fact that Nathan was no longer in picture. He could breathe easily for now, but he didn't know for how long. There were men waiting in line to date Taylor Swift and he wasn't comfortable with that.

He knew he had to do something, but he just didn't know what.
