#smthing about this mini comic ive always liked is like. one its really nice to see stuff about the twins#but two that it seems like kaka is the more sensitive of the two of them#whereas kiki is the one comforting him#its sort of refreshing both to see kaka get to cry/be upset and narratively not have it be seen as a joke#it is painful. to be a child and be seen as an adult simply because you're different from the kids around you#and i think even thistle does a good job of this in a similar but different setting#how everyone sees thistle as an adult because of how old thistle is temporally. but elves mature slower#so even though thistles 'old' theyre still just a child. being given the responsibilities of an adult#what i do like though is that its clear kaka and kiki were raised very lovingly and this same sort of thing happened. it goes to show its#not just some bad people that mistreat others that cause kids to be adultified or abused#but societally this happens when different groups of people are only exposed to people like them. they end up hurting those who arent#and making assumptions that can be dangerous or just hurtful
