About

Hello! We're Fable and this our blog for writing about our experiences as a disabled, queer, trans, autistic person with DID. This space is primarily focused on dissociation, trauma, and finding our path to healing.

We do try to tag for triggers, but are sometimes inconsistent. If you need a tw added to something, please don't hesitate to ask.

We have a sideblog for memes and fandom stuff @fractalsinthefragments

Our sideblog for pictures of forests and streams and such is @paradoxicalworlds

We also have a semi-private sideblog for more personal ramblings. If you're interested, check out this post

Unless specifically requested, we are not seeking medical advice

Our ask box is open if you have questions

Between the waves, Ivan Aivazovsky, 1898

[ID. A painting of a stormy sea. The sky is dark, as well as the waves in the background. In the center of the painting, a ray of sunlight from the sky comes down, illuminating a patch of the ocean. End ID.]

having love and softness in your heart is never something to be ashamed of. giving and receiving kindness is what we are here for.

After about five years on this blog, I decided it was time for a change. Our following has gotten a bit larger than is comfortable and a blank space to redefine myself feels right.

If you're interested in following us there, shoot me a DM. I'll be checking in here occasionally and our queue will still be running for a bit

There is nothing cuter than a baby animal being cheerfully terrible at a skill considered basic for its species.

One thousand out of ten, little dolphin baby.

[ID: a video of dolphins in the ocean. A few large dolphins skim the surface of the water. A small baby dolphin jumps a half-foot out of the water, flails, and flops back into the water. the baby dolphin does this twice.

image two is a tweet by medickinson that says “Today I got to watch a baby dolphin learning to jump and it brought me so much joy— thought I’d share ❤️
