“Why Did Johnny Depp wait 3 years to sue his Ex-Wife, why didn’t he do it when she accused him of abuse?” Well imagine you are finally free and away from the person that abused you for years. I don’t think your first intention is ‘shit, she is ruining my career with her lies.’ You would probably be happy that she is gone from your Life. Also maybe sueing your abuser is scary? And maybe he just lost his mother and he wanted to heal a bit? Also, Collecting evidence is a big one here. I believe he wanted to build a STRONG case against her, before sueing her.

“Why didn’t he come out to say he was abused earlier if he really was abused?”

Well why didn’t Amber come out earlier if she was abused? Same question, she was dating him for how many years? 5? And she claims she was abused even before the marriage? So why didn’t she come out earlier? Also abuse victims tend to be scared of their abuser, so saying publically that you were abused by a Person you loved is scary as hell!

I hate, “why did he wait 3 years to say anything” bullshit. Its coming from the same people who get angry when people ask why a woman marry a man whose already abused them. In 6 days he lost his mother, his marriage, and the reputation he spent 30 years building. Hes also confronted with the reality that hes been fooled for years by Amber. So of course hes going to need time to heal from all of it before being well enough to fight back. He probably just hoped itd go away and he could move on. But every few months Amber is giving speeches or writing essays about surviving abuse.

I agree with you! He lost alot of things during that time and EVERYONE would need to heal from that, not only that but his abusive partner left him alone finally, but then there was this court process that he was involved in that probably didn’t allow him to heal at all, my guess is he wanted the trial to be over and just catch a break, but he couldn’t.

he was probably manipulated so hard that he didn’t fully realise he was abused too until afterward cause everyone around him would act like he hadn’t been, and then he had to emotionally deal with the fact that that had happened. the main people in his life throughout the marriage were amber and amber’s friends (which, not to go on a tangent, but a huge sign of an abuser is that they cut off everyone from the other person’s life and have control over who they know/talk to). the people living around him were amber, raquel, and io (they literally lived in his penthouses). obviously, they would convince him that the way amber treated him is normal

OR, hear me out, they’re people who have actually researched into the situation and see that there is a strong case for a) him being innocent and b) him actually being the victim of abuse by HER. i absolutely bet that the person who submitted this has read 0 court documents, done no research, and just gone off what’s been said on twitter/tumblr

Johnny Depp is continuing to gather witnesses privy to the personal struggles he went through with Amber Heard during their volatile marriage, and has now tapped her stylist to testify against ever seeing facial injuries after the actress claimed Depp beat her up.

Depp’s legal team obtained testimony of celebrity stylist, Samantha McMillen. McMillen says she has helped style Heard for “major events” since 2014.

Specifically, she describes styling the star for an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on December 16, 2015, after the actress alleged Depp had given her two black eyes during an argument that occurred the previous night.

“Throughout the day of December 16, 2015, I could see clearly that Amber Heard did not have any visible marks, bruises, cuts, or injuries to her face or any other part of her body,” McMillen testified.

When describing those facial injuries, McMillen said, “Ms. Heard did not have any black eyes, and had been visibly uninjured throughout the day and at that moment.”

The stylist also gave testimony about working with Heard on May 24, 2016 … the day allegedly brutal fight that Heard recounted during her emotional deposition.

McMillen said she showed up to the house around noon and “she came to me at the bottom of the staircase in Mr. Depp’s house and gave me a hug, sobbing.”

The stylist was adamant Heard had no marks on her face during their meeting on May 24, but admitted, “Three days after my encounter with Ms. Heard, on May 27, 2016, I saw in the media that Ms. Heard had gone to Court with prominent injuries visible on her face. I knew that she did not have those marks on her face May 24, 2016 when I was with her.”

As we reported, Depp’s legal team has collected tons of surveillance footagethey claim prove Heard did not have any visible injuries in the days after the brawl between the two stars.

Depp’s attorney, Adam Waldman, tells us, “Today’s sworn declaration provided by Amber Heard’s own stylist adds to the overwhelming body of evidence demolishing not only her already throughly disproven May 21, 2016 hoax against Johnny Depp, but also her phony December 15, 2015 abuse claims against him.”

“I based my character on Johnny’s two security guards: Jerry and Malcolm, who would literally leap in front of a bullet [for Johnny] … The loyalest and funniest people, and often doing the same job, which is stopping this idiot from getting into trouble.”

Ladies and gentlemen, this is how you look like when you get rid of a toxic relationship. I’m so fucking proud of him.

i dont fucking care how long it takes you to open up about your assault or you being abused. that is your pain. no one has a right to discredit that. if you have evidence then there should be NO QUESTION at all
