“ Just until my Aunt’s leave. If they think I’m here being a dutiful wife they won’t force me back into the academy and I’ll buy you all the meat and milkshakes you can stand.”
“T-this is awkward Lav. Ya know that? ” Jesse rubbed his face with hand taking a deep breath before peaking out to faze at her. “But ya know.. I’ll do anything for ya”
Lav blushes, pushing her hair away from her face and smiling. “ Well. Could be worse. They could’ve demanded a baby.” She sighs and rubs her temple “ Thank you, Jesse. And I’m sorry in advance, for all the fancy suits and weird dinners. But..I’m really grateful for it. I’m kinda excited too, to show you my home.”
Jesse gulped loudly rubbing the back of his head looking away. “Y-yeah you’re right. It’s no big deal. I’ve done it for missions before. Easier having you by my side. Nice to see ya all dressed up too”
She comes closer and gives him a quick hug, then cocks a eyebrow at him. “ Oh do you now? My usual getup not doing it for you anymore?” She playfully frowns at him, but grins again. “ Plus, ontop of it being a super fancy mission, there’s super fancy food too.”
Jesse crosses his arms letting out a soft sigh. “Oh hush. You’re beautiful to me no matter what ya wear darlin. ” He gazes at her before looking away “food sounds good right now”
That sends a warm rush through her, he’s always so sweet on her and she has no clue how to deal with that.
So she comes, stands on her tip toes and kisses his cheek. “ So do you, I bet I won’t be able to keep my hands off you when you’re in a fancy suit.” She takes his hand and pulls him in the direction she starts walking. “ let’s get something to eat before we go then, then we can pack last minute stuff and head out to the transport.”
The cowboy stretches walking along with her. "Sounds good to me darlin. My stomach is yelling at me. " He says as a loud gurgle echoes from his stomach. " These bags are heavy. How much did you pack? "
