No College Time Progression On Community Lots

I really enjoy the idea of the college experience in TS2. However, it really seems like it was tailored for the partygoing type of college-attending Sims, with plenty of time in each semester for faffing about and socializing, while your introverted knowledge Sims get stuck with the short end of the stick. Meanwhile, the player gets tired of playing too for what is essentially the length of an Adult lifespan.

Since I’ve installed shorter Semester mods, I then found I had the opposite problem - in a wants-based playstyle no Sim had enough time to both socialize and pass!

My solution is imo what should have been there to begin with, and suits my own playstyle the best.

Verona City Project

Hey everyone,

So I’ve been working on a lot of lots for a downtown which has similar architecture to Veronaville. I’m sure you’ve seen me share a lot of them here and I thought it’d be nice to make a post and gather all of the lots in one place in case if you want to recreate the downtown. 

I haven’t shared a hood before so I need to figure that out to actually share it and It’s still not finished anyway, I have so many more ideas and lots to create on the map. I want to create residential lots with classic architecture and a bit more modern stuff to simulate the modern ‘hood which surrounds the old downtown.

I used the River’s Bend map, from mod the sims for this. I’ve added the map with lot links under the cut because I will keep updating this post as I add more lots to the downtown. You can also find all of my Verona City lots here!

heavily inspired by melanie martinez songs coupled with some of my favorite colors, this is kind of like a berry challenge. but like melanie, we are wielding dual colors. each gen has two colors that will bleed into the next. you can utilize dual colors in multitudes of ways. you can create berry sims or normal sims, color coordinate their clothes and makeup, change up their hair colors. doesn’t matter as long as you use the two colors given to signal each generation.

How to unmerge merged package files

So remember that video from youtube I linked? Well it’s not mine [I shoulda made that like the heading when I posted but I didn’t know it would get reblogged and be confusing anyhoo sorry] Even though my post got that person a lot of views for some reason they made the video private. So I get asks about the video. Anyway going based on memory cause it was ages since I watched it I am making a tut for the video:

First things first, for this version you must download s3oc which clones packages [its also how I change things like making them outerwear etc]

According to this tutorial you can do this stuff with s3pe so check it out if this way doesn’t work for you. This way below is the way I found out how to retrieve those merged packages that you no longer have the originals for.

I suggest looking at this tutorial on organizing CC in the first place as its always better to have everything clearly organized and labeled and backed up to save time and hassle.

Step 1

Double click s3oc > file> open package and find your merged package

Step 2

Now you will see all the packages that are merged and what they are named

Step 3

Click the package file you want to extract first [highlighted yellow] Then click clone/fix button

Step 4

Make sure clone package is checked as well as include thumbnail then clicky start! 

Step 5

Name the file whatever you want [obviously not something that you already have saved cause you will over write it] I suggest like the resource name in this case or something similar since we are doing this cause we lost the original anyway. Save it where ever you want. 

Lastly, this took my computer a while so be patient. My computer is dying so maybe thats why or maybe its cause it is from a merged package with no original but it will let you know when its done. 

Rinse and repeat steps 1-5 for all packages you want separated.

More Food Options For Toy Oven

Made those 3t2 foods by Delonariel into functional toy oven foods and then added them as new interactions with instructions from @midgethetree, so all credit for that goes to Midge! <3 You can have deco and edible versions at the same time. The foods are also avaliable as default replacements for a muffin, if you don’t want to have a whole pack of foods, choose one in that case. The pack of new foods already contains default for a muffin, i choose pie for that and it’s only avaliable as default and is included in the more options archive. Also in the archive are instructions on how to remove the foods you don’t want and translate it to your own language, as i only made them in english.

About custom foods dangers: I see that those don’t make “learned to cook” memories and neither original ingame muffins, neither those new “muffins” appear in the Batbox’s Favorite Foods menu, so i think it might be safe to assume that those are not traditional foods and can be removed from the game without problems. If anyone with more solid knowledge can confirm or dismiss that, feel free to do so!
