Just after alverez battle team natsu were on a job and they needed to seduce a woman in order to get information. Usually Gray would do that but he wasn’t willing to do it for cer-juvia-tain reasons. So he gave a long speech about why Natsu was a better fit for this woman enough to convince Lucy and Erza. Ofc he was not. Turned out that Natsu flirts by picking a fight. They ended up getting the information using force.

Pain radiated through Natsu’s ankle, but he couldn’t think about that. He had to concentrate. It was faint, barely heard over his pounding heart and the sound of crying around him, but he was sure he heard footsteps outside.

He pressed an ear against the metal wall, eyes straining to see, but the small holes in the walls didn’t provide much light. He could only speculate what caused the holes, hoping they were from rust and not the guns their captors had carried.
