Unfortunately transselfies cannot be run anymore. As the blog grew it started attracting a lot of bad blogs which compromised the safety of transselfies’ submitters. At the start it was simply a matter of filtering through followers to block these blogs but as the blog grew larger and larger I would have to filter through hundreds of blogs daily - and above that the first few thousands of followers are completely unfiltered. To put it into perspective, I’ve blocked around 1.5k blogs from transselfies, and that’s only from filtering about a quater to a third of the blog’s total followers. This blog is not a safe place anymore and thus I have decided to stop running it and delete every post on the blog - however I will leave a trans resources post below for anyone who needs it.
It’s an incredible shame that it has come to this and I am so very sorry for everyone who really needed this blog.
I’d like to thank everyone who has ever submitted and every supportive follower. It is because of you that this blog was able to run in the first place and I know that the support and encouragement everyone provided for one another brought a lot of happiness to a lot of people.
Coincidentally the blog was created exactly a year ago today.
