Headcanon: Short Stories
Lucy writes short stories along with whatever bid projects she has at the time. A lot of the inspiration for these short stories comes from her adventures. She tends to write them for younger audiences, but sometimes the themes are too much for children, so she gives them a wider range of readers. Even though she loves writing her short stories, she hardly shares them with anyone. If a friend of her’s asks, she may show them, but really it depends on how she reels about it at the time.

Brown eyes widened as the woman stared at her, the blood dripping from her mouth making it look like she’d just drank someone’s blood. The red mark on her cheek where she’d been punched seeming as if it was spreading to her whole face. The golden hues that stared back at her showed the challenge in them, but behind the fire left a slight hint of shock at what had just happened to her.
Looking down at her reddened and sore knuckles, Lucy became speechless. She’d just punched Mary, and she wasn’t the only one that was shocked. Once she had, the horrible pain in her stomach had stopped. It was coming back to her, how the other was bad-mouthing Fairy Tail and all of her friends. It had drove her to force, which hadn’t happened in quite awhile.
She disregarded all of the horrible comments made about herself. None of that mattered to her, but when someone insulted her family, that was the last straw. Looking back up at the woman in front of her, the fire in Lucy’s eyes seemed to come back. Her voice was firm, sure, and powerful.
