The story of Balto is interesting. He led a team of sled dogs across the Alaskan wilderness in the dead of winter with diphtheria antitoxins to stop an outbreak in Nenana Alaska. Diphtheria is a deadly infectious disease that could wipe out a third of a town’s population. It is mostly unknown to the public today because of vaccines. Balto’s body is preserved in the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
He’s a big hero of mine!
Let’s not forget Togo! Who, at 12 years old during the serum run, lead his team 200 miles through much more dangerous conditions during the first leg of the journey before Balto ran the last 55-mile stretch.
Togo and Balto didn’t bust their asses for dying children for you to turn around and not vaccinate your damn kids
today my lyft driver was like, why is this road blocked off? there's no construction? and got out of the car and moved the cones out of the way and kept driving. there was a guy putting his hands up to stop the guy and everything but we were gone
Do not look away.
Don’t look away.
I feel like the usage of the term “crack ship” has changed. When I think “crack ship”, I don’t think ‘these two characters have good chemistry and would be good together, but it’s not going to happen, so it’s crack", I think Loki/Gordon Ramsay
You don’t think Loki and Gordon Ramsay would have chemistry together??
no meme caption this is just me
“The two ‘lesbian’ films that bookended the dates of the Production Code Administration’s reign―Queen Christina (Rouben Mamoulian, 1933) and The Killing of Sister George (Robert Aldrich, 1968)―both evoke definitions of lesbianism as gender inversion (and thus as visible difference) that would largely disappear from Hollywood film during the intervening period. While these films can help us understand what the Code regulated, they are not evidence of some lesbian reality that existed “outside” censored Hollywood but are themselves very medicated representations whose censorship negotiations indicated what modes of lesbian representation the Code favored.“

Costumes each state googles more than any other state.
When you find out ‘slutty pumpkin’ is a thing.
Okay is everyone just gonna ignore “pregnant nun”???
But who wants to dress as Green Lantern?.
That movie was terrible.
Is an entire state trying to troll Deadpool?
Does anyone know what happened?
I don’t know what any of the above means, but it looks like everyone hates it, a lot.
