YOI Characters at a Halloween/Costume Party

[Note: This isn’t everyone. It’s more centered around duos, trios, and couples. It’s just for fun, so don’t take it too seriously!]

Victor and Yuri: They try a number of things at first. Some of Victor’s ideas are too elaborate, too risque for Yuri to feel comfortable in public wearing. They want to coordinate their costumes, and eventually decide on two very different forms of vampire. Victor’s is elegant, sexy, and regal: a loose tunic with a draped neckline that plunges to meet the waistline of his trousers. There’s a lot of silver to the look, which he brings out by wearing a low, clip-in ponytail reminiscent of his own long hair. It’s a stark but perfect contrast to Yuri’s look: dark, seductive, even a little dangerous. With his hair slicked back and just a little costume makeup to chisel and enhance his features, Yuri channels his eros persona. Neither Victor nor anyone else can keep his eyes off him. 

Yurio and Otabek: Yurio is proud of his costume and struts in like he owns the place, knowing how badass his self-made, mid-transformation werecat costume is…only to be greeted with the question, “what the hell is a werecat?” It was entirely coincidence that Otabek (who’s attended as a DJ) had chosen a deadly werewolf look, and Yurio complains to him, wondering how the others wouldn’t know what a werecat was by context. To his own surprise, Yurio wins the costume contest, after a mysterious swarm of votes in his favor. 

Phichit: Phichit’s all about fun, as he demonstrates by dressing up as a fictional prince those on social media frequently claims he resembles. The costume is of the best quality though, as he wanted it to stand out in pics. It does, and his Instagram proceeds to blow up as usual, especially with his younger fans.

Christophe: Chris knew from the start he wanted to be slutty Cupid for Halloween. He parades around the party wearing what would better be described as a silk loincloth or a very small and too-loose toga than a costume, with a laurel leaf headband and a bow and arrow prop. His mysterious boyfriend looks a little uncomfortable in his own costume, a costume inspired by the same era with far more coverage. He is, Chris introduces proudly, his Psyche. 

JJ and Isabella: Predictably, JJ and Isabella show up dressed as a pirate king and queen from a popular action film both had posted about on Instagram. What was less predictable was just how good the costumes would actually be, though, gaudy and elaborate, beautifully coordinated, and eye-catching. While he’d never admit it, even Yurio thinks they look kind of cool.

Sara, Michele, and Emil: Sara is stunning as Cleopatra, though she is disturbingly flanked by a Marc Antony-costumed Michele and Caesar costumed Emil. The Queen of the Nile for the night makes her escape, finding company among some of the other skaters.

Seung-gil: Never replied to the invite and didn’t show up. Occasionally checks Phichit’s, JJ’s, and Sara’s Instagram updates for photos from the comfort of his room.

So I was thinking about Madame Red possibly knowing about Our Ciel’s identity, and thought of this scene from chapter 8. Other people have probably noticed this already, but the baby Madame Red is remembering has his hair parted to the right, like our Ciel, not real Ciel. And from chapter 130 we can see that the twins had their hair parted in different directions even when they were newborns. So I’m even more convinced that she knew our Ciel wasn’t really Ciel!

It’s not actually known if lemons were made by humans or if they were just natural hybrids of citrons and sour oranges. Apparently it’s super common for citrons to fertilize basically anything they’re near.
