spn hiatus creations: week eight→ carry on my wayward son Saudade – a Portuguese and Galician word for a feeling of nostalgic longing for something or someone that one was fond of and which has been lost. It often carries a fatalist tone and a repressed knowledge that the object of longing might never really return. It was once described as “the love that remains” or “the love that stays” after someone is gone.

To The Wayward Sons,

Hey Dean, hey Sam, Cas, Jack. Stop rolling your eyes Dean. Fine I will not call you my wayward sons and if you had given me your number I wouldn't have to write a freaking letter. Anyways- no, don't leave my letter. Please, I want all of you to read this.

Things are tough, very tough for all of us. Till now, 2020 is kinda kicking us in the ass and I know how Chuck is tormenting all of you. You boys don't deserve his crap. I don't know how much my words will help you guys, but it will get better. It always does. I don't know if it's Chuck's doing or not, but 2020 is an absolute shitshow in my world too. We have been in isolation for more than three months now. Forest fires, earthquakes, storms and a freaking pandemic is happening in my world. Different protests are going on in different countries. It's a mess right now but I am staying strong for you boys.

Dean, I don't know what to say about you. I know you are probably saying "Because I'm awesome", and honestly even if it's annoying, I need to say, it's true Dean, you are awesome. You are not ninety percent crap. You are just as cute as you are a badass. You taught me to be a badass!

Sammy, you are a reason why I'm still fighting. You have been through so much and you are still standing strong. Everyday I think if Sam Winchester can get out of bed to fight evil even after he got tortured by the Devil himself, why can't I?

Cas, you have taught me so many valuable lessons. You taught me to always follow what is right and not the herd. You taught me to stand up against wrong doings. You may think yourself as just a fallen angel, but you are so much more than that.

Jack, I know we didn't get too much time together but Kelly will be so proud of you. You are a true Winchester. You have also taught me several valuable lessons - the most important lesson is to always keep a smile on your face.

You boys are the reason I am still standing strong even with the world falling apart. I don't want you guys to worry about me, but Dean, Sam, even in this tough times, I'm not giving up. You know why? Because you boys taught me to never give up, to always keep fighting, to never lose hope. I don't know when you guys welcomed me into your family, but you did. You never made me feel as an outsider. You boys are my heroes and I am proud of you.

I know that everything will eventually get back to normal, it has to be. This is kind of a thank you letter to you boys for saving me. Thank you boys!
