This linguistic problem is only going to continue getting worse unless we fuck it in the ass now.
wtf was like the rest of the world thinking when law was going around ripping out peoples hearts for a while there. like do u think other crews were like "watch tf out this batshit captain is organ harvesting from other captains for god knows what reason" and law in the present still acts like he has a normal reputation??? LIKE ITS KIND OF WILD for a captain to just go attacking and ripping organs out of 100 other captains but . HDMDNDNCKFMFNFNFJ
The funniest part of this is those pirates are still out there. Like, Law and his merry band got close enough to these pirates to rip out their hearts. AND THEN they let them go, free to sail to the next pirate bar and tell the people around them “I had the WILDEST thing happen to me on the way here’.
Rumors about Law aren’t even rumors lol they’re true stories straight from a primary source. Just like, picture this in a bar somewhere in the Grandline:
Pirate captain with a thousand yard stare: “And then there was this blue light and he suddenly had my heart in his chest.”
Friendly captain next to him who just saw the gaping hole in his chest: “And then what?? What’s he gonna do with your heart?”

My friend let me borrow their collection of Berserk because I’ve never read it before and I went into it knowing to expect Dark Souls-Demon Souls cranked up with the gore and misery function to 11 and it definitely is delivering on that

It's been quite a long time since I've actually done something of the sort of myself that wasn't related to client/sakuracon/study work...I think I may try something today!

I appreciate it! It’s not that it’s been a bad day really, its just one of those days where my brain takes extra long to jumpstart past executive dysfunction and even though I’m working on my own schedule now, there’s still the lingering “don’t waste your waking hours” sort of mindset. I’m pushing past it though, got some good warm food and my favorite glass and the rain is actually really lovely this time of year. I can’t wait until the blooms on the trees start really coming in.
