Maleficent is a dragon who cursed an infant because she wasn’t invited to a christening, this woman CANNOT raise a child.

Queen Griemhilde is a conceited, vain witch who killed a 14 year old because she was prettier than her, this woman CANNOT raise a child.

Jafar hypnotised the sultan, got himself turned into a magician, a genie, just for power and forced a 15 year old to be his slave girl, this man CANNOT raise a child.

Cruella DeVil is a mentally ill woman whose affection consists of derogatory comments, blowing smoke in your face and never taking no for an answer, this woman CANNOT raise a child.

So, let’s say Evie, Carlos, Mal and Jay grow up on an island without magic, surrounded by murderers, thieves, people who did bad things, people who are proud of these things. Let’s say, they don’t teach them to be evil. Let’s say, they teach them ‘don’t let anyone keep you from what you want, you are a queen, a dragon, a genie, you are magic’. Ben has dreams about a girl with green eyes and lilac hair, of a girl who is different, something fae, and he remembers the fairy who cursed his father because he wasn’t kind, so he asks his parents to let some of the villain’s kids stay in Auradon. Show them goodness.

When they arrive, they don’t arrive in a tumbling mess. They don’t even get out of the car, and when the chauffeur opens the door, there’s a stick thin girl with long blue hair staring at her hands, a muscled boy who almost isn’t a boy anymore, rubbing the bands on his arms, the girl from his dreams, eyes glowing, a little boy dressed in fur curled up in their laps. They aren’t used to magic, even though it is in their very cores. So they take time to get used to it, to learn to live with death and power under their skin.

They weren’t sent to get a wand for world domination. They were sent to get a wand for freedom. So it takes them longer to realise just what their parents did. It takes talks and family day and Queen Leiah screaming at the top of her lungs (‘Get away from here, do not touch my grandchild, my daughter will never be mine because of you, how dare you, how dare you?’) for Mal to realise that this isn’t about invitations and pettiness. It’s about a woman with hair as yellow as gold and lips that shame the red red rose, growing up poor, in a cottage, falling to her death at the touch of a spindle, this is about her mother talking about the raven with more fondness than her, this is about all the things her mother did, no matter the reason.

Evie still studies with Doug, and she hasn’t been taught to score a prince, she’s been taught to use her beauty, it is all men want, get rid of them before they get rid of you, do NOT die. So she meets with Doug at his house and Dopey stares at her and then he gets Snow White, who breaks down crying at the sight of this thin, beautiful girl with hair in a colour that has haunted her sleep ('what did she do to you, was it not enough for her to kill me, what has she done to you’) and Evie realises that her mother’s stories are not about men, they are about this woman, about her sister, who was 14 and beautiful and dead. And this is about her and all the bones she can count when she looks in the mirror.

Jay befriends the only other Arabian speaking children he can find, plays gurney, ruthless and self centered and for him, and one day Aladdin picks his children up and Jay does one of those backflips where he stays in the air for too long and it knocks the wind out of him. Jay doesn’t understand because of Aladdin, he sees a thief, who is like him, but it isn’t what makes him think, tourney does the trick because they are a team and the world does not revolve around him, he is not the center of the universe.

Carlos knows that his mother is wrong from the moment he is old enough to master critical thinking. She shrieks and hits and worships fur and he spends his days begging for scraps. There’s no magic in him, no rush he gets from crossing the barrier, so he helps his friends. They have always been his lifeline, so maybe now he can be theirs.

(Credits to dovefacts on Instagram) “Mitchell and I were each others’ rocks in the first film. Then in the second film, we were inseparable. He’s like my best friend, my brother, best friend — which is why it’s so funny that we’re significant others in the film. But it creates this comfort-ability as actors where we get to really go there with each other,” Dove said. “And I think that’s why there’s so much chemistry on screen, because I tell him everything! He’s like my best girlfriend, except he’s a guy. I spend every moment with him on set. It was really lovely to get to explore the relationship more because we both really care about our characters in a weird way that you don’t necessarily have to. Yeah, I laugh with him maybe more than anyone else, except for maybe Thomas who’s my real life boyfriend.” - Dove

Bad Girls Do It Well, Part 2 (Jughead x Reader)

Imagine: You were once a Southside Serpent assigned to train Jughead Jones III in the Serpent way of life. After being shot by a comrade, you decide it’s time to take some time off and focus on your education by transferring to Riverdale High. However, it looks like trouble will follow you wherever you go.

The moment you walked into Riverdale High School, everyone turned to stare.

You were an unrecognizable girl with slightly disheveled hair and a death stare for anyone who made eye contact. Somewhat laughably, you had traded out your comfortable leather jacket with the snake on the back for a pink cardigan and skirt, and you looked as out of place as you felt. You recognized who Jughead had described to be Archie, Betty, Veronica, and another boy their age. Upon seeing you, they whispered at each other and made wild hand gestures. You rolled your eyes, continuing to the locker the secretary had assigned to you.

Fidgeting with the combination lock while trying to read the scrawled out code she had written for you, a familiar figure strode up next to you and leaned on the wall.

“New look, huh?“ Jughead asked. He, too, had left his jacket at home. Surprisingly, he left the beanie too.

Transferring to Riverdale High after having dropped out for a few months and being an emancipated minor was no easy feat. With Jughead’s help, you pulled a sob story about how you realized how awful the real world was and needed a good ole’ public education to set yourself straight, which elicited elitist approval from the school board. Jughead’s foster family was fortunately very sensitive to Jughead’s needs and desires, and signed the transfer forms as soon as he brought up that he missed his old friends (which he didn’t).

You snapped your gum at him. “Some of my mom’s old clothes. Wanted to look inconspicuous.“ You laughed. “Does it look as hideous as it feels?“

Jughead shook his head earnestly. “You look kind of cute, to be honest.”

Rolling your eyes again, you eyed him up and down. “And you? Where’s the hat, kid?”

He grinned. “I dunno, it seemed like you liked me better with it off.” He ran his hands through his hair.

Your face reddened and you shoved him playfully. “I’m still your superior, you know. Just ‘cause I got shot doesn’t mean I can’t kick your ass.“

As the two of you laughed and you finally were able to start sorting your books in your locker, Jughead’s friends approached him.

To See You With Her (Jughead x Reader)

Hi there :) id like to request an imagine along the lines of jughead finds out you self harm / sees your self harm scars? i totally get it if its way to far over your blogs boundaries. thank you :)

Imagine: You’re hopelessly in love with your best friend, Jughead Jones. Watching him grow close with town sweetheart Betty Cooper breaks you inside every time, so you found a not-so healthy way to cope with the feelings of inferiority. Things go so, so wrong when Jughead finds out.

Warnings: mentions of self harm, self harm scars

You bit your thumbnail, trying and failing to focus on the homework in front of you as the words danced around the page. They blurred out of focus, your peripheral vision zoning in on a familiar dark haired boy sitting across the student lounge. Your best friend, Jughead Jones, in all his sincere glory, sinking into a bean bag chair. He sat next to an equally familiar girl with a blonde ponytail and a sweet smile. He leaned in to her, whispering something. She laughed. They would switch roles and the cycle would continue.

It had been like this for two months now. Ever since Betty Cooper had invited your long-time best friend to write with her on the Blue and Gold, they’d been inseparable.

Which should be a great thing. It really should be.

Your growing separation with Jughead was more than losing just a friend. You no longer had someone to text for hours on end into the night, educate you on classic movies (while you educated him on popular ones), and share milkshakes with. You’d be lying if you said you’d never thought of your friendship becoming something more. For your amused glances to become sweet kisses, for your walks alongside the Sweetwater River to become hand-in-hand, that would make life truly perfect.

Any hope of that was severely crushed by the unexpected introduction of Elizabeth Cooper.

You wanted to hate her. You really did. But she was everything you weren’t, and everything you wanted to be. She was beautiful, with a loving, wealthy family. She was smart, but not rude about it. She was kind indiscriminately, and always fought for what was right. She was a River Vixen, for God’s sake. There wasn’t anything about her to even hate.

She was the girl Jughead deserved, and you tried to be happy for him. You really did.

Sometimes, the pain would be too great to be happy for him. Those times when you’d have a great movie in mind to see, but Jughead had already seen it with Betty. Those times when you’d walk home alone, Jughead staying late at the Blue and Gold office. Those times when you’d see Betty walk down the hallway, practically glowing in her River Vixen uniform,Jughead scurrying closely behind. Those moments made you feel like nothing. Worse than nothing.

The pain became so great you had to release it through self-harm. You would politely excuse yourself whenever Jughead and Betty entered a room when you could help it. You would cut yourself in the bathroom, clean and bandage it quietly, and return, able to tolerate their presence. Your sweater and cardigan sleeves hid your greatest secret.

And no one was supposed to know. They really weren’t.

HOW YOU WAKE HIM UP || RIVERDALE. SERIES

ARCHIE ANDREWS: It never took much to wake Archie up. You would wake up, his face stll nuzzled in your neck. Slowly moving away from him, he would stir in his sleep, but stay that way. You pushed the hair from his face, pressing your forehead to his. At this point, he would already be awake, but you would kiss him until he kissed you back. “That–” Archie mutters kissing you again “Is the best way to wake up”

JUGHEAD JONES: Your eyes opened to see bright light pouring into your room. You looked over to see Jughead laying next to you, still asleep. You studiet his calm features, his mouth slightly agape as quiet snores fell from his mouth. Smiling to yourself, you ran your hands up and down his bare chest. He groaned lowly, wrapping his arms tighter around you, nuzzling his face in your neck. “Wake up Jugg” You cooed in his ear. He signed slowly, a shiver going down your spine as his breath fall against your neck. “Jughead” You said rubbing his shoulders. “Fine” He groaned, his voice muffed against your neck.

REGGIE MANTLE: When you wake up, you typically laying on Reggie. You would lean up, smiling down at his calm sleeping face. “Reggie” You whisper, running your fingers through his long tangled hair. “Reggie babe, wake up” He groaned lowly, rolling over, bringing you with him. He would pin you under him, his face nuzzled in your neck, his hair ticking your face. “Reggie let me up!” You gigled, playing with his hair. “C'mon Hero, we need to start our day” You laughed, pushing him off of you “Fine” He groaned against your neck

hey, its me I’m back. I hope you like it tell me if you want more x
