We have 24 hours to make this the most voted on poll in Tumblr history
Can you imagine suing Boeing and coming home to find Boeing's faulty plane parts washed up in your backyard?
First Contact is still the best Star Trek movie because it reveals that the hippie-dippie post-scarcity future of the Federation only exists because of profit motive.
Ds9 is the best series because sisko stops just short of looking into the camera and telling the audience directly that all the hippy progressivism is paternalistic lecturing from high status earth dwellers and doesn’t really exist outside the federation core

Tariffs only get passed on to the end customer. Companies aren't going to eat the cost.
Same with fuel costs, shop lifting... it all gets passed to the customer to keep up the profit line.
But when faced with a choice between the same old shitty product made in china for $1 $24.99 vs a domestic product that now costs $19.99 but their wages are higher because demand for workers has gone up, chances are high we will choose the domestic product that continues to employ our friends, family, and neighbors. This meme is far too simplistic and leaves out a plethora of other factors.
@hatesaltrat gets it right.
The original post is nothing more than a talking point that has been pumped into the cellophane pockets of air in the bubble wrap brains of the leftist. It is good to catch and pop these bubbles early on.
The deep state still controls the media and the courts. We still have a role in this fight. Stay engaged and point out the fallacies in the liberal arguments. Keep popping the bubble wrap. It's fun!
I ain’t sayin it won’t be uncomfortable for a little bit, but it will raise our standard of living all across this nation.
Plus, @hatesaltrat , I have a thing against profiting off of slave labor. I don't like it, and i try to do my part to avoid it.
Oh 100% Buddy!!! Funny how there are riots over making sure our imported goods are made by children who are paid in rice and lack of bearings per hour. There was a great documentary on PBS about the Chinese child slaves forced to manufacture Mardi Gras beads. the conditions are awful. Why would anyone riot in support of maintaining that system? Or for the Indian children to continue digging up rare earth minerals? It’s enough to make a thinking person sick really.
Something I've been thinking. I often see Leftists lionizing more "permissive parents" and demonizing stricter ones who do more to try and pass their values to their kids. And yet now they're freaking out over what teens may be getting into online with their reactions to the "manosphere" or Andrew Tate (which I also think are bad but probably for different reasons than leftists).
I think I figured out why: Back in the day, most of the teenage subcultures were left wing. Leftist activists pushed for parents to not view these with any scrutiny because it made more leftists. But now? Now those same teens might become RIGHT wingers. The places the Left thought were bound to be theirs aren't anymore, and it's TERRIFYING them.
Pretty much. The left used to be the outsiders trying to change the system. Now they are the system, so you see all the same people who were saying "fight the power" and "question authority" telling you to listen to the people in charge and never question anything that comes from "experts". That learning and trying to figure things out for yourself is bad and listening blindly to the people with authority is good. Because they're now the ones in positions of authority. They're in charge of the college campuses and the government agencies, so now it's bad to question anything those organizations say.

lol if you want less antisemitism maybe stop raising your hand whenever someone says war machine run by ancient demonic child rapists. Literally nobody said anything about jews
emptying and reloading a gun with practiced efficiency so you think i'm an expert marksman but you later find out that's just how i stim
turning the safety catch on and off like i'm clicking a pen until everyone gets really mad at the noise but no one says anything because i have a gun and they don't
literally a quote from Marcus Aurelius
HAD to go and dig for the quote. “sex is the friction of a piece of gut and, following a sort of convulsion, the expulsion of some mucus.” marcus was just being reductive, but purrp takes his analysis one step further: he correctly identifies that sex is stupid
how can civilisation be in decline when social media abounds with philosophers greater than Marcus Aurelius
