Ludwig was finishing a song before he heard a voice. Strange, why is someone here? It seems that the guards were a bit off guard. However, he froze when he heard the other’s voice. Soon to lower his claws from the ivory keys of the piano, he carefully turned around look back to the girl.
She seemed to be a rather proper girl. Average looking at best. especially juggling by her pink hair and general looks. Perhaps someone he could have a nice chat with.
At first, he seemed to be one that would intimidate others by due sheer appearance but that doesn’t seem to be the case. In fact, his hands were crossed as he calmly smiled at her.
“ Why thank you. In fact, I am a composer as so much as the Lord of zhis Castle. You may call me Ludwig und if I could ask, who are you? “
The composer was the lord of the castle? Wow, that was incredible! She hoped she would make a good first impression, after all, this was a lord she was speaking to. She put on a warm smile and started introducing herself. “It’s nice to meet you, Ludwig. My name’s Claris!”

The sounds of a piano echoed from within the hallways of the Castle. Even after the Concert, Ludwig still finds pleasure in music. It was part of his passion, his pursuit. Even for a Koopa of his status, he needs some time to himself to reflect whatever bothered him as a means to calm himself.
The guards around said area was monitoring the hallways to ensure intruders don’t get through making it hard on any accounts, especially during the Holidays where everything is peaceful.
Give or take, the blunette was not foreign to unexpected visitors and even while he was looking at his music sheets, he can’t help but to look around for a bit as his claws gracefully pressed against the ivory keys of his piano, thankfully enough to the point that he wasn’t messing up.
He took his music seriously.
Claris was enchanted by the enticing noise playing across the castle, as she was walking she was stopped by the guards. “I..I’m just visiting, don’t mind me.” She said nervously, seeing as Claris meant no harm they let her off the hook, although they still gave her a piercing look. She continued walking across the castle hallways until she found the source of the noise. Of all people - or creatures, she wasn’t expecting it to be a turtle-like creature with an interesting hair-do. “Um, hello.” She said quietly, “I don’t mean to intrude but the music you’re playing is beautiful.”
The two Nightmaren followed behind the dreamer. Twylight was walking as Twilin, and Nyght glided next to Twylight. They were both a little uneasy about how NiGHTS would react to them, but finding NiGHTS was probably the best decision to make at the time.
After a while of walking, she found NiGHTS. Claris explained to NiGHTS what happened, and NiGHTS seemed to have a look that was mixed with curiosity and anxiety. Claris gestured for NiGHTS to follow her and they did, then they were right in front of Twilin, Nyght, and Twylight. “I found NiGHTS and explained the situation to them. They’re willing to help!”

“Wow, I don’t even know how long it’s been… it feels like forever ago and yesterday at the same time,” he gasped slightly. He hadn’t really thought about how long ago it was when he met NiGHTS, surely it wasn’t the same time as Claris did, otherwise they most likely would have encountered each other.
“Maybe about a year ago… possibly closing in on two… I’m sure Helen would have a better idea than me, though. “
“I know how you feel, many years have passed but it feels like I’ve always been here.” Nightopia was almost like a second home to her, just remembering how she had only truly entered the place a while back seemed peculiar.
She was expecting Will to have appeared here recently, as she hadn’t seen him around. But the possibility he’s been around the same time as her shocked her. “Really?” Claris’ eyes widened in surprise, “If you have been around here for two years it’s strange how we haven’t met... But then again, it’s also strange how we’re suddenly meeting now of all times.”

NiGHTS’ hands twiddled around a bit. “Oh… I’m sorry. I know a Nightopia is supposed to reflect the Visitor, but it feels strange that even the negative side of things show.”
They gazed up at one of the flashing shapes. It danced the story of a small shape attempting to sing, but getting attacked by monsters. What didn’t she know about Claris?? They had known each other for so long…
“I’m sorry to digress, but sometimes I wonder, what would my own Nightopia would look like?? I know I could never have one, but would it even be pleasant to visit?? If they’re capable of producing areas like this…”
"It weirds me out too, there are some scary creatures that are in a Nightopia but I’ve never been in a Nightopia that’s similar to a nightmare... It’s even stranger that you haven’t experienced it either, NiGHTS....” Her anxiety had been lifted slightly as NiGHTS started talking about their Nightopia. It was good that NiGHTS was here right now, especially during the more darker times. A slight smile appeared on Claris’ face. “Your Nightopia would be amazing and I would love to visit it, that’s for sure!”
NiGHTS snickers lightly and reaches out to gently prod Claris’ reddened cheek with the tip of their index finger. “Oh, you’re just too adorable sometimes, Claris - I can’t help teasing you, hehe~”
They’ve already gotten the reaction they want out of the poor girl, so there’s no point in teasing her on the subject further.
“In all seriousness, maybe you could sing him a song? I’m sure Elliot would like that - you do have a lovely singing voice, after all~”
It was a relief NiGHTS wasn’t serious on the idea, that was something she really wasn’t ready for. But singing? She was more than ready. She could do that with ease.
“Yeah, I can definitely do that!” She grinned, why didn’t she think of that idea beforehand? “I should find a song from a band Elliot likes and sing that!”
NiGHTS doesn’t miss the faint flush that forms on Claris’ cheeks and it makes their grin broaden into a smirk - perhaps it’s a tiny bit mean of them, but Visitors are just so easy to tease when it comes to subjects like this and, sometimes, the First Level just can’t help themselves!! (It’s in their nature to be rather mischievous, after all…)
The violet dream being leans their face into the palm of their hand and regards Claris with a knowing look at her blatant attempt at dodging their suggestion.
“Ohhh, I don’t know, Claris~” NiGHTS begins, an obvious teasing edge to their tone, “Is that what I mean~? Hehehe~”
As much as she wanted to stick to that lie, she would feel bad about it. Lying wasn’t exactly her strong suit after all, and she felt like NiGHTS knew she was lying. She looked away, the red on her face still prominent. “Well... No. You don’t. That’s the name of a chocolate back home. You mean something else.”
“A gift for Elliot, huh? Hmm, let’s see…”
NiGHTS gives the matter some thought for a moment or two before their facial features seem to light up and they shoot Claris a playful, toothy grin.
“How about a kiss? I think he’d like that from you, Claris~”
The First Level gives her a wink and snickers lightly.
That surprised Claris... Kiss Elliot? She was expecting a suggestion, but nothing like that. A tint of red was prominent on her cheeks now. The thought just seemed so embarrassing! Besides, she hasn’t even had her first kiss yet. How would that even work? She didn’t want to make Elliot uncomfortable either, him being upset over a bad Christmas gift seemed much better than that. “Y-You mean... Like a Hershey’s Kiss right, NiGHTS?” It was obvious what NiGHTS meant, but she still tried to dodge it.

Nyght and Twylight thought for a moment, discussing the matter telepathically. After a few seconds they made an agreement.
“That’s a good idea,” Twylight smiled. “We could use all the help we can get.”
“Okay!” Claris grinned, “I’ll also tell Elliot when I get the chance! I don’t want Nightopia nor Nightmare to go into ruins!” She started walking and searching for NiGHTS. Usually when NiGHTS disappeared and left her on her own, it was hard to find them again. She was hoping she was lucky this time and they were close by.
