 You stepped outside a few minutes ago, needing to clear your head and find the courage to complete what you started. Despite the meticulous planning and preparation, a sense of dread and foreboding is clouding your mind. 

You shouldn’t be here. 

 Obscured by the shadows, you look over the terrace to the driveway. Cars worth more than your entire apartment are parked below. One might mistake the red-vested men wandering between the vehicles as valets, but you know better. 

Turning your face up, you take a breath of the clean air and shake out your hands. You can do this, no you have to do this, you have no other choice. If you fail…. no, you can’t think about that. You will do this. Taking your hand out of your pocket, you check your phone, the small screen glowing in the dark corner, you cover it with your hand.
