so i started reading the maze runner books this week. haven’t finished the first serie yet, but i’m srsly considering the author ships newtmas too. all these little things they say and do? i mean newt liked thomas less than his first 24 hours in the glade. always teasing him and calling him “tommy” and giving him all kinds of nicknames. gally said “tommy” in a mocking way, but newt said it in a very endearing way. and he’s one of the few people thomas actually liked in the glade. and i think that first night thomas spent hiding in the forest after he heard teresa speaked in his mind, it’s newt who threw the blankets on thomas. like thomas had thought “someone played the glade mother”. because it’s newt who found him and i always see newt as a mother in the glade. and i think thomas knew it’s him.

no wonder the films make people ship newtmas. because it’s supposed to be like that.

hey. no offense. for real. but u got no clue who you’re talking to. i had a twitter account that i ran for liek two years dedicated to newt being a top. i posted about it every single day. i haven’t touched it in two years and i still won’t give anyone the @ topnewt, bc it is so engrained into my being. and in that time i never stopped fighting for one second against deniers like. against the people who fought against, who looked at his twink body and said, “this is not a boy who can top. look at him.”

AND WHAT HAVE I SEEN?? i’ve seen a top. i’ve seen a top who shoves thomas against walls, who shoves his hand against his chest and tells thomas to sit his ass down until that’s exactly what thomas’s fucked ass does. i’ve seen a top whose smile lights up thomas’s world, whose confidence helps thomas get through each day braver than the last. i see a top who wants tHAT FUCKING ASS!
