I just found some apps that have blown my mind. And no this isn't an add im just REALLY HAPPY ABOUT THIS.

Image

The first one (Refuge Restrooms) shows you where the gender neutral bathrooms are in your area and you can add any ones that you find too.

It also can tell you where to find them. Here is a random example:

The 2nd app (Voice tools) is an app that can help you with your voice. It shows you what gender your voice sounds like when you speak, so it can be useful to help train it. If you look up 'voice training trans' it should be the first thing to pop up.

Here's a picture of it:

I hope this was useful! I think these are pretty awesome things to have around.

I want a lover that values my heart. Someone who takes their time to understand me and is patient with me. Someone who is consistent, open-minded and loving. I want a lover that makes me feel safe. Someone that makes me feel like home every time I am around them or talking to them. Someone that I can connect souls with. I want a lover that values me.

white wlw don’t actually care about homophobia

white wlw only care about upholding white supremacy in anyway they can and use being gay as a shield for why they can’t possibly be complicit in upholding white supremacy. they only care about homophobia when it affects them and they only care about homophobia to look like woke feminists

if you only care about a white lesbian in brownface being killed or a straight white woman playing a wlw in some wack ass bland action movie but not wlwoc who are killed off and all the other shit wlwoc have to put up with, then fuck you and your sapphic mayonnaise supremacy

u guys should reblog this, esp if ur a white wlw

This reminds me of a quote by James Baldwin that I think is really relevant to this post. He said:

“I think white gay people feel cheated because they were born, in principle, in a society in which they were supposed to be safe. The anomaly of their sexuality puts them in danger, unexpectedly. Their reaction seems to me in direct proportion to their sense of feeling cheated of the advantages which accrue to white people in a white society. There’s an element, it has always seemed to me, of bewilderment and complaint. Now that may sound very harsh, but the gay world as such is no more prepared to accept black people than anywhere else in society.”

White LGBT+ people benefit from white supremacy, whether they want to believe it or not. When there are a growing number of LGBT+ people supporting and joining far-right conservative politics and movements that actively harm black and brown people, especially black and brown immigrants, that proves even white people in marginalized groups still uphold systems of oppression.
