Okay so I tried drawing another picture from the official phantom Insta. Turns out whatever’s going on with Erik’s boat is very hard to draw and that combined with the lighting be kinda complicated…yeah it was a chore, but like this chores you like to do cause they’re not too bad.

the face I’m not 100% happy with but I tried. Anyways was nice trying to draw someone rather light haired for once so here we go

so I’m back…had some shit to take care of. Also the drawing was waaayyy more challenging than I thought. I thought that if I had the pose the rest would be more easy…pretty happy with the result thought
anyways it’s inspired by a rehearsal picture from the Phantom insta account, cause I always wanted to draw something for ‘stranger then you’ve dreamed it’ unfortunately I never could do the posing, but here we are. So yeah

but for now there’s this little interlude, cause I discovered the other popular Musical that takes place in 1900s France, and of course I couldn’t resist drawing an unhinged obsessive Frenchman. I tried to be somewhat book accurate, but I haven’t read it yet, so I dunno

“The Loin King of the Opera” or whatever is going on
So I’ve tried to get over my aversion for drawing backgrounds…by drawing something where the character interacts with the background (sort of) and truth be told it turned out alright. This of course is a drawing of the picture found on the official Phantom account.
Also for once I even drew both of the Phantoms hands! Which for some reason is the rarity Trying to figure out the lighting of the original was a bit challenging, but I think it still turned out fine.
