Rose can admit the darkest truths that maybe this isnt the life for her - she cant with anyone else. not even lissa cause it will pain her

Rose asked him to train her, this is big. Rose is number 1, she also has genetics, and a legend as a mother (though doesnt help), she has mikhail as well - but it's Dimitri she wants

She learns from him, to understand not to go head first. To seek out help in bad situations - Dimitri is her partner

Rose can feel that spark when they fight

when they dance, her hands lingering on him

when they talk she feels it - he is her person

Dimitri chooses her, this means a lot to Rose. No one chooses her, the Royals come first, Duty comes above all else. (putting Lissa aside for this - even then she puts Lissa first)

Rose chooses Dimitri Belikov to be her person, to see all the sides of her. Broken, hurt, angry, happy, sassy, strong. They even move as one & he challenges her to be better
