Well, it made me not want to watch it, so all things in balance, I guess.
As far as I am aware, there is no 'conspiracy nonsense' in Dungeon Meshi at all. Unless that's what OP calls the plot of people gradually solving the mystery of what dungeons are.
#but also big lmao at op for basically saying that 'it had a change of tone so it's bad'.#like. the story still stays light-hearted comedy that is mostly about cooking and eating even after the 'tone change'#like. it's not even a tone change. falin gets fucking eaten in the first few minutes of the show. it was on the darker side from the start.
