I’m just kinda sick of having this as a side blog and wish it was my main and not attached to my personal blog. It’s kinda why I don’t post a lot on here. I can’t reply to people easily etc

What language are you learning?
I’ve been learning Russian for a few years and I started learning Ukrainian last year. I would love to learn other Slavic languages and some other languages but I just don’t have the time or brain power 😭
I would rather be doing anything else than weaving in ends. I have some blankets that still just have ends flying free bc I don’t want to fucking weave them in 😂😭😭😭

Well I’ve tried about 10 different ways to add more colors and it just doesn’t look as good as the first one 🥲🥲🥲🥲
Whenever I get back into crochet I get a flood of ideas and I can never just focus on one 😅
Here is what I came up with yesterday on a whim. I’ve been wanting to do a vishyvanka-inspired pattern for a looong time but haven’t had the brain power to do it. Нарешті я зробила це!

I came up with a hibiscus pattern after my most recent trip to Hawaii. Should I go off the rails and stick with a pentagon, making my life 10x harder, or should I go easy with a hexagon shape 😂
You can do the pentagon!
There are a couple of ways to tile pentagons (I'm assuming you're making separate motifs for an afghan, let me know if I'm wrong). One leaves square "empty" spaces, another leaves long, narrow diamonds. If you put leaves in those fill-in shapes, you'll end up with something very lush and pretty.
You can also make irregular pentagons which tile perfectly! I like this one. It would fit a hibiscus well, I think.
I definitely want to see what you come up with.
