I’m listening my very extensive music collection in order to find songs for my music videos. I think there is four videos I want to make with Snow Patrol songs lol.

The Poldark Podcast Gals are back for season 3 of everyone’s favorite Cornish drama! Join us as we discuss and analyse each brand new episode as it air on the BBC! This week we are discussing 3x01 . We delve deep into the notion of a successful adaption, what the hell Ross’s problem actually is as well as a sidebar into how to metaphor. Now with bonus zac effron!

Love you guys!!! Your analysis is great. In particular I loved and and agree with 99% of Rita's list. 1%- I like GC. I was so upset with last season finale that I was afraid to complain again but you ladies hit the nail on the head. It seems very soap opera, short attention span (sesame Street ), choppy editing, no flow, everything you all covered. There was no R&D electricity and without a real reconciliation the pregnancy seems like it should wait for another episode when they are happy and have we seen some playfulness / romance (after least seem like they like each other-- smile). The beach scene was odd and ?hokey?. The weirdest thing was Ross still pineing (?) For E and the stalking outside of Trenwith - really weird. Also, R didn't come home till morning - wouldn't D wonder or at least ask about that? Was she suppose to know he was chasing demons (after stalking his 1st love??)--way too much odd stuff. Thankyou for reading and THANKYOU for putting on the podcast-- can't wait for next week's episode.

Poldark Podcast Book Club – The Black Moon, Book One, Chapters 1-5

We are VERY excited to start the book club! We’ve never tried to host a virtual book club before, so bear with us as we embark on this new adventure! We’ve got some questions for you to consider as you read through the chapters. Please copy the questions AND REBLOG this post with your answers. You don’t have to answer all of them, but we would love it if you can!

We will summarize the discussion on the podcast that we post the week of January 29th.

Ready to start? Here we go!

  1. How did you read the chapters? Paperback, e-book or audiobook
  2. Were you immediately drawn into the story—or did it take a while?
  3. New Characters: Who was your favorite new character introduced to the Poldark saga in The Black Moon book 1, ch 1-5 and why?
  4. Can you pick out a passage that strikes you as particularly profound or interesting? Please share it and why.
  5. Who in the book would you like to meet? What would you ask or say?
  6. If you could insert yourself as a character in the book, what role would you play?
  7. Does the book remind you of your own life? An event? A person—like a friend, family member, boss, co-worker?
  8. If you were to talk with the author, what would you want to know?
  9. Based on what you’ve read so far – what scenes do you hope to see depicted in the screen adaptation for the 2017 series?

Finally, let us know: was the chapter assignment too little or too much? This will help us course correct the pacing, if we need to.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts! – Rita, Dalanda & Michele

1. Originally ordered paper books but started reading preview e versions and ended buying all e versions before paper books arrived. Loved them all!! 2. Immediately. Started watching TV show after episode with the shirtless scene. Had to see what all the ’ hubbub’ was about. Loved it and went to pbs to see the ones I missed. I’ve been obsessed ever since. 3. Drake - not sure why. 4. The frogs or toads in the pond. 5. Any and all. 6.Demelza? 7. No, not at all 8. How much of the stories were based on actual people he knew. 9. The frogs or toads.

so sorry I jumped the gun on this-- next time I'll check my pages better.
