Witchcraft & Meds

For everyone with mental and physical stuff that they have to take medication for! I’m both mentally and chronically ill and take a LOT of meds each day. There’s so much negativity about magic and meds, so let’s find a way to incorporate both into your life! <3

Pill bottles:

  • Charge the bottles (while empty), the bowl you place your dose in, or your pill organizer in the sun or moon
  • Decorate them to look more witchy! Don’t cover up important labels. [X]
  • Draw sigils on the bottom to help minimize side effects and so you don’t forget a dose!
  • Use empty bottles for anything witchy (spell bottles, herb storage, etc.) [X]
  • Place crystals or herbs around/on the bottle
  • Use color correspondences - doodle on the lid or bottom

Meds:

  • Keep in cool pill boxes
  • Whisper an enchantment or blessing over them for desired effects (easy to swallow, less side effects, doing their job, etc.)
  • Think or say an affirmation with each one (I say so many affirmations a day!)
  • Take with (drinking safe) moon water or infused water.
  • Also use a cool cup, could be decorated, covered in sigils, using color correspondences, and more!
  • Coat your pills with honey before taking them to sweeten up your life (especially helpful for the gross tasting/fast dissolving meds)

IV treatments and injections (no needle mentions):

  • Listen to witchy music
  • Draw healing/soothing sigils
  • Keep crystals in your pocket or bag
  • Bring infused water with you (if using herbs, check for interactions)
  • Bring a spell bottle/sachet to your treatment for good vibes, quick healing, minimal pain, and the like.
  • Sigils on the band-aid!

This meme is a MURDER ATTEMPT.

I am absolutely fucking serious. The original meme, without the big red denial, is someone's attempt to fucking kill people.

There is NO SAFE DOSAGE of pennyroyal oil. Even Mother Earth News says there's no reason to use pennyroyal essential oil for ANYTHING, even topically or as a fragrance, for fuckssake! That should give you some idea about how dangerous it is!

Pennyroyal tea, plant matter in hot water, is a traditional abortifacient. It is *incredibly* dangerous, induces abortion by bringing the body close to organ failure (and frequently pushing the system right over the edge, because dosage is impossible to meter), but I would drink a gallon of it before I took a half-teaspoon of pennyroyal essential oil.

Two teaspoons, taken across 48 hours, has successfully killed someone.

Three teaspoons taken as a single dosage killed the consumer within THREE HOURS.

There is NO SAFE DOSAGE! FOR PENNYROYAL OIL INTERNALLY! NONE!

The person who made this meme is PURPOSEFULLY, ACTIVELY, trying to get desperate people killed!

Pennyroyal oil contains pulegone, which is highly toxic, particularly to the liver. Ingestion can lead initially to gastrointestinal distress such as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Later on, it can lead to failure of the liver and kidneys, resulting in bleeding, seizures, multiple organ failure, and death.

There is no antidote for pennyroyal oil poisoning.

- straight from poison control

witch tip: if you’re like me and don’t want to hurt people too much in your curses, curse them so that they feel the same amount of pain they put you through!

A reasonable curse

Mirrors are a great way to do this. Use them to reflect the shit they’re doing to you right back to them. Mirrors ftw.

WRT the last rebagel

"What if I can't buy xyz ethically for my witchcraft?"

Then throw that witchcraft out.

That witchcraft is bad.

Rebuild, change, avert, destroy that witchcraft that demands that you buy things that are too expensive (a) and unethically sourced (b).

Your witchcraft should be customized to you.

And if you're perfectly comfortable buying unethical things for your witchcraft and make no attempt to throw that witchcraft out, then I'll throw you out with your witchcraft. There's no seat at the table for you. You can't sit with us.
