Goma Actif is a Congolese nonprofit that has boots on the ground in Goma, DRC, at the Kanyaruchinya displacement camp, providing food to people who have fled the latest offensive by the M23 rebel group.

The Congolese people have expressed frustration that international organizations are slow and fickle when it comes to distributing aid. Goma Actif functions entirely within DRCongo and therefore bypasses international red tape to deliver aid more reliably than external sources.

We are still suffering. It is the same suffering and much more severe in light of the siege that we have been experiencing for six months, lack of healthy food, drink and medicine. We have no choice but to ask for help until we get out of the tragic situation we are in. We sincerely thank everyone who donated even one euro.We ask those who cannot donate to share the link. Today, Rawan and Razan are thalassemia patients receiving blood transfusions, and there is no room for them inside the hospital because it is crowded with sick and wounded people.

Heartfelt thanks to all supporters. But the support is small and not enough to cover the expensive travel expenses for my brother’s family. We need your support. The situation is getting worse. Twins Rawan and Razan need a blood transfusion. They are thalassemia patients and need a blood transfusion every two weeks. The last time the hospital told them that there was no blood and the family must try themselves to obtain a bag of blood with a donation from family members. My brother's health

condition has worsened due to the lack of biological needles(Humira). It was scarce in the past and he had to endure the pain and now it is no longer available at all. The whole family is sad to see their suffering without being able to extend a helping hand to them. The faster we transfer the money to the Egyptian travel agency, the faster this family will be able to leave Gaza. Please share this fundraiser widely.
