I mean, I told y’all about the time I got so nervous doing one of these bad boys in first grade that I fell out of my desk and it fell on top of me and nearly cracked my skull open and then I wept not out of pain but out of terror that I’d fail because they took me to the nurse instead of letting me finish the test? I mean, granted, there was blood everywhere, I had a concussion, my face was swelling by the second, and it was the right decision for me and my screaming classmates to get me out of the room and into medical care. But my anxiety-ridden 7 year old self was convinced that I’d never get into college if I failed that math test.

That was me. These things still stress me out.
