Hey. I'm Ralph. Wreck-it Ralph. I'm the Bad Guy from the game Fix-it Felix Junior.
Our game was put in a new museum section recently. It went Out of Order one too many times, but I guess Litwak wanted to keep us around for some reason. Uh... yeah. That Turbo. Oh, don't give me that look! I'm not explaining this again, so go look at the page that says "Nice to meet you!"

“Site for sore eyes,” Knowsmore began to energetically list off once more.
Now latching to the new word, leaning even further over his book as his mouth spouted off possible searches as quickly as they popped up in his brain.
“Sitecore. sSiteground. Site reliability engineer. Sitemap. Sitetracker. Sites like cragslist.”
Turbo scowled, a brief glitch flickering through him.
“Would you stop it?!”

Vanellope stifled a little snicker.

“Aww, calm down, Turbo - I think he’s just tryin’ to guess what you’re gonna say.”

It was an amazing sight indeed, one that truly earned the right to be called breathtaking…
Though before too much could be taken in, suddenly they were all falling. Their capsules all together taking a sharp nose dive downwards towards a circular building. Only beginning to slow again after they’d entered what seemed like an information center for new users, or a hub just to enter the internet for those returning.
Each of their capsules, including the little Litwak’s and a multitude of others flying with them, thankfully slowed just enough before a smooth floor. Covered in a rainbow of colored pads each of their vehicles came to a graceful stop over. Before the capsule’s themselves broke apart, vanishing into thin air as their host was deposited safely on the floor.
Except for Ralph, whose capsule dragged by his weight all but smashed apart onto the ground that his face was quickly introduced to.
Turbo felt a bit more secure as the souls of his sneakers touched the floor again, but that wasn’t saying much. Maybe he wasn’t high up anymore, but now he was in the middle of this huge crowd of people, buildings, vehicles, and who knew-what-else.
“I’m getting sensory overload just looking at this place,” he muttered.

“Well, we just gotta find that eBay place an’ we’ll be back home before ya know it!” Vanellope declared, turning around in place as though she could find it just sitting there, waiting for them.

The buildings were too tall for Turbo to glimpse most of the signs, let alone see if any of them said “eBay.”

“Do you see it, Ralph?”

Ralph climbed to his feet, brushing himself off as he joined in the search.

“Uh… No. Not really.”

“Man.” Turbo shook his head. “This place is so huge! How does anyone ever find anything around here…?”

Indeed, it was incredibly large. The tall skyscrapers of the seemingly endless city stretching far beyond what they could see. While white, hovering box shaped vehicles sped along numerous megabyte freeways between their user’s visited websites.

However the skyscrapers, though impressive and easy to spot, were not the only buildings. Others just a short walking distance from them surrounded the outside of the hub they had been delivered to. Including one building that stood out among all the smooth, modern-esque websites boarding it.

It appeared to be based off the design of a university library, with tall wooden columns supporting a triangular roof. Where a carved wooden statue of an open book rested over the words painted in gold upon the wood, “the searchbar.” Apparently powered by a site titled “Knowsmore,” as the name glowed in bright neon blue between two hanging university banners. Just above a long horizontal counter and an open window, showcasing a library of aged books.

One of them being searched through behind the short counter, by a small purple egg shaped man wearing black graduation regalia.

Turbo’s eyes were drawn to the structure, since it was much closer to his eye level, and he pointed towards it.

“It says ‘search’ over there. Maybe it’ll help…?”

“Let’s go find out!” Vanellope chimed, immediately scurrying off ahead.

Whatever system seemed to control this place, didn’t seem to care about his clumsy position. Lifting the heavy weight wrecker with no effort as the glowing light shifted to a rusty orange beneath him.
Rising up to take form the capsule vehicle around him, though that was when problems arouse. The system that had lifted his weight with ease making zero effort to alter the size of the capsule to accommodate sure a large man. Squishing his arms, legs, and head into the capsule as small as it could force him to be. Before violently launching him into the wire lined tunnel at speeds he was never meant to go. After the two racers ahead of him.
In his red capsule, Turbo looked at the smear of the tunnel in front of him, catching his breath.
This was fast. Not just racecar-fast — speed-of-light fast. And he wasn’t entirely sure how comfortable he was with it. Turbo wasn’t afraid of speed in the least, but he liked to be in control, and now he wasn’t at all.

Somewhere ahead of him, Vanellope certainly didn’t share his sentiments. She whooped with delight, twisting around in her seat in an attempt to see the boys behind her.

“Isn’t this great?!”

Turbo smiled nervously.

This wasn’t like when he was up high and felt fear squirming through him. He wasn’t quite scared. But he wasn’t exactly comfortable, either…

The speed they were going only seemed to pick up as they flew, further and further down the darkened tunnel. Illuminated only by a streak of light peeking through the wire every few feet, flashing around them again and again.

Suddenly the world went white. The tunnel being left far behind them as the speed picked up more and more. Pulling at their bodies, even while protected by the colored capsule surrounding each of them. A rainbow of colors flying past at light speeds, as they flew onward without stop towards a bright light in the center of it all.

Turbo’s breath caught, and he gazed around as their surroundings solidified.

The internet was a city. A huge city — an endless city, with towers higher than he’d ever seen in his life…

Vanellope was just as enraptured, if not more.

She strained to see anything and everything she could, gaze flickering between all the different buildings.

This was... just...! Wow...!!

A tiny Mr Litwak that promptly turned away from them without a word. Pacing down the track branching off the platform, leading directly to a sealed circular door in the dark wall. A door that opened as he paused upon a glowing green step before it, revealing a tunnel lined with enormous wires leading into darkness.
Gravity lost meaning to the little Litwak, floating up high above the step as a female voice listing off an IP address echoed through the chamber. Green light surrounded their tiny hovering body, forming a semi-translucent capsule like vehicle complete with a seat and a control console. Moments before the vehicle with the little Litwak inside were sling-shoted into the tunnel with more force then a Sweet Seeker could pack.
The door slammed shut almost immediately behind him.
Turbo stared after him, at where the entrance to the tunnel had been.
“…why do I have a bad feeling that we’re s’posed to go in there?”

Vanellope’s reaction was much the opposite.

“C’mon!” she shouted, running up and jumping onto the green step.

The event with the little Litwak repeated without a moment of delay.

Only a second after her feet touched the step, gravity seemed to switch off for her. Carrying her over the step, the light shifting to a soft teal that rose up around her. Forming a teal, near translucent capsule vehicle while simultaneously sealing her inside it.

As this took place, the female voice echoed throughout the chamber. Listing off the same IP address as before, as the heavy door opened and capsule containing the girl sling-shoted into the tunnel. Vanishing behind the heavy door slamming shut behind her.

Turbo sighed loudly, stepping up after her and bracing himself for what was coming next…

Just as he’d witnesses twice before, his body was carried off from the glowing step by some unseen force.

The green light beneath him shifting to a bright red, rising up in numerous pixel shaped participial before taking form of the vehicle capsule around him. A seat taking form beneath him as the capsule sealed shut, leaving only a moment to hear the IP address listed off again before the doors opened as he too was launched at racing speeds into the darkened tunnel.

Ralph was admittedly starting to grow nervous... but he wasn’t about to leave the kids on their own. And he certainly didn’t want to be alone in this place.

“Wait for me!” he called after them, scrambling over... only to trip on the step.

Vanellope, on the other hand, was practically giddy.
She was going to save her game! And she was going to see the internet, too! No doubt it would be cool, considering how many of those Player kids had it. She could hardly wait…!!
But when they emerged from the cable, Turbo was…confused, to say the least. And underwhelmed.
They were in a dark, low-ceilinged space with a few weird structures placed here and there. No view of the outside. No colors, no lights…

Vanellope frowned, starting to wander around the dark place.

“… Where is everythin’…?”

Meanwhile, in the player’s world far beyond their sight and awareness.

Mr Litwak slumped back in his desk chair tucked away in the corner of in his office. Taking the moment after just having said good-bye to his last employee after the long workday to simply take a breath. Before his eyes traveled over to the router manual laying open on his desk. A certain giddiness filling them at the reminder of yesterday’s purchase, as his hands seemed to gravitate towards the keyboard on his desk. Brushing the manual aside as with a shake of his computer mouse, the monitor brightened to life.

Already he’d read through the manual. Having gone through all the set up earlier in the day. Only needing now to create an internet password, before he dragged his mouse over to the icon set in the center of his screen.

“And we, are, online,” he muttered with finality, clicking the mouse and igniting a chain of events that quickly lead to router out in the arcade.

Bringing power and illuminating the dark interior chamber of the device, with a practical light show for those lucky enough to be inside at the moment of activation.

Turbo barely had time to process how underwhelmed he was when the router lit up like a fireworks show. The strange structures glowed and rotated; things began to hum and spark.

He glitched, jumping back instinctively.

Vanellope jumped as well, glancing around with wide eyes.

Whoa… Was it something she said?

Maybe… or maybe not… There was nothing to indicate the accuracy of that idea, though seemed like whatever was happening wasn’t finished yet.

A green light emerged from above them. Bathing them with its glow as energy surges and sparked between four modules hanging from a structure on the ceiling.

All at once the energy thundered, clashing down violently on the pad beneath it. Filling the air with static as a small figure took quickly form from the energy. Their square shaped head and scrawny limbs glowing with an overwhelming bright green. Though it faded within seconds, the violent light show ending as quickly as it began. Leaving nothing but the figure, with their identity clear to all of them.

A tiny, large headed Mr Litwak.

Ralph screamed at the... thing’s sudden appearance, tripping over his own feet, falling, and scrambling backwards.

“AAGH!! It’s a gremlin - it’s a gremlin!!”

“This way!”
Turbo ran towards the Fix-It Felix Jr. outlet, making sure that he was good and lost in the crowd before glitching himself invisible. Unable to be seen, he waited in the wings for Surge to pass by…
Sure enough Surge followed, rushing through the crowd until he paused as he lost Turbo. Craning his neck as he searched desperately for the boy leading him, before shaking his head.
With a burst of light, Surge’s body dematerialized. Replaced by a bolt of pure electrical energy that zipped off between the dozens of moving legs in the crowd. Heading directly towards the Fix-it Felix Jr outlet, where it disappeared inside.

Vanellope and Ralph, who had been watching from a safe distance away, quickly made their way to the outlet once Surge had been led away.

“Sucker…!” Vanellope snickered.

Turbo appeared beside her in a ripple of pixels.

“Now that’s what I call performance art.”

“Nice acting, Pajama Boy!” Vanellope said, slipping under the caution tape.

Turbo ducked and followed after her without too much trouble…

Ralph had to crawl to make it under, but at least he managed it without ripping the caution tape. That would have tipped off Surge for sure.

Turbo felt a prickle of anticipation as they entered the darkness.

Ready or not, he was about to see what the internet looked like…

Vanellope, on the other hand, was practically giddy.

“Of course.” he agreed immediately.
“You can count on us!”
“All right!”
Felix gave him a little wave.
“Better get going, then…!”

“Right - see you soon, Felix!”

Turbo sighed as they all turned away.

Somebow, he just couldn’t see this ending well…

Unfortunately for him, it looked like they were headed to the Internet. Whether he liked it or not.

Hopefully by the end of the night, Sugar Rush would be saved.
