What do you find attractive on Too Loud? For me its like a Ren & Stimpy wannabe

I appreciate that you went for “Ren & Stimpy” rather than “The Loud House”; the amount of spiteful harassment over the shows sharing a single word in the title is embarrassing. Serious, apart from being animated and having kids as the protagonists, there is nothing else to go on.I think a lot of the most ‘Ren and Stimpy’ style aspects come’s from Zeurel’s fantastic animated contributions, as that influence is prevalent in their other projects. I’m certainly not saying this is fact, as there is a ton of wonderful and absurd flourishes in the animation of Too Loud, but, while Ren an Stimpy takes things to furthest reaches of absurdity, Too Loud is a bit more grounded in it’s surreal way and arguably more wholesome. Also Ren & Stimpy is based on the classic comedic duo of “Cruel, bitter and cynical” meets “stupid, lovable and goofy”. Our protagonists, Sara and Jefferey are both optimistic and positive kids, with distinct traits but nothing so polarizing. As to what I find attractive about the show: Nico Colaleo hired a diverse group of industry people (from different tiers), internet animators (and celebs) and even dedicated first timers creating exactly what a new cartoon should be and breaking down those “this is a boys club and only people from these 2 specific animator schools are allowed to join” which burdened the industry for so long. Additionally it’s just a really dumb, sweet and special show that comfortably rolls up nerd references, surreal goofiness, and solid positivity.Season 2 is going to be a blast!

These are such kind, thoughtful words about Too Loud.. Thank you!!

Howdy! I wanted to say that I really enjoyed the first season of TOO LOUD and I can't wait for season two next year. And I also wanted to ask what your first job in the animation industry was? I myself am working through practicing animation and am hoping to start fishing for a internship some time next year,so I was super interested in how some body like yourself got started. Thank you so much for the awesome show and I wish you a wonderful week and a radical holiday season x3

Aw, thank you for all the kind words! I’m really excited for Too Loud Season 2 as well! My entry into the animation industry was in 2011 at Titmouse. After a few years there I was at Nickelodeon for a couple years, and now Disney TVA coming up on two years. Apply anywhere and everywhere! Don’t get discouraged if a studio passes on you - the first job is the hardest to get. And especially, don’t give up on yourself if it takes months, even a year+ of trying. Work hard, and you can achieve it!

What's going to happen in Season 2 of Too Loud?

Jeffrey and Sara get accepted into Star Fleet and the whole show becomes like Star Trek.

Well @nicocolaleo has neither confirmed nor denied this yet…But, I can say with 100% clarity that I want more Too Loud in my life- I want more shows, I want a comic, I want figurines,-I love this show, I love everything about it!There is something grassroots about its production that I adore, and I love that while it swims in Nerd cred (rich evans of RLM, David Lynch mayor, and Vincent Price) it’s essentially a perfect throw back to 90s nickelodeon!I will sing from the mountain tops- I love Too Loud and want more!:3

What art school did you attended? Did you ever expected to get this far in the industry?

Never attended art school - I went to school for film and video! Animation is a 2nd love of mine, and I just happened to land working in this industry because I knew more people in it
