Gallade related ask. Some folks theorize armarouge and ceruledge are related to gallade. Don't personally think that but the image of the two new mons meeting and hanging with a gallade sticks in the mind.
Kinda like a pokemon super shonen Sentai thing... I gurantee at least one person will have a team like that.
I'm wanting armarouge and ceruledge to be Paldean gallade and gardevoir so bad, but they are lacking the chest horn. That's not to say they still aren't variants. Perhaps the chest horn is what makes the ralts line primarily psychic-type empaths? Maybe without it, they are still vaguely psychic (the way ralts line is vaguely ghost-type for floating around and being in the amorphous egg group). They're interesting though. I wonder what the story is behind them being primarily fire type? I also wonder if the pre-evolutions will be just fire type, and they will get a secondary typing in the final evolution? Also interesting will be to find out if both armarouge and ceruledge come from the same pre-evolutions and have to be evolved differently.
