- Living for the fics where Izuku and Shinso are brothers. Is it through we-were-tortured-together trauma? Just being besties? Fostering? Adoption? All the ways work
- Love the Aizawa Adopts Izuku fics but hate that they always have something bad happen to his mom/make his mom bad. So now ive decided Inko has a sick relative (parents? her husband in the US?) she needs to be with to take care of them but doesnt want to take Izuku away from UA which works bc theres dorms now but he still needs a guardian close by and thats how Aizawa ends up with him

Why is it every time i sit down and watch a Naked & Afraid marathon i end up making a N&A!au for the last show i watched?

Im gonna count i gotta know exactly how many n&a aus that have come about this way

Edit 1: got too long for the tags so imma put it here: y'all dont understand this was the closest i came to fic writing FOR YEARS. The way the show is set up allowed me to have clear beginning middle and ends. I knew what obstacles they were facing. The only thing i felt like i really did was figure out their interactions with their partners and their responses to said obstacles. And thats all stuff i could figure out in a few minutes so thats y theres so many of them. Like its such a niche au but i never realized how much its contributed to my creative experience until right now like my mind is blown ALL bc the embarrassing numbers of one silly au

Right now im shipping Midoriya/Bakugo so thats bled in here a bit. This is all gen or pre-relationship
- Wingfic. Im dying to see Midoriya and Bakugo preening the other after a fight. Bakugo being gentle and surprising Midoriya, red faces while the others back is turned, reminiscing about how they havent done this since they were 4
- Wingfic but ONLY Midoriya. He cant fly (so he's "basically quirkless") but he's born with a wing quirk. During the last year of middle school Midoriya went through his training period which everyone else simply assumed was puberty hitting him like a truck which included his small wings finally catching up in size with him and going from goofy to majestic. Everyone in 1A is dying to touch them. Everyone. Whenever Midoriya asks for help with them fighting breaks out. They have a rotation for who gets to groom him (Bakugo is very jealous but he also refuses to get on the list.
One day he gets his wish and combusts when Midoriya sits down between his legs so he can work on the inner feathers) - Bakugo loopy from like idk wisdom teeth surgery or some drugged gas and clinging to Midoriya for no other reason then he wants too. Its so different from normal Bakugo no one knows what to do. Bakugo has his arms around Midoriya and his face in his neck. Midoriya is either super flustered or mega concerned
Finished season 2 here are some more
- Bakudeku and/or tododeku during the entire Sports Festival Arc. It was already super shippy but lets make it more so
- Someone giving Todoroki a hug. That boy is so sweet and caring he deserves one!
- Support Department!Izuku but all the standard James Bond Fanfic tropes. Any ship. All the ships. I cant find any on ao3 but i know they exist they have to

- Hit by a quirk (either love/lust, inhibition lowering, touch seeking) that results in Midoriya getting hugged from behind as he reluctantly puts up with it and tries to get things done. The image of the person pouting over his shoulder is hilarious and makes its rounds through the groupchat
- Probably already exists but hit by a quirk kidfic. Some little kid has a fusion quirk and can create a mixed copy of two(?) people, resulting in what is essentially their child. Thinking id be cool if their parent has the same quirk and has a agency where they give people who cant have kids a child of their own
- PJO AU. I know thats so basic these days but it would really work with this cast
- Speaking of AUs, why does a Merlin AU (with Arthur!Bakugo, Merlin!Midoriya, etc) fit so well?!
- TodoDeku Beauty and the Beast AU. This one also works really well. Todoroki as the cursed prince, Midoriya as self-sacrificing Beauty/Belle
- Midoriya going into gen ed/support/business instead of heroics and 1-A being mystified by how this one nice quirkless kid they occasionally pass in the hallway makes Bakugo feel threatened enough to amp up his bakugo-ness full force (someone is convinced they're exes, thats the only reason for 1) the nickname and 2) anybody being happy to see Bakugo) and then Midoriya makes it thru the beginning of Sports Festival and 1-A has front row seats of Bakugo's ongoing temper tantrum and the force that is Izuku Midoriya™️
- Mix "man temporarily forgot wife following surgery" with "SHES LOST HER MIND!" anyone pre-relationship with Midoriya. Think BakuDeku would work best but honestly any ship could pull it off as long as they got the guts to flirt
Saw some multiverse swap fics during my spoiler dodging scrolling of ao3 and while there are quite a few villain/vigilante Izuku swaps i have yet to see any genderbend swaps. The absolute chaos that could bring!!
- i can see it now: Both Izukus are having bi panic. The Izukus trying to fit into the new dynamic of the class (girls stick together but now all the girls are guys so fem!Izuku is getting pulled into the small circle of canon fem students meanwhile canon!Izuku is immediately sucked into the fem students bc he's part of the clique regardless of the swap and we all know this boy struggles to interact with cute girls). Everybody thirsting for the Izukus. Everybody. Fem!Izuku has shorts in her costume and all the pockets and pouches work to emphasize her curves and she fights with her legs even more so everyone is drooling as she does takedowns with her thighs and she looks so darn cute in her uniform skirt and pigtails and oh no she's wearing makeup so her sweet eyes are now even bigger. The girls swarm canon!Izuku because oh wow he's so cute and sweet but also omg look at his abs and his back muscles what would it be like to be carried by them and oh its nice to meet a boy our age with manners. Canon!Izuku is probably struggling and clinging to masc!Uraraka bc familiarity in the unfamiliar and then youve got the whole very lesbian Bakugo/Midoriya dynamic over there he doesnt know how to navigate (fem!Kacchan got blessed with all the feminine assets because of course Bakugo has to be heartbreakingly hot in every universe). Fem!Izuku is not fairing much better in that regard and she has the added girls-are-touchy bit where now all her girl friends are guys and they combust on the spot every time she checks on them or touches their shoulder and fem!Kacchan is a way more touchy person at home and canon!Kacchan struggles to be in the same room as her and also he's very clearly repressing something (its his feelings. Fem!Kacchan has already accepted them and plans to do nothing about them for at least 8 years)
- I really hope theres a Bachelor AU out there

- They (heroics) have a full PE course on ballroom dancing. In it they are to learn both (when and how) to lead and (when and how) to follow, develop chemistry and trust with a partner fast, and basic body coordination and grace. The kids are so pissed. Touching and close quarters with your classmates? Ew. Mineta is crying because theres only 6 girls in the class. Aizawa tells them theyll be trading off partners regularly so that doesnt matter. He cries harder because that means he has to dance with a guy at least once. They get to pick their first partners and thats it. The girls scramble for each other. Mineta starts crying again. Bakugo explodes his partner before the class even gets through the holds. Kaminari shocks his. Momo already knows how to ballroom dance and attempts to get out of it. Aizawa says they need to keep her for even numbers. Todoroki pretends he also knows ballroom dancing to get out. It doesnt work. Midoriya is sweating buckets. A fight breaks out over who is leading first among the groups. Aizawa wants to quit. By the end of the course at least half the students have a lot of fun. Getting there is not fun tho. Suprisingly the pairing that had the most fun when partnered was Midoriya and Kirishima (they kept spinning and dipping each other)

- Currently losing it at the idea of non-UA student!Midoriya being Bakugo's emergency contact when hes a Pro Hero. It causes uproar among his friends. Who is Midoriya? Bakugo's never mentioned a "Midoriya" before. And theres so many great reasons WHY he's the emergency contact: childhood friend is the closest thing to family he's got out in this new city where they both live even if they hardly talk. He refused to put his parents down and Deku already knows all his allergies and health history. Katsuki was drunk when he filled out the paperwork (in a attempt to make it more bearable) and he got to the "spouse" slot, remembered that time they were playing house when they were 6, laughed and wrote him down before promptly forgetting it, and when Izuku shows up at the hospital he's so confused bc 1) why is he Kacchan's EC they havent talked in five years 2) why on earth do they think he's Kacchan's secret husband?! Katsuki only ever calls him "Deku" so the bakusquad were literally panicked about nothing. They're roommates but no one has ever been to or learned anything about Katsuki's living situation. They are actual besties/boyfriends/husbands but bc Katsuki likes to keep his work and personal life separate no one actually knew. SO MANY OPTIONS
Have some villain Deku aus
- I doubt i could find this post again but years ago i mentioned a petty villain and the hero have a "date night" and when another villain interferes with that time the petty villain reminds everyone why they are top of the food chain despite choosing to be lame. So just that entire idea
- Petty villain Deku with the same "date night" deal except the heroes forced him to work with them and they realize Dynamight's lame ass arch-nemesis is smarter and scarier than any of their own villains
- Chargebolt: *calling Bakugo* Dynamight: WHAT chargebolt: your clingy villain boyfriend is flirting with Todoroki and Kirishima and its making me uncomfortable dynamight: just ignore him chargebolt: no he's not the problem the problem is they're really into it. Todoroki is smoking right now. Kiri is flirting back dynamight: SHIT
- Deku: i have drugged you with truth serum! Now the world will know of your past transgressions. Go on, tell them how you treated me in middle school dynamight: deku was cute as all hell and i didnt know how to handle it so i bullied him deku: wait what dynamight: he made my heart do funny things and i didnt like that. I still dont like that. Whyd you have to grow up HOT deku: umm- dynamight: HEY! I hate it when your attention isnt on me! I should be at the center of your thoughts all the time like you are in mine! Deku: i feel really bad for livestreaming this now uhh i didnt know you felt that way

- Future Izuku, who's currently living in the usa, getting sent to the past with a couple of buddies BUT they were at a party and now Izuku is standing in front of 20 fourteen year olds and his old homeroom teacher dressed as a slutty cowboy. He is dying. His buddy(s) are living. The language barrier doesnt matter, embarrassment is universal. Someone mentions he also has a tongue piercing now (it was a bet) and he tackles them right there
- More future Izuku living in the usa but this time Bakugo and maybe some others get sent to the future. Bakugo is a complete asshole to Izuku especially when he sees he's both hot and competent. He's trapped in the backseat of a car listening to country music while Izuku's friends sing along between grilling him on his dating life ("DEKU DATED HALF-N-HALF?" "Me and Shoto dated for four years yeah" "PRETTY BOY? OF ALL PEOPLE")
- This probably exists but future Bakugo getting sent to the past and immediately throwing hands with past!him because neither of them can stand his own attitude

- Izuku gets hit by a temporary genderswap quirk. It was written a couple times but never in the way i wanted so adding it to the list (y'all are sleeping on the funny aspects!)
- Read Multiverse Mayhem and right after read two other fics where id kill to see their Izuku's dropped into main canon like that (Burn Your Wings and The Morning's Hush)
