are u friends? are u a couple? are u just comrades in the war against ppl who pour instead of dip when eating tangsuyuk???? or in jeongguk’s words did u “think u were bae when u were rly just fam 😔”??!!? at the beginning u rly didn’t care abt all that bc u rly liked yoongi’s company and it was all new n exciting. but it had been 3 months of ~hanging out~ & u’ve never done so much math in ur life.........add the number of times yoongi has smiled at something u said but subtract all the times he called u a demon & multiply by the sum of the amount of times he’s offered u his sweater and sent ur favorite snack to u. then put that all in parenthesis & divide by the number of times he’s rolled his eyes when u called him cute. if p < .05 then maybe (MAYBE) yoongi might see u as more than a friend.....when that cursed day came n u finally asked him “what are we?” u were sitting in his manager’s car (which yoongi had borrowed w/o asking bc after offering u a ride home from ur closing retail shift he quickly realized that he actually didn’t have a car bc he actually hated driving but he couldn’t just back out after promising u). he first responded with a confused look bc helloooooooo don’t u see his efforts just to drive u home??? but after seeing the sincere n innocent look on ur face and realizing that he doesn’t rly tell u abt all the nonsense he has to go through just to spend 15 minutes with u he decided maybe he should stop being a caveman and (try to) use his words. “let’s reflect.” is what first came out of his mouth & u desperately wanted to make a comment abt how he sometimes behaves like the “genius-assh*le-heir-of-some-mega-conglomerate” anime character that solves every problem in a douchey know it all kind of way which rly irks everyone but he’s a fan favorite bc he’s correct 99% of the time and also he’s kinda (very fcking) hot. “let’s see. i stole my managers car like some grand theft auto character just to give u a ride home from your job that’s literally one block away from your apartment. jeon jeongguk and i live together but i’d put my phone on airplane mode if he ever asked me for a ride home. do u get it now?”
