hey op, what’s it like being a goddamned genius?

This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

The time I was touched at a comic convention dressed as Harley Quinn I was really fortunate to have other people say something about it.

The dude was dressed as Batman and at least 40 to 50. I was only maybe 16 maybe even 18 or so at the time hard to remember and in a very bad Harley Quinn costume. Met a big group of Batman cosplayers who were all super eager and happy to take photos it was really fun and they were all really nice since it was one of my first few cosplays clearly as the quality was WAY below all of theirs.

Anyways we took pictures but the batman kept getting close and actually touched my exposed waist since I was in a harley quinn sports bra and leggings. I asked him not to distracted by the camera and trying not to ruin the photo but he ignored me and went for my hip. I stepped away ruining the shot telling him not to touch me.

I'd never seen a group of people turn on a man so fast. Like 10 or so people all went on him. "What the fuck-"

He of course tried to laugh it off as a joke because "well she's a sexy harley quinn" and actually tried to put his arm around me as if we were friends pressuring me not to be upset.

"She's a fuckin kid-"

This guy who was dressed up as Nightwing actually stepped over knocking his hand away.

"Don't fucking touch her man."

Everybody started yelling and called security and I felt like I was gonna cry. I'd never really had people stand up for me like that usually just had to run away and hide. The asshole tried to man up against the much younger Nightwing who was not having it and telling him he didn't deserve to be dressed up as Batman and to fuck off.

Security came and saw me almost in tears and escorted him out which he was pissed about dozens of people stopping to yell at him. The Nightwing looked at me and asked if I was okay and yall he was the most fuckin gorgeous man I hadn't noticed because I was too busy being traumatized. I was suddenly so embarrassed and shy and some girls tried to fix my makeup (it was already bad but I appreciated it). He was so nice and telling me not to mind dickheads like that and asked if I wanted a soda. They were like 5 bucks so I said no.

He wanted to ask me something but one of them said a panel was happening so they had to leave quickly. I was with my sister who wanted to see something else and it wasn't a good idea to separate. He gave a thumbs up and saluted me and they all took off. I was just left there a swooning blushing mess.

Truly deserving of the Dick Grayson mantle. Be still my heart.

Stuck inside during this pandemi, so I trimmed my hair! First time trying it myself. A bit frizzy, as usual, but I don't feel like I need to shave my head, so I'd call that a success! 😊
