Alright so in this world the power scaling between different demigods is a LOT less severe like. Most of the difference in power between demigods comes from how many generations removed from the gods you are? Basically all first-child demigods can do powerful magic but like the third generation down won't be able to do nearly as much. That being said children of the big three have something kind of Wrong with them like their magic can get wild-magicy and chaotic/primordial where its more difficult to control and unpredictable, but very powerful when harnessed. Percy especially has that chaos problem lol. Here comes the wild magic sorcerer about to make the entire party's life a little more interesting

the basics of the world would be like. yknow pretty standard dnd world but the pantheon of gods stopped granting magical abilities to anybody their offspring (with some small exceptions). so wizards and druids and sorcerers and all the magic user classes are RARE and typically coveted in society like classic "court magician" shit. Also the most dangerous local rulers are demigods bc magic levelling in dnd is fucking insane so high level demigods can do. A lot of damage if they want to. One of the only big plot points im keeping from the original story is the big war that happened between children of the big three bc that is PEAK dnd worldbuilding shit lol.
