In Pokémon Ranger, there were going to be important human characters from the main games, but they got cut. There is also an early version of the male protagonist and a character that looks like an early version of The Go Rock Quads.

Here is the player character, who resembles the Ranger class in the main games. He might of had a game over animation (him kneeling down and yelling).

Here are the protagonists of FRLG and Emerald and a couple of miscellaneous humans.

There were also going to be champions and gym leaders from the main games. Steven had some thinking animations.

Judging by his placeholder name, he was one of the villains. He resembles all the male Go Rock Quads in some ways. He has a long coat like Garret and Clyde and the coat has fake fur like Billy’s coat. It’s possible that his character got separated into Billy, Garret and Clyde and that there was plans for an early version of Gordor (the Quads dad). What do you think his name would have been?

I wished more people talked about the cut content in Pokémon Ranger. There are scrapped objects, areas and music. I found the sprites and information on The Cutting Room Floor.
