To Boldy Go: A Star Trek Fanzine

Hi everyone, I want to sincerely apologize once more for how poorly I've handled running this zine and for being an irresponsible host to not let you know sooner of any delays. I do want to thank those of you who've reached out to me for updates or to offer your help. This project wouldn't exist without you and I'm sorry I let you down once again. The book is 99% complete, all that's left to do is the cover and to do a quick pass thru the interior to double check for errors and then it's off to print. I know I said as much back in February and failed to deliver, but this book is happening, I promise you that! Of course I'm still offering refunds to anyone who's interested in that. If I missed your previous request for one I apologize, but let me know if I have and I process it immediately for you! I'll be exhibiting at Montreal Comiccon this weekend, which is my only prior engagement, and once that's over I'll be finally finishing this book. I'm deeply sorry that I let personal issues and other commitments take priority when I should have focused on the zine. After this weekend I'll be completely free to dedicate myself to completing this project and getting it out to all of you! Thank you again and as always for you patience with me and this project! Hi everyone,

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all of your hard work and support, as well as for your patience and concern about this project. I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of updates and my poor communication regarding the zine over the past couple of months. 

I understand your frustration with me and I’m deeply sorry to the artists and everyone involved for the trouble and confusion this has caused. I hope you can forgive me, and I fully intend to own up to and remedy this. I’m determined to finish this zine and get it to you as soon as I’m able; I won’t abandon you or the project. I had no bad intentions nor did I mean for it to be delayed like this, life just hit me hard at the wrong time. This is no excuse for what’s happened, of course, I just want to explain myself, as I should have done when things started to slide.

I got overwhelmed and realized I was in over my head with the project, but instead of asking for help I thought I could manage it alone. This coincided with a severe health crisis I suffered in December which I’ve been recovering from since. Unfortunately, the project was neglected during this time and I should have reached out but I was afraid. I’m ashamed of myself for hiding away and letting my personal life interfere as it did.

The work that’s left to be done before the files go to print is my work on the cover and interior text/credit pages. The PDFs will be ready then, and the physical books soon after. My button machine will arrive any day now and then I can assemble the buttons. I’m sending the postcard files off for print tomorrow, and will have those in hand in the next week or so. I’m aiming to have the books by the end of the month to start packing and shipping. I’m including free extras with every physical order, and for anyone who purchased a PDF that would like a full set of buttons mailed to them at no charge, please send me your name and address. I can also issue refunds to anyone who is no longer interested; please contact me and that will be arranged.

I hope you’ll let me make this up to you, and I will learn from mistakes for the future. I promise to do better and I will see this zine through. Thank you again for voicing your concerns and holding me accountable to my actions.

Thank you all so much for your support and love for this project, it means so much! ;w; Everything is back on track after a bit of a delay, which I apologize for! I’m so sorry for the silence and lack of updates here, but thank you so much for your patience!!

There are only a couple of small things left to sort out on the artist side of things, and then the zine will go to print right away and orders will be fulfilled and shipped!
