@masked-alien-lesbian

Formerly maskedalienfreak. Birth year 1991 so definitely not a minor. They/them queer/lesbian on the aro/ace spectrum. Basically I find women and feminine presenting people attractive. Terfs and radfems are not welcome. Feel free to send me asks about anything, you're not bothering me. But be nice, I won't give you attention if you just send hate.

The choice that has your MC express a preference is "But if I chose one, I'm afraid the other will never talk to me again", after which Jade asks MC who they lean toward, and MC's response is coded (i.e. you don't get to choose who they say they prefer).

I might only be on chapter 3 of The Deadliest Game but I have thoughts. The way PB talked about this, you’d think they were giving us the world: GoC MCs, three LIs and choices that matter. Except….

GoC MCs should be a given in an app called β€˜Choices’ - as do choices that matter - unless the plot actually requires a female mc (eg Baby Bump).

Of the three LIs, we have that 2 male 1 female ridiculously imbalances formula. The 2 males have the most screen time. The β€˜main’ male LI had a diamond scene almost instantly and join your investigations no matter what. Pretty sure there’s a point where I didn’t take a diamond scene with the main LI and got a less-detailed version of the diamond scene instead. I’ve barely seen the female LI - she doesn’t even speak much in group scenes - and she’s definitely been less friendly than the main male so far. Is this a subconscious way of pushing the male LI further than the female, or am I too cynical?

And as for choices that matter, which I thought wouldn’t be a question in a game called CHOICES, it doesn’t count if most of them are paywalled.

Now that’s off my chest, I’m not sure I’ll be spending diamonds on this one. If it weren’t for the fact I still love their old material, I’d probably be off the app. Now, I’m going back to Maria in High School Story (funnily enough, HSS has all the things TDG promised us and is currently doing it all better)
