You aren’t wasting your potential. It’s one of those awful societal views that tells us our worth is defined by how much we can benefit others. This life is yours to experience. I’m sorry that both society and your pd are working to convince you otherwise.
I don’t want to be responsible for everything anymore.
I've been trying so hard for so long to stay on the bright side of things...maybe it's time I let myself feel what I feel.
Imagine how much you can grow and achieve if you allow yourself a break from taking care of everyone else, to learn how to care for yourself.
Despite how it feels, the whole world is not your responsibility.
You’ll be ok.
It’s not too late. You have so much ahead of you.
You are your own person.
When compared to just myself, I am the best at everything, and I am always getting better.
It’s okay to focus on one thing at a time.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Push through the stress and do it anyway--whether that means working on a project you were passionate about but abandoned due to fear of messing it up, or taking a break. Do what makes you happy.
You don't have to do it all at once.
What you experienced was real.
You are irreplaceable.
You don’t have to hold on so tight to the past, it’s okay to let go.
You aren’t fake if you were able to move on from someone, or something. The experience was real, and meaningful. Moving on just means that you’re able to heal, grow, and invest more in your current relationships and activities.
