“Both. Oh? Motorcycle makes a bad boy now? I’m pretty sure Sebastian has one of those and he’s so far from bad boy it hurts. I’ll have to watch you closely from now on, see if you’re the real deal.” The dirty blonde shrugged, looking around. “No boy toy was good enough to bring along. No one entertains me like you do and I figured you had all these people wanting your attention so I couldn’t get a piece of the Zay. Now I know for next time, I’ll just ask and you won’t say no, right?” It was weird opening up to someone outside of her family or a therapist about everything that had happened but it also felt like a weight off her shoulders. It was just an added plus that she couldn’t see any pity in his eyes. “No one really knows. I hide it pretty well, I think.” She was glad to have him around, someone who could just as easily change back to the joking and flirting like he could when it was clear that was all she wanted to do. She offered him a small but genuine smile, sitting down next to him at the table. “What can I say, designer by day, hero by night. Gotta save the masses.” She swallowed hard before waving it off and leaning up to kiss him on the cheek. “It was… a lot easier to tell you for someone. I don’t know why but my gut said it was okay and you proved me right. Thank you for not, judging me or anything. You’re a good guy, Zaya. And this is why I could never believe you were a bad boy.” She teased him, dipping a fry in ketchup and dabbing at his cheek. “Too sweet.”
“I think so, since not everyone’s down to ride a bike in the streets.. especially the streets here in New York. Sebastian’s a different story though. I’m so much more ‘bad ass’ than him but I keep on the low so I don’t hurt his feelings. Keep a close watch on me though, it’ll be fun to surprise you.” Another laugh left his lips and he just grinned after that with his arms crossing over his chest. “Damn, Batiste.” He responded after his laugh settled. “You sure know how to boost up a guy’s ego. Look you got me all blushing.” He pointed at his pinkish cheeks. He was an easy one to flatter and he gushed over compliments, especially when they were given by people as attractive as Lia. Zaya had honestly been surprised that Lia felt so comfortable opening up to him, but he also felt pretty privileged at the same time. He knew it could be easy opening up to someone you didn’t see all that often or know completely well. ( He knew because he had recently opened up to Aiden about something personal as well. ) It was probably because they’d known each other for years and were connected in a way since they had slept together before too. The comfort was obviously there. “Well you hide it like an expert. I admire that though I mean, with that smile no one would ever guess that you’d been through that kind of hell. You mentioned that you’re talking to a professional about it all?” His eyes closed the moment she pressed her lips on his cheek and he grinned, opening them up as she pulled away. The male nodded, rubbing the back of his neck. “I knew you were a super hero. I always had the feeling. Ahhh, don’t worry about it. Of course I don’t judge you, not one bit. We’ve all been through our share of hell.. but I guess it’s what makes us who we are today, right? At least a part of who we are. I guess I give myself away when I show how much I actually can care, huh?” He laughed again, knowing perfectly well that he never did good at masking that he cared . “I think my ‘sweet’ is at a good level, right?” He popped a fry into his mouth and smiled at her as he chewed. “Mm, I have an idea. When we’re done eating, what do you say we walk it off a bit and go play some of those cool games. We can compete to see who wins the most prizes and the winner has to hand over everything we win to the other, deal?”

I wouldn’t say ‘boxer’ but he knows a thing or two; learned a few things in Romania~ Eh, I say it’s cute– super cute my friend. Of course if it’s needed, there are a few exceptions but I’m all about love over here.

Zaya: kicked up his feet with a slice of pizza in his hand and a beer in the other. Him and Cal were watching Joel Osteen just liked they had planned and he found himself getting really into the message. It was something about faith vs fear and he felt like it was something he needed to hear. "This is sooo good. My parents watch this guy a lot, but it's been a while since I actually watched something all the way through." He commented before taking a drink of his beer. "So, you're a bad boy but also a good influence. I can dig that." He smirked over at his new roommate before taking a bite of his pizza. "I'll give you the cash for the pizza when I feel like getting up." The pair never really talked before when they lived at Willcox, but he was glad they were getting the opportunity to get to know each other now.
