I feel like so many activists really need to change the narrative from simply, “these right-wingers aren’t actually pro-life. They don’t care about children, if they did they would fund public schooling, maternal care, strengthen gun laws etc.”

They think women should be punished for having sex. Specifically: for enjoying sex and therefore pursuing it for its sake only and not for reproduction. They think women are whores who need to be controlled.
