Some News :)

Hi everyone ! I barely go on Tumblr anymore so I’m not sure if a lot of you will read this or not.

I started this blog 6 years ago and Tumblr isn’t the same anymore (and neither am I, and probably neither are you if you’ve been following this blog from the beginning !). I haven’t given up on Rose Leslie Source, but I’m now mainly active on Instagram and Twitter and barely think about posting news here anymore. For those of you who might not already follow the accounts, I advise you to follow RLS there to keep getting updates :

I’ll always love this place because it’s where it all started in 2014 but I’m not sure I will  keep updating this Tumblr (and if so, updates will be very slow) so I just wanted to say thank you so much for your support, kind messages, and help over the years. It’s been lovely to chat with you and I’m very grateful to anyone who has sent pictures, informations, or nice words. It has meant a lot, especially through hard times when taking care of RLS was one of the only things that brought me joy and it has been a constant in my life for so many years now. I’m currently running the website and social media accounts of the company I’m working for and I couldn’t have gotten this job if I hadn’t learnt so much through RLS and improved my English through Tumblr... and without you I would have given up years ago. I’m very sorry to anyone who has sent messages this past year as I’ve mostly been gone and hasn’t been able to reply to most of them in time. I’m so excited for Rose’s three (3 !!) upcoming projects in 2021/2022 and I’m still hoping to see her on stage one day if she ever does theatre again.

First of all i have followed you for years now as long as i have adored rose and had tumblr, i was wondering though if you have any thoughts on Death on the Nile and if it will even be released now considering said actors behaviour that as been hlighted recently.

Hi ! ♥ First of all I’m very sorry for the delay to this reply - it’s been months so I hope you will be able to see it. I’ve received similar asks and in my opinion they should release it quietly on a streaming platform. I’m glad Rose has one of the smallest roles in the end ; personally I just want to watch her scenes (especially since she has a french accent in this) and move on. I don’t know if they’re hoping everything will be forgotten by 2022 but I don’t see how they can pretend all is fine and release it in cinemas and promote it as if nothing happened - but on the other hand, it’s a huge movie and they can’t just forget about it and never release it, so streaming is the best option here.

Death on the Nile delayed until 2022!
Disney’s Death on the Nile has been pushed from September 2021 release to February 11 2022.
As moviegoing slowly begins to rebound in the U.S., it appears Hollywood studios aren’t yet ready to release their biggest blockbuster hopefuls on the big screen.
Disney has massively overhauled its upcoming slate and amended release plans for Black Widow, Emma Stone’s Cruella, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Pixar’s Luca and several others. Notably, Black Widow and Cruella will now premiere on Disney Plus at the same time they open in theaters. Cruella is arriving as scheduled on May 28, while Black Widow has been pushed back two months and will debut on July 9 instead of May 7.
Despite the massive shift to streaming, Disney doesn’t plan to entirely ditch theaters. Numerous smaller titles, mostly those inherited from 20th Century, have been postponed but will bow solely on the big screen, including Free Guy (Aug. 13), The King’s Man (Dec. 22), Deep Water (Jan. 14, 2022) and Death on the Nile (Feb. 11, 2022).

Hi I just wanted to say I'm very happy for rose & kit ! I hope both she & the baby are healthy. I know you don't talk about their private lives & this may be offensive because it could be a breach of privacy, so ignore the question if you want but do you know the baby's birthdate? I mean even looking at the pics he might have been born a week or 2 earlier? Late jan or early feb? Any guess?

Hi ! I’m very happy for them as well ! :) Even though I hate pap pictures it’s good to know everyone seems to be doing really well. I don’t know when the baby was born but if I had to guess I would say late January. 

(Also taking this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who is still checking out this Tumblr and sending asks, and sorry to the ones I didn’t reply to as I wasn’t often logging here and weirdly didn’t get any notifications so I missed most of them.)

Disney Assigns New Dates for ‘Free Guy’, 'The King’s Man’, and 'Death on the Nile’
Disney is sticking to its theatrical release dates for most of its features for the time being, which means that its 20th Century Studios fare, which is more mature and would have a harder time finding a place on Disney+ like Mulan and the upcoming Raya and the Last Dragon, is still finding new theatrical release dates.
Death on the Nile is now set for September 17 2021. If we’re lucky, the film should hit theaters normally without any further delay. - December 11 2020
