I always hear people say “Learn Parisian French, you’ll be understood in Québec”. While that is true, keep in mind that you also have to understand the Québécois in order to have a conversation with them. So here are some common expressions used in Quebec!
NOTE: Most of these expressions (not the words) are slang and wouldn’t be used in a formal setting. Also, not everyone speaks like this.

La salle était bondée, y avait full de monde! The room was full, it was jam-packed with people!
Sors les vidanges, ça sent le diable! Take out the garbage, it reeks!
Mets ta tuque, y fait frette! Put your hat on, it’s cold out!
Ch’peux-tu ouvrir la télé? Can I turn the TV on?
J’ai écouté un bon film la semaine dernière. I watched a good movie last week.
(Yes, you can open a TV and hear a movie. Go figure)
