Okay y’all, I found this out in the NSFT server, and I need to shout it.

My game usually takes 15 minutes to load. I was told to uncheck the “show at start” for the mods list to make it faster.

My game loaded in ONE MINUTE. I have 28 gigs of mods.

Uncheck that shit.

I need to try this, my 80GB takes ages to load… but I minimise it and work on cc in the meantime so it does have its advantages

The Simblr community really is amazing

I mean, what other Sims community out there could so effortlessly pick up the dropped ball that was the Community Stuff Pack CAS vote?

MC Command Center Release 7.0.0 is out!

The newest public release for MCCC/MC Woohoo is 7.0.0.  A lot of you may not know this but the mod developer, Scumbumbo, passed away last year.  He was a big contributor to Sims 4 development and was a mentor, of sorts, to me as well.  I always respected him and appreciated everything he did.  He was a great teacher and had more patience than I could ever claim to have when dealing with people.  In memory of all he did and was to me, I am naming the 7.0.0 version the Scumbumbo Memorial Release.  Thanks for all you did!

Updated Sets

So i have been fighting to upload these items but i believe it is all done. Things I have fixed:

A few other things were mentioned like the always annoying by not reproducible “No counter space” bug (If you are using Mina kitchen make sure the default counter is used and has space free, the alternate versions are really for show or appliances since they aren’t coded to be usable surfaces for preparing meals) or issues with beds and computers. I have looked at all these and can’t find issues on my end so if you are still having issues redownload and if you still are, contact me with exact details so i can attempt to reproduce or diagnose the issue.

Looks like SFS database has updated with the new files (I probably overloaded it with the 1.57GB of content that was updated) so you should be safe to redownload. If the date modified listed on the left of the SFS download page is not July 8, download from google drive or wait for a bit and let me know which ones are lagging). 

The Other Side - 10 New Skintones for Dark and Light Complexions

Today I bring you an experiment that came about from the selection of skin colours available in TS4. There is a serious lack of dark skin colours, and the light ones have left a lot to be desired. After a bit of research, diving into the clientfullbuild files, lots of backwards and forwards into the game for testing, hex editing to edit the colour swatches because s4pe threw errors, I finally came up with the lightside and darkside skintones. I could not be more happy with my first, and possibly last foray into the world of TS4 skins. I came away knowing more about the game and some awesome new colours that don’t look jaundice or ashy.

I mean can we escape racist behaviours and people making 90s racist humour? Of course not. They seem to be immovable.

Now something we can actually make change is for public figures (and companies in the present case) not to endorse these behaviours. Isn’t there a way to @ the Eaxis team? Tell them to be more consciously active when making decision.

Maybe one day the Ea game changer program could be used also to help that company to be more empathetic and aware of things. But what am I talking about. It’s a company.

has anyone tried reaching out to EA on any social media, or @‘ing the gurus on twitter? none of us held back when EA forgot the lesbian flag in the pride update, we definitely shouldn’t be holding back when maxis is blantantly featuring racist creations
